Jaizelles craftsmanship is impeccable and she is a pleasure to work with. She is very detailed in explaining what she is going to do to alter your garments and is very reasonable with costs. I have gotten 3 dresses altered by her this summer (bridal shower dress, wedding rehearsal dress, and wedding dress). I will most definitely be a repeat customer! :)

I bought my daughter a prom dress on the internet because she wanted something unique and i had a budget. The dress was beautiful and fit perfectly, except for the chest. It was way too small and the zipper wouldn’t go up from mid back. We took the dress to Jaizelle Hanna and she fixed the dress by making a corset type tie down the back - beautiful! It was done quickly and the price was reasonable for the quality of work.

Jaizelle was wonderful to work with-- I contacted her with less than a week before my wedding in order to have my wedding dress altered, and she couldn't have been more supportive and helpful. I had taken my dress to another tailor and had a pretty awful experience there (not listening to what I wanted done with the dress, so that by the end of it, I hated the way my wedding dress looked on me). I called Jaizelle in a bit of a panic, and she immediately provided me with reassurance and recommendations on what could be done in such short notice. Thankfully, she was able to fit me in for a last-minute appointment the following day. She actually listened to what I wanted done with the dress and did exactly what I asked for. She made the changes that day (within an hour!) and I picked up my dress the following day. Her prices were reasonable, her work was meticulous, and she was incredibly professional. I only wish I had gone to her from the beginning- she saved my day!

It had to have its 5 skirts hemmed up (two with a “horse hair seam” which is more complicated), shoulders taken in, zipper repaired, and a simple bustle added. I came to Jaizelle with my bridesmaid dress two weeks before my sisters wedding with the impression that all I needed was a hem. My initial meeting with Jaizelle she pinned the dress and had it looking perfect in spots I didn’t realize weren’t already. The way she had it pinned were the exact results on the finishing product. The dress looked like it was made that way especially for me. The stitches were neat and clean, the hem was done beautifully. I could not be any happier with the way it fits and feels, to say her work is amazing is an understatement. Not only her work, but she herself is an amazing individual! I meant to write a review about Jaizelle back in April when she altered my bridesmaid dress for a wedding, but I got so busy that I completely forgot. Now that a friend of mind is asking me where she should get her bridesmaid dress altered, Jaizelle popped right back into my head. After L&H Bridal told me that I needed my dress completely altered and told me a very expensive price, I decided to go to Jaizelle. Jaizelle told me that my dress didn’t even need to be altered at the bottom at all, and that it laid at a perfect length with my shoes. This was the complete opposite of what L&H said, which made it clear that L&H was after my money where as Jaizelle just wanted the best for her customer. Jaizelle’s alterations came out perfectly, and I couldn’t have been more happy!

If you are looking for a seamstress who knows her craft and is an authentically kind, caring person Jaizelle is just what you need! I purchased my wedding gown from Sabrina Ann's Consignment Shop, and the store highly recommended her and two other seamstresses to get my dress altered. Do yourself a favor and go to Jaizelle for your alterations. She was very prompt in replying to my initial inquiry about altering my wedding dress and I quickly got an appointment. When I went to her shop, she put me at ease right away. Jaizelle is incredibly friendly and professional. She was totally transparent in the work she was going to do on the dress and asked me at every step if I had questions or concerns. She kept me updated on her progress and I had my finished dress in plenty of time. The quality of work was amazing, she hemmed my dress pretty significantly without sacrificing the beautiful details toward the bottom. More importantly, Jaizelle talks about how the dress should fit on your body, not how your body should fit in the dress and this is an important distinction. I never thought I would describe the fitting and alterations process as body positive, but that's what it was and I really appreciate that. Among all the potential stress and enormous list of things to do before your wedding or major event, leaving your dress in Jaizelle's hands will be a stress free, even fun experience.

I chose Jaizelle to do my bridal alterations because of her amazing reviews on google and yelp. I figured I’d pay it forward and let other people know how amazing she is so she can share her talent with many others. I bought a used dress that fit way different than I thought it would, and I was having a mini panic attack when I called Jaizelle to see what she thought based on my description of what I needed. I was SO worried it would never be right. From our very first phone conversation she calmed me down and made it all seem do-able. When I came in she was very patient with what I said I needed. The dress was slightly too short for heels, was too tight in the hips and had SO much beading it would have been impossible for other seamstresses. But Jaizelle is a magician! She did a wonderful job and finally I’m really excited about my dress and less stressed out! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! And her prices are much more reasonable than boutique alterations. If you need alterations done perfectly, even on a difficult item, do yourself a favor and choose Jaizelle!

I was interested in working with Jaizelle after reading her stellar Google reviews, and knew that she was the right fit for me after having our first consultation phone call. I was less than two months out from my ceremony date, hadn't bought my dress yet, and wanted someone to alter/customize this dress, that had yet to be bought, with my mothers vintage wedding gown. It was a lot to ask, and I wasn't sure if it was even possible, but Jaizelle gave me the confidence that she would be able to make it happen. I bought my dress and had my appointment with Jaizelle. She was extremely welcoming and warm, as if I had already known her for years. Again she made me feel confident that I made the right choice. With little time, I knew that she wouldn't be able to do any extravagant customization with the two dresses, and I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted to do either. I was referred to Jaizelle to have my wedding gown altered. My wedding was planned in a total of about 7 weeks due to an illness in the family, when I purchased my dress I had about 5 weeks left to have the dress done. I called Jaizelle, we set up a day to meet and I explained the situation and how little time was left. Not only did she assure me that she would be able to have it done in time, she was so kind and caring about the situation I was in. My schedule was hectic during the next couple of weeks, she was so accommodating so we could get together each visit and always asked how my family was doing and was genuinely concerned. She was very professional, helped make suggestions and explained everything she was going to do to the dress in detail. It really shows how much she loves what she does. My dress required quite a bit of work, including a custom bustle and removing and reattaching by hand all of the scalloped lace on the bottom of my dress. My venue was close by and she even offered to come by if I needed any help with bustling the dress the day of the wedding. I loved my dress when she was finished with it and I think her prices are very reasonable. She is so professional, caring and welcoming. I went back to her the following year to have my gown turned into a christening dress for my daughter, again with not a lot of time to do it and really just an idea on the shape of the dress I wanted. She helped me decide on a few things and I told her to do her thing, the dress was perfect! Highly recommend using her for any alterations or custom clothing you may want. Thank you Jaizelle!!

GUYS PLEASE READ! Jaizelle will make you look like a million bucks. I wish I discovered her before my wedding. My suit would have fit like a glove.... instead I had it tailored from the dept. store where I bought it, a nice CK suit but I can remember their in house service was awful and my look suffered. But now that I met Jaizelle; I will suffer no more My wife bought me a Banana Republic suit (on sale for like $75) a seriously great deal. Linen and in this sharp blue. But when I put on what I ordered online it looked bulky, baggy and big. One trip to Jaizelle and she turned that suit into a show stopper. I felt like Ric Flair (wooo)... I’m bringing her all of my suits, pants and coats. My only regret is this review took me almost 2 months to post. But now get all your clothes that need to be tailored and go see Jaizelle!!

I waited until the last minute to find someone for my wedding dress alterations, mostly because i didnt know where to go. So I used Google and saw Jaizelle had such great reviews. She's AMAZING at what she does. If she says shes quick, she is. Got my dress in 2 weeks. And it's gorgeous. Fit is perfect, lines are perfect, hem and train, immaculate. Did i mention my dress is a couture gown and all lace?? She's worked in film and with celebrities and has such a great gift at what she does and she truly loves it!! And the icing on the cake, she's affordable.

Jaizelle is not only good at what she does but is also the most lovely professional to work with! The first time I worked with her I had brought in a formal dress which needed to be hemmed. She has this amazing ability to make it feel like you have been working together forever and was helpful in providing opinions when asked. Although it was a relatively simple task, it was clear that Jaizelle had a lot of business, so I was shocked when she contacted me two days later to say my dress was ready to be picked up! I absolutely LOVED what she had done with the dress and was so grateful for how accommodating she was. I cannot recommend her enough and will definitely be using her again!

I'm not sure I've ever written a review about anything, especially a positive one, but experiences like the one had with Jaizelle need to be shared. I can't say enough about the accommodations, service and friendliness. I needed to have an off-the-rack suit altered (not even her specialty) at the last minute to make a trade show out of town. My window both to have it completed, and when i could pick it up was, quite honestly, unreasonable on my part. Jaizelle went above and beyond to make this happen, and the suit looked fantastic. On top of that, she's got an incredibly pleasant disposition. This was the kind of experience that makes you WANT to bring someone more business. Customer service isn't dead after all.
