Wow! Amazing woman, amazing work! I’ve been to Tasia twice in the past 5 months for two very different bridesmaid dresses - one too big, one too small. Both times she not only fixed all the problems, but made me feel confident and beautiful in the dresses. She does not stop until they are perfect and you look your best! She’s very flexible, personable, and reasonable. I’m so grateful I found her business and I look forward to hopefully bringing her a wedding dress someday!

I didn't see on the website if an appointment was needed. Also, I called on Tuesday Dec. 26th to see if they were open and the person answered and said no but they'd be open tomorrow. They didn't ask if I wanted to make an appointment so I just dropped by the next day. I went in with the intention of buying a wedding dress. When I told her my wedding date, 1 year and 1 month away, which I didn't think was that far in advance to get a dress, she said "this isn't the place for you, you don't know what the fashion will be like that far ahead". I asked if I could still look around and she didn't even offer to help at all, just stayed seated. I looked around at the limited selection and still at no point was offered help, even though there were no other customers almost the whole time I was there. I went to David's Bridal and bought a dress that same day.

Kate was amazing when it came to altering my Wedding dress, she asked me multiple times Which details I would want to change after each fitting and took time to ensure that I was happy with how it turned out, my dress had a layer or lace and beading and she was still able to do an amazing job!!! Tasias Tailoring and her top tailor Kate did a fabulous job with my wedding dress! I came in with a lot of requests to make my dress perfect, and she was able to tackle all of them with ease, turning around the finished product in just a few weeks at a great price. On top of that, she is so sweet and easy to work with! She took the time to show my mom and sister how to bustle my dress, so on the day of my wedding, they were able to do it without any issue. I rented a suit for a wedding I was in last weekend. The live band was incredible, and, per usual, I entered the dance floor with hip-swaying aplomb and a swagger that would make Usher jealous. The only problem was I didn't (or didn't want to) factor in the tightness of the pants rental. In one of my signature gyrations, I lowered my body down towards the floor, only to hear a heart-wrenching popping noise. When I came up, the pants were assuredly cleaved in two, with only my badonkadonk and my passion for pop cover bands to blame. There seemed no way to fix the problem. I was forlorn. Compounding the issue, I needed to return the pants to the rental company in three days. Not only did the talented tailor at Tasia fix the pants with, what I can only assume is some type of sorcery borne from the dark arts, but he managed to do it in not just days, but HOURS. I can't say enough good things about this sartorial magician and this tailor shop. Feel safe in the knowledge that if he/they can fix a wardrobe malfunction caused by an uncontrollable derrière, they can assuredly produce any alteration you need. Great place for seamstress repairs, dress shopping and alterations. My daughters and I have been going to Tasia's for years. I have brought pants in for repairs. My daughters and their friends have bought prom dresses at Tasia's. One of my daughters bought her prom dress elsewhere and brought the dress to have alterations done. The dress came out absolutely beautiful!

Wonderful experience! The service was excellent, the woman who helped me was very good and has very good eye for the type of style that works for your body type. They were not at all pushy and let me browse to find something I liked but pulled dresses they recommended which I ended up purchasing a gown that is my dream dress. I took two of my designer dresses to be altered at Tasia’s because of the positive reviews I read. One of my dresses was a bit tight around the chest area and the other needed some material added around the neckline. I have to say that I couldn’t be happier because they did a phenomenal job! I went to Tasia's in desperate need of alterations as I bought my wedding dress online and it was miles too long for me and had nothing in the way of a bustle. Kate was able to expertly do everything I needed. She shortened the front, hemmed so I wouldn't trip all over myself and put in an amazing 3-button bustle that'll be easy for my bridesmaids to help me with. I was initially concerned if alterations were even possible because my dress is entirely lace from top to bottom and I was worried if hemming would end up bulky and uneven, but she did it PERFECTLY. I would 100% recommend her to anyone and would go back in a heartbeat. In fact I'm planning on sending my fiance there to have his suit tailored for our wedding too. Kate is such a sweetie and she made me feel completely at ease the entire time; thanks so much!!

A couple of years ago, she ended up keeping my mom’s wedding dress because she wanted to charge my mom $600 to make minor alterations and my mother refused to pay such a ridiculous price because he dress cost $300. So she refused to give my mom back her dress and kept it. Fast forward to now. I didn’t know about my mom’s experience to I went there to get my prom dress tailored. She wanted to charge me $130 for TWO minor alterations on a dress that cost $103. AND She kept trying to persuade me to get other alterations that I didn’t need. Of course that was ridiculous so I took my dress elsewhere and paid $50 to get THREE alterations done. My dress came out perfect. This place is a joke. They’re ridiculously overpriced and are only looking to rip people off.

There was a great selection of pre-owned inexpensive wedding gowns as well as prom or evening gowns. However, the experience was lacking. The store owner was not very friendly and was very rushed. This is a good place to go if you know exactly what you are looking for, because she will not be willing to help you experiment with styles. I even made an appointment ahead of time and she barely made ten minutes for me with full attention. Good selection of gowns but not the best place to go to feel comfortable trying on dresses.

My friend came in to look at bridal gowns and was told to leave because it was too far in advance to even look at them. I’m sorry what?! Why does that even matter? To make matters worse the woman working there sat my friend down and proceeded to explain to her why it was too early to look at them. She then gave a business card to a competitor and told her to go there. I am absolutely appalled that a business would do this. I would not recommend going here. Might as well take their recommendation and go to bhldn.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE. I was traveling from the west coast to farmington for a wedding when I realized my dress was 2 sizes to big. Kate performed nothing short of a miracle on my bridal gown. I came to her with less than two weeks until my wedding with a dress that looked horrid on me and she made the dress fit like a glove!!!!! She came in early and stayed after hours to make sure she got the job done. I would reccomend her to every bride who needs any alterations, her attention to detail was superb. Not only does she do an amazing job, but she is so sweet and loving, I will bring all my tailoring an alterations to her forever!!!!!!

Over the course of the last 6 months, she did a lot of work for me, including altering a bridesmaid dress, using my mother's wedding dress to make handkerchiefs as gifts for my bridal party, altering my wedding dress and putting my veil on a comb.
