Miranda does the best alterations in town. I am an executive so I often dress up for my work. To begin with I brought Miranda 2 suits. She did an outstanding job then I came back with several more that needed adjustments. I am so grateful I found this lady. People think I buy $1000+ suits. The truth is I buy nice suits at affordable price and bring them here and let her do the magic. She’s the best!

Price is fair, work is good but NEVER on time. Left my clothes months in advance and called 1 week prior to event date-didn't have it ready. This happened numerous times. No point in having clothes tailored if I can't wear it for the specific occasion.

I have hesitated writing this review because I didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings but each time I pull out the 3 pairs of pants I had hemmed I cannot help but feel frustrated that I did not go right back to the shop after getting home and seeing the work. It was almost 2 years ago in the spring and I chalked it up to “prom season” possibly affecting the quality of work or possibly assistants helping with some of the jobs rather than the owner. This is the only time I had brought things to this shop. After I got home and pulled out the pants to get a look, I couldn’t believe my eyes. The fabric chalk marks were still on, pants were not pressed, not even a matching or closely matching color thread was used, and finally the hem broke on one of the pants after one time of wearing! The hem was loose from the get go. In fact, usually hems do not catch fabric so that they can be seen from outside layer but some parts did which is why I haven’t even worn the other two because they looks sloppy and unprofessional now. Again, I’d rather leave good reviews but felt compelled to be honest about my experience. Very disappointing because I try to support local businesses. I would not recommend this shop. The price was comparable to others. Again, nothing personal and I’ve heard good reviews about this place which is why I tried it.

Very reasonably priced compared to other people I've used! Just be sure to give yourself enough time - she gets busy and sometimes needs an extra few days to finish the job. Call the day before and check if it will actually be done before you go pick it up. But as long as you build that time in, worth it for the price for sure.

Miranda always does a wonderful job! She is very hardworking, efficient and tailors all clothing items exactly as requested. She has never disappointed. Her work speaks for itself! I will always seek Miranda for my tailoring needs. I highly recommend Miranda's Tailor Shop!

The Elevated Empress

The owner apparently couldn't not grasp the concept of my fiancé and I are having two separate weddings! She assumed I wasn't serious and put my FIRST WEDDING DRESS EVER on the back burner and constantly came up with excuses as to why my dress is not ready on the agreed date! Moral of this rant I will never give this facility my business again being a resident of Cheshire you adapt a certain moral of which you expect no matter what door you walk in. Very displeased......

Miranda is a great tailor I've taken all my suits and my wife takes all her clothes there too! She is busy, and that's a great indicator of a great service. People know where to go for quality work and fair prices, hard combination to find.

What was once an example of fine tailoring was destroyed by Miranda. Only partially removed the faux buttonhole threads! Reapplied the cuff buttons haphazardly! Now this blazer is a total EMBARRASSMENT to wear at a conference table. No attention to detail. A total hack, I wouldn’t let her patch pair jeans.
