We are so happy with Shim's! They take extra care and pay close attention to dry cleaning and tailoring. I also like that the work is done onsite and not sent away. After going to another cleaner in the area and feeling that their work was subpar with extremely high prices, it is refreshing to receive consistent laundering with a smile every time! The customer service here has been excellent.

I wish I could give 0 stars for the customer service I experienced. I never give reviews but I came to this cleaner to get a pair of mens slacks cleaned and pressed. The pants were not very expensive so I had sticker shock when they told me it would be $7.50. But I agreed and left. Like most people, life got in the way and I forgot about the pants for a few months and when I went to pick them up, the woman told me with a blank stare that they are probably not there anymore. So I asked what she meant. She told me after a few months they remove older items. Mind you, there are clear empty spaces clothes can fill, and there was no one else waiting in the shop but still she didn't bother to look for them and she didn't apologize once. I cannot comment on there work bc I never got the pants but I will never go back!

I went to Shim's based on these reviews. The first time they were very accommodating and did my clothes the next day. They came out great! The second time I went, one of my plaid shirts bled all over - unwearable. The owner told me about it when I picked it up, which I appreciated, and offered not to charge me for the cleaning of it. What about the cost of the shirt ? He could of at least comp me the cost of that day's cleaning - a big $15 dollars. If I go back is another shirt going to be ruined at my expense.
