I went to Chiarina to have my pants hemmed and recut. Later she n I took them home, they were perfect, although a bit snug at the waist, so she had me bring them back in free of charge to be let out. If I could give no stars I would. I took in a tapestry tablecloth that I wanted shorter by 17”. I have no idea what she was thinking. She cut into my tablecloth 17” and then sewed it back up. He then tells me he thinks that seam was already there. No! Absolutely not! Why would a 17” cut/seam be in the middle of the tablecloth!!! It was a simple task; cut 17” off and make a new hem on one side. I sure would hate to see what she would do to my clothes! Oh and it was in the shop 3 weeks and no one ever called. I finally called on a Wednesday and he said it would be ready Friday and then I find it destroyed!

We have been using Chiarina's since 2014 for all of our altering needs. My daughter's entire prom dress was altered to fit perfectly. Whether it's an intricate job, or just a hem, this is the place to go! The store is clean and neat, not like some tailors I have seen at the dry cleaners. Additionally, The couple who own it are friendly and honest.

Adorable, friendly Italian seamstress provided best service I've ever had! I knew my bridesmaid dress needed the hem shortened but she recommended a few other areas to take in and wow! I literally never had a dress fit/look so amazing. Worth every penny! Will definitely be back for future alterations. This must be how celebrities feel - having their outfits perfectly tailored to fit their body types. And let me tell you, it really does show.

I have been going to Chiarina for my tailoring needs since 1993. Her work is excellent. She is quite good, and worth the occasionally higher price. Some things could be done by a tailor for less, but none could do the work as well. I trust Chiarina with my very best clothing alteration needs.

Told me would alter my suit to fit perfectly- she didn't -ruined suit!. Told me does not cut fabric - that was a lie! Saw with my own eyes when 2nd tailor opened up the jacket in front of me. Jacket needed to be totally redone to fit- one sleeve 1/2 inch longer than other and skirt was lopsided and unevenly hemmed. Very, very disappointed. When I told her and showed her about jacket I was told that she would have had to lift and alter shoulders. That would have been fine with me. Why didn't she do that from the beginning? Had to find and bed other tailor to fix my ruined suit!!!!

Chiarina was amazing! She did all the alterations for my wedding dress. I had some alterations that I thought needed to be done, and she accommodated all of them. She also pointed out things that needed touching up that I had not even noticed. Chiarina was incredibly thorough, which is exactly what you want for your big day! She also completed the alterations in a timely and punctual manner. I had a wonderful experience at her tailor shop, and would highly recommend her as a seamstress!
