Wish I could write a happy review, but I would not want another bride to have to go through the same experience as I had here. I was referred to this location from Everthine Bridal Boutique to have my wedding gown altered. To start, the prices are outrageous, for a hem, to let out sides less than an inch and a small lace removal on a simple/pIain gown I was quoted initially $900. The price was graciously reduced to $600. After the first fitting, I brought up some concerns over fit and I was told to not tell her "how to do my job" and that "brides come from all over to have the dress fit the way it does". I was also told that if I called the boutique where I purchased the gown with any complaints she "would not do the alterations". After the second fitting, the dress fit even worse and truly looked like a loose sack. My mother in law brought up concerns and was given the same defensive replies. I decided that I was going to stop alterations at this location and requested to take my dress. I was told "it is against the law" and after I agrued that point I was told "it is against the contract". After re-reading the contract in front of Lena I pointed out there is nothing in the contract that prohibits me taking my own dress. I was then provided a blank sheet of paper and requested to write on my own why I was taking the gown. The lack of craftsmanship, professionalism and outrageous prices is hopefully enough to deter brides. It is unnecessary stress to have to unfortunately deal with this business. I was able to find someone who salvaged the gown, had to completely un-stitch and re-sew, hem, and add beautiful lace details all to make it fit perfectly for a very reasonable price!
