Needed pants shortened. Took two weeks and they were too long. Had them shortened again and was not happy with the puckering on the pants. Owner got very annoyed with me like it was my fault I was paying good money and my pants did not look good.

They take a very long time and did not meet deadlines. They missed three deadlines with me and did not give me a heads up. I had to call every time. However, for the price (cheap) the work was good quality. Mr. Baldwin gave me a discount because of the missed deadlines. Mr. Baldwin and his employees were cool people, too. I would give 3 1/2 stars if I could. I would go again if I was in no rush and was willing to nag them until they completed the work.

I was referred to this place by another tailor. I needed an outfit for my son's prom and I needed it within a week. At first I was told that it was short notice but I guess he could hear the desperation in my voice. Much too my surprise he agreed to make something for him . A week later my son picked up his outfit and he looked amazing. !!!! We will defiantly be back . Thank you.

Very unprofessional. As a African American we always talk about supporting black owned businesses and the poor service and unprofessionalism that I experienced is the very reason we don't support our own peoples businesses. Very knowledgeable but irresponsible, liar, and unprofessional. Never met deadlines and didn't even give the common courtesy the day before to call me and inform that my items were not even started.(prom suit and prom dress). Living an hour away this was very unnerving. Sent my son and his girlfriend down as I got tired of dealing with their non-sense on the last trip and he told my son he acted like a female and was too picky. This is how you speak to a customer; a 17 year old and your all of 65 years old. "Really," when I'm paying over $1000 for you to make a suit/dress the way I want it. My son got frustrated and gave me the phone and I respectfully spoke with Mr. Baldwin and let him know how disappointed I was with him and he got pissed at me and shoved the phone back into my sons hand and said, "here you talk to your F'ing father!. Needless to say that with his unprofessionalism and aggressive attitude it was a good thing my son went alone because I'm sure I may have been getting arrested. Then get the suit home and it has stains all over the back of it like it was just thrown in the corner somewhere. What a nightmare of an experience. I would not encourage anyone to patrionize this business! Very disappointed from one black man to another...

Mr Baldwin give you The attention you deserve the variety of fabric is from mud cloth to leather to cotton wool blends the prices are right his staff is amazing but the work that goes out of there is phenomenal

I took several 3-button jackets and mod suits to Baldwin's. I asked him to tailor them like it was "1963 Britain." He knew exactly the look and did a great job with the tailoring. I felt the price was fair as well.

Owner did not do the tailoring on the date promised and asked me to return the next day. Upon my return, he had forgotten again to do the work. He has proven to be totally unreliable and irresponsible.

I had a leather coat which was great, except that its sleeves were too short...After trying various ways to sell it, I happened to randomly stumble upon Baldwin's while wandering around. They were able to add leather to the sleeves so that it was perfect - you would never guess it was altered. Highly recommended.
