Paid an outrageous amount for a press & hem of a gown. Went to put it on and it was never pressed an hour before the occasion. Called the owner and addressed this with her and instead of trying to correct the problem she insisted that we never told her to press it. If I were you, I wouldn't go here! Overpriced & poor customer service Follow up: the dress wasn't even hemmed completely around the bottom, and it was obvious

Amy is great. She has been in business for over 30 years. They have an alterations place on post in McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, but people still choose to get their work done at Amy's. She may not have the best employees, but if you get Amy, you're in luck! I always go here to get my ACUs fixed (i.e. the Velcro isn't sticking anymore, I need new nametapes, etc). Highly recommend her.
