Went in to get my wedding dress altered, the owner was friendly and helpful. Came here after going to David's Bridal, where I felt the staff didn't really care about me at all. The owner was kind and listened to every one of my needs and found a way to make a compromise in the areas where what I wanted that wouldn't be feasible. Was easily able to answer every one of my questions. Measurements were quick and turn around time is only 4 weeks. Glad I decided to come to someone local instead of going to a big corporation. Local businesses make all the difference.

This is a great business. I didn't know they were there. They were able to repair a jacket that had gotten caught on something and ripped. The gentleman was very helpful.

I needed a sash belt sewn on to a dress for my baby shower this upcoming weekend. However, with an elastic waistband it is not recommended. We came to a great compromise that I am very happy with, and it only took about 5 minutes. Thank you again!

Awesome! I needed a zipper replaced in a pair of pants. I had a dry cleaner 'replace' the zipper. They simply worked the zipper with some soap or something to make it go up & down temporarily, but then broke. I took them to the Professional Tailor. It only took about a week & I have worn them more than once & the zipper hasn't broken yet!

I had a bridesmaid dress that I thought I would never end up wearing because my friends wedding was suddenly cancelled. There was no point in getting it altered. Then rather unexpectedly they decided to marry after all, and I was left with only two days until the wedding to scramble. This was my fault because I had put everything else for the wedding to do list above my dress. I called frustrated and antsy thinking that the owner would not be able to fit me in. It is the end of September and a busy wedding month. He told me to come in. He was very polite. He was very accommodating, and told me he would have my dress done that same day! The price was good, and the results were even better. This is the way people should run a business! What a life saver!

Me and my husband have taken many items to the shop and every single time without fail our clothes are tailored perfectly. I have gotten dresses done and my husband has gotten his uniforms done. I also get my dress pants tailored by him. His professionalism and willing to help is outstanding and I constantly refer business to him because of how impressed I am with his work. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone to do anything! He is extremely talented and friendly.

Got a dress in the mail for my daughter on homecoming. Paid $115 for the dress. The guy wanted $125 to tailor it. Based on the reviews I thought you couldn't put a price on quality. The dress need to be tightened on the top and shortened on the bottom. Got the dress back the day before homecoming and the dress was so short that you could see her butt hanging out the bottom. After a week finally had the chance to go back and talk to the tailor. Showed him the dress and asked if there was anything he could do to fix it. He threw away all the material and said "she can just get a pair of shorts to go under." Really?! I work retail and when a customer has an issue, I try my best to rectify the problem. If I cannot, I compensate the customer for their troubles. So I asked the guy, the top is correct, but the bottom is ruined, how about knocking half the price off. No refunds...noting I can do. Now I am stuck with an unwearable $235 dollar dress. Horrible customer service, customer is wrong, never right. WAY overpriced. Save yourself the headache and go down to Top Notch Sewing in Dover. She stands behind her work and prices are much better.
