Bought basic tulle veil for my friend. It cost about $300.00. It came out as asked, so that part was acceptable. However, it was the blah, and borderline rude attitude of the experience that ruined the gift giving to my friend. Don't be in bridal end of tailoring business if you can't be at least happy for other people. Gosh, at least smile!

Flavia's tailoring destroyed my best friends wedding dress, and 2 bride's maid dresses. The bride was told she couldn't try the dress on after her final fitting because it had been steamed. She had to find an emergency tailor the day before her wedding (who was a saint!!) When we confronted the tailor at Flavia's she completely dismissed me, she imidiatly became aggressive and owned no responsibility to her mistakes. I would not recommend using Flavia's especially for your wedding dress.

I had Pina alter my wedding dress. It cost about $250 which was a little more than the other seamstresses I had spoken too. The length was done perfect. She did a pretty good job altering the top. Her turn around time was very quick. She held the dress for me until the day before my wedding so she could hand press the wrinkles out. I have used her for hemming pants in the past. She does good work and I would use her again.

I had a poor experience here. I do not recommend. I asked for a quote on a bridal gown alteration and was not treated well as it became more clear to them that I was not going make a decision that day. It is already stressful picking a tailor for a wedding dress. And the cost is always shocking. It was not a feel good experience and I was not treated with respect or courtesy at the end of my visit. I felt more like a number than a person or bride. This exciting time in my life deserves more than Flavia's Tailoring & Bridal. I do believe they would have done a fine job on my dress, however I dont want to spend money or time with a company that does not respect its customers and is not excited about making someone's wedding day special. Less than 1 star. Do not recommend. Do not trust the outdated yelp reviews.

Would have given zero stars. WAY over priced. In fact the woman proceeded to argue with my wife after being questioned that a 2" hem costs the same amount as the cost of the pants. When my wife remarked that it was a ridiculous price, the woman said we were wasting her time. Here is a tip for those looking for one - Don't waste YOUR time and money. A good alterations place is hard to find and I cannot comment on her work. Do yourself a favor and get some quotes before committing to alteration work from this business.

I was disappointed by my experience when I went to this shop. I was blindsided by the cost of alterations. I admit I dropped a huge ball by not asking before the lady started pinning. I whispered to my mother and mother in law the cost and they were shocked! When my mother in law tried to ask Pina questions about the cost and what needs to be done and she was so rude! She had an attitude with every question they asked! my "moms" were just trying to get an understanding and comments from Pina were, " you can come in and watch them sew its so much work, you don;t understand..." They were trying to understand! This went on for 40 minutes!!!!!! It got to the point that I yelled over everyone and said, "enough! I will pay for alterations!" Then, in my WEDDING DRESS that I waited 6 months to even see, CRIED because of the disrespect in that room. Pina talked to me and said I should make the decision on my own without their help essentially. How could a woman say that? They are my family! Of course I would listen to them! All in all, the other woman who pinned my dress was so sweet and great but the owner is rude. You can tell she has been sewing wedding dresses for years and is tired of her job. Their was no excitement for the bride and the dress. Just kept going on about how much work this dress will be. HORRIBLE experience. Did not end up having her complete the alterations.

I went to Flavia's and dealt with Pina when I needed a dress shortened within 48 hours and she was able to do it for me and it was perfect. I ended up having her also alter a couple pieces for me for my wedding and she and her coworker were kind and treated me with respect and genuine caring. I was happy with the work, the price and Tina. I will definitely be going back when I need additional tailoring.

If I could give 0 stars I would. She wouldn't let me try my bridal gown on before leaving. I got to MA where my wedding is (tomorrow). And noticed she ruined my dress I am now rushing around and have to pay to have it completely re altered. This is ridiculous I'm so upset and hurt that she literally ruined my wedding dress

I was very nervous going to Flavia's based on a few reviews, but Pina and her team took care of me and my dress and it came out amazing. My dress was ordered way too big by my bridal salon, and Pina managed to take my dress in a total of EIGHT inches and keep it looking like the same dress I fell in love with. Thank you so much!

I've been to Flavia's a few time over the years and all I can say is they save my ass in the biggest way. I brought them an impossible wedding dress and Pina worked so hard on it and made it wonderful. Then I brought her a dress that I had tried to hem myself and cut too short. "Hi, I need this today, and I cut it too short." Seriously. But once again Pina worked her magic and off I was in a beautifully hemmed dress.

I was extremely disappointed at my experience with this shop. When I came in to pick up my wedding dress, I asked to try it on and had my aunt with me from out of state who purchased my dress for me. I wanted to show it to her first and Pina was so extremely rude. She refused to let me try it on and said it would wrinkle, which is understandable but I was not comfortable leaving the store with my wedding the next day without having tried it on one last time to be sure it fit. She finally rushed me to a fitting room while mumbling under her breath and threw the dress on me. I was so upset that the experience was ruined for myself and my family. After putting the dress on, she THEN realized that she had not created the bustle yet, and if I had not tried it on, that would have been missed. After all of that commotion, the bustle fell out three times during my wedding. She was kind to us in the beginning and once we had paid she obviously didnt care any more. I would NEVER use this shop again or recommend them to anyone.
