Sometimes you just get lucky! I was looking for somewhere to get my grandson's Marine uniforms updated to his new rank. The job needed to be precise. I found Harry'so shop. I can't say enough about my interactions with this gentleman. He not only did a fabulous job but was more than reasonable. He was proud to do this job for a military service man. I needed my bridesmaid dress to be shortened, but every tailor I went to before Harry asked for a ridiculous price ($120, $300). When I told Harry the details of my dress over the phone, he said he would only charge me $60! And he stuck to that price when I met him in person too! I picked up my dress today (the day he said it would be ready) and the alterations he did are pure perfection! Harry is a friendly, humorous man and he gives you great bargain for the quality of work he does. Very impressed!

I dropped off a dress on 12/4/17 to have an invisible zipper replaced. Paid $20.00. Was told it should be ready in a week. Mr. Monahas didnt take a phone number down for me but I figured no biggie. Whatever. I waited for 2 weeks because I know some tailors get busy. I dropped in 2 weeks later only to be told that he didnt have the correct zipper in stock and had to order it. I am very patient especially seeing the Mr. Monahas is quite elderly. Fine. Went back a month later only to be told that the zipper they sent was the wrong size. Now I'm mad. 2 months later..... Finally I asked my son to pick up the dress today if its ready or not. Today is March 5th 2018. He hadnt done ANYTHING to it so we just took the dress and drove off. So now i still need a zipper replaced and he has my $20.00 I dont even want it back. He should really consider retiring. Maybe some dementia starting.
