FIVE STARS! We love Spring Glen Cleaners here at the Yale Divinity School Office of Development. They are the only dry cleaner we use. We host a wide variety of receptions, dinners, & special events throughout the school year, which means we go through a lot of table linens. Spring Glen picks up & delivers (super convenient), & our items always come back spotlessly clean & pressed, with just the right amount of starch. Spring Glen's non-chemical, organic dry cleaning aligns with Yale Divinity School's commitment to eco-friendly & green practices that help the environment. Some of us in the Development Office use Spring Glen for our own personal dry cleaning. I dropped off a very stained, delicate bridesmaid dress that came back better than new. As an added bonus, my dress smelled fresh & clean afterwards, instead of reeking of harsh chemicals. The owner, Sue, is always cheerful & reliable--an absolute pleasure to work with. Horrible experience. I brought in one of my favorite silk shirts because there was a stain on it. I checked my shirt before I left the cleaners and found that not only was the stain still there but there was now a long snag located on the front. This expensive shirt was ruined. The woman at registered denied that they did anything. Why would I dry clean a shirt with a long snag? She said she would give me a $20 store credit. I did not accept, why would I chance another expensive article of clothing getting ruined? She said that was all she could do. She did not even reimburse me for the dry cleaning of the shirt... Which by the way still smelled of my perfum.

I love Spring Glen Cleaners. Not only do they clean every last stain (seriously - stains that have resided on sweaters and jackets and shirts for ages and that seem to appear there regularly because I have two young boys), but they also repair holes, shorten pants, fix areas my dog has chewed. And, they are so nice - so welcoming every time I come in. I've been an avid fan for the past 5 years (ever since we moved here and I discovered them). I LOVE that they are more environmentally friendly. And, they are always timely. Can't recommend them enough. In 5 years, I've literally never had a bad (or even mediocre) experience at Spring Glen Cleaners.

I've been using this cleaner for over a year with no issues. She is courteous, professional, and they've followed my instructions on starch level and collar perfectly. Further, they have done minor alterations for me and my wife. All work has been great, and always with a smile.

Just had a very bad experience there. They have lost pants from my suit and denied everything blaming me that I "lost" them while carrying from my car, etc. Extremely unprofessional. No refund offered.

Worst place ever. Brought suit to be cleaned and pants to be hemmed for wedding I was going to. Put pants on and sure enough they were not done. Couldn’t wear to the wedding. Brought back the next day to have them fixed. Women running the place said that they did them. The pants I brought back were different pants. She basically said that I was a liar. I wish I read the reviews above before I went to this place. These people are real scumbags.

This is the best dry cleaner I have ever been to. I moved and I still make the trip back to get my clothes done here. They always make my clothes look brand new. They remove all stains, sew holes, remove all pull and stitching. They are organic so my clothes never fade or irritate my skin after a cleaning. I can’t recommend Spring Glen enough. You will save so much money bc your clothes will last a life time with their services.

I have used this cleaner twice. First time, a button up shirt had a stain on the front, that had to be dry cleaned, to get out. Picked up the shirt with the stain still visible. Was told "couldn't get out." Took the shirt to another dry cleaners and they somehow were able to remove the stain. Second time was six weeks ago. I brought my medium size rug to be cleaned. Each week after I was told to come back "next week" because it wasn't done. Two weeks ago, I was told "it is missing. I'll call you next week. If not found, I give you fifty dollar credit." No phone call. Walked in today to "still missing rug". I denied the $50.00 credit because I feel this was handled unprofessionally and do not trust my items here. The man at the counter tried to hand me a $10.00 bill. Denied the cash offer and walked out. Understand not every business is perfect and things happen but every business should know how to handle their mistakes in a professional manner with better communication.

This is the dry cleaner I've been waiting years to find! No more chemicals, hanging clothes for days to get rid of the smell, or fear of bad effects of wearing them against my skin. They get my clothes perfectly clean and expertly pressed! They've gotten stains out of linen tablecloths that I'd thought were no longer useful! And their tailoring is expert as well. It's a delight to have them nearby!
