I've had a few pants hemmed and a suit tailored here. No complaints!

I truly appreciate your response. I deleted my old comment and updated my review because I felt it was unnecessary and I felt worse after anyway. I will try to stop in soon to remedy the pants that are too long still, I won’t be in town for the till after the holiday so I’ll be in touch soon.

I live in Denver and I go to Sew Good to get clothes altered and repaired. I've had countless suits and shirts altered there and they've done a terrific job each and every time. Highly recommend.

These guys are fantastic. I dropped the ball and needed some pants hemmed very quickly. They very graciously made it happen. Please support this business, they are both excellent at their craft and customer service.

Very friendly staff. I've had several pieces altered here and in each case have had to either take the item back in for fixing or I have taken the item elsewhere. In my experience, anything beyond hemming has been poorly done. Examples: I had a dress taken in and the seams actually came apart the day I planned to wear it! This was a velvet dress I took back to be fixed after a failed 1st attempt. I had pants taken in, but when I went to pick up they were still too loose. I had a dress hem taken up, but ended up taking it elsewhere because not enough length was taken off and I couldn't deal with another disappointment. I have not been back since.

I'm very hard on my jeans and Sew Good has done a fantastic job over the years salvaging my denim. Their patches are very sturdy and blend nicely into the fabric of the pants. I've also had pants hemmed and various repairs done here. The ladies up front are always helpful and friendly. Great work.

I was looking for a place to repair a hole in a sweater. They did a great job and it was at an affordable price. I needed immediate turn-around and they got it done same-day (with a $2 rush fee). I will go back for any alteration needs I have in the future!

I was in a bind needing button holes on my shirt for my wedding and they were very accommodating and understanding. I’m very excited to see their work and bring several other items in the near future for tailoring!! All together a very pleasant experience. Thank you!

I've been going to Sew Good for alterations for years, for both personal and business-related alterations (I own Rags Consignments, and we refer people to them often), always happy with the work they do, the turnaround time and the customer service.

I took my dress to get it altered to Boulder Custom Tailoring and they were going to charge me $350!! I thought I would try to get another quote and I am so glad I did. Sew Good told me S$65, and this was for a rush service! In fact, their idea on how to alter the dress was much better than Boulder Custom because it didn't cut through the lace pattern. Sew Good also suggested I get some length taken off of the bottom and they changed the strap positions. In the end Sew Good worked more on my dress and charged a fraction of the price. Customer service was great and I am very please with the quality of work. Affordable, friendly and great quality, this is the place I will be recommending to my friends and family.

Jillian is helpful, friendly, and FANTASTIC. The gal who answered the phone and made me feel like I had found my life-saving shop was wonderful, too. I needed some clothing repairs and alterations done within a day or two. I'd come up frustrated after trying several already. Unlike almost every other shop in town, at Sew Good they won't tell you, "We can't do that -- we need more time..." or "Next Monday, at the earliest..." or "We don't really do 'rush' orders..." At Sew Good, you'll hear, "When do you need it by?" and you'll see the most gracious, lovely smiles. Yes, Miracles can and do happen here! Their smooth, efficient service, large in-house staff, generous hours, and 'we'll drop everything to help you in your need' vibe and cheerful attitude make you feel your precious clothes are in good hands. I can't say enough Praise for this life-saving place! Thanks, Jillian! I never had it SO GOOD before!

I regularly bring in dress clothes for alteration and repair. They've done jeans, suit pants, jackets, whatever. It usually takes a week, but prices are reasonable and they've always reworked a piece that was not to my satisfaction. Overall, great service.

I have never written a review before, but this place called me bodily injury, so I figured they were asking for it. I have been to this place three times. All three times they have done a poor job or ruined a garment, but I kept going back because there are so few other alterations places in Boulder that I trust. The first time, my dress came back with stains on it, which I noticed in the store and they would not take responsibility for. The second time, I brought a dress in to be hemmed - simple enough. The dress has a flap on the front (the opening runs vertically from my waist down to the hem) which is decorative and attached at the hem. When I took the dress home to try it on, I noticed the flap wasn't hanging right - it should hang flat but it had a ripple on it. I realized the tailor had started sewing the flap ONTO THE FRONT OF THE DRESS and then just stopped. Never went back to undo it. So I was 20 minutes late for my dinner because I had to go upstairs and meticulously take out all of the thread she had used to sew it on. This last time, I had a pencil skirt taken in. There is a slit at the back where the hem is that goes up about two and a half inches, as there is on most skirts. At work today I knelt down to talk to my boss, who was seated at his desk, and knelt in a way you would in a skirt, with your legs together, sitting on your heels. All of a sudden I felt a sharp stinging in my upper thing and stood up. I PULLED A PIN OUT OF MY THIGH. A pin she had carelessly left in. It was stuck into my leg about a quarter of an inch, and the pin is sewn into the hem of the dress, so there is no way to remove it without undoing 35 dollars worth of work I paid her for. DO NOT GO HERE! I have absolutely NO IDEA why it is so highly rated. The woman isn't friendly, either, and has done a poor job on three garments. I guess I'll have to start making the trip to Broomfield or Westminster.

Crashed my bike while I was wearing my favorite skinsuit -- brought it to Sew Good Alterations after getting recommendations from other cyclists and they did a fantastic job patching the holes and charged me next to nothing. Definitely recommend it for cyclists.

I did not have a problem with the alteration itself, only the customer service. Left my item on Wednesday, was told 1 week for the job to get done. 9 days later & still no word. It was obvious they forgot about me. I Called to find out what happened & employee stated “I didn’t write down the date u left the item here & didn’t know U wanted a call back.” A callback is The LEAST I expected. They did absolutely nothing to make it right. I got a “sorry” when I picked my item up but it did not make the situation any better only more irritating.
