She is nice up until you pay at drop off. Then she is rude and doesn't care how your clothing comes out. At pick-up she told me not to try on the dress she tailored. She was even offended that I brought the shoes for the outfit to make sure the length was good (it still dragged on the floor). My new dress also had multiple tears in the material at pick up... AVOID this place!

Exceptionally rude phone service. I called to ask a few questions and was cut short with every sentence. The seamstress responded quite condescendingly to each of my questions.

I had an amazing experience at Rippert's. I had my wedding gown tailored here and it was a very elaborate dress. From the moment I stepped in the store Kathy greeted me it was a great experience. She worked around my schedule (I'm a doctor...so I dont have a very flexible schedule) and the appointments were not rushed. I even asked her to redo the whole top because I did not like the way it looked the first time and she redid it all over again without any pressure or fighting. The end result was completely amazing. I looked beautiful in my wedding dress. I recommend her eyes closed.

I had an amazing experience at Rippert's. Kathy was amazing when it came to working with my gentle lace dress and making sure it was perfect for my wedding day. She made me a couple of private appointments to make sure my dress came out just the way I wanted before my big day. While there she made me and my guests feel comfortable. I would definitely suggest her to anyone in Philadelphia with a wedding dress needing a bustle or anything else done to it.
