Lucy was able to transform my wedding gown into my dream dress. My dress was not easy to work with because she created the sleeves from scratch, and was able to seamlessly hem my gown with great detail on the bottom. I told her what I wanted and she delivered excellently. She was so nice and inviting, and was always very honest which I appreciated. She does 100% quality work and is worth every penny. Thank you Lucy for creating my dream dress. You are amazing at what you do!

Do NOT use Lucy for alterations. Unless you want your dress to smell like fried food! She will give you a price then when you go to pick up your dress she will double it and say that was the price. She's dishonest and pushy.

When my wedding dress from Alfred Angelo arrived with noticeable design flaws, I despaired of ever getting to wear the dress of my dreams. The dress arrived only 8 weeks away from my wedding and I knew I didn't have time to start over. I took the dress to Lucy and in a matter of minutes, she examined and pinned the dress to show me how she could correct the issues. Lucy was understanding and truly empathized with how upset I was. She assured me that she could fix it. Her work was incredibly fast -- just two weeks -- and when I attended my second fitting yesterday, it was beautiful! Lucy took this from being an ill-fitting, unattractive gown to being an absolute showstopper! I closely inspected the gown and you cannot even see where she had to alter the gown. Her work was flawless and gorgeous. I can't wait to wear the dress at my wedding in two weeks! I would definitely recommend Alterations by Lucy to any bride looking for someone reliable, honest, and swift!

Wonderful Work! My wedding dress was a size 18 because of my breast and I'm between a 10 and 12. I can't express how fantastic her work was. My dress had to be taken in so much and after the alterations, my dress was perfect. Lucy does excellent work and is very professional. I will recommend her over and over again for any occasion. She also added a bustle to my dress so that we can hook my train up. She also loves what she do. My dress was beautiful and flawless.
