I used to take my alterations to a lady in Longmont, but she did not alter my things the way I wanted her to & then she would keep my stuff for up to a month. So I decided it was time for a change. Vince did a great job on my skirts & he did them in a timely fashion at a very reasonable price. Needless to say He's my new guy! Thanks Vince! Absolutely 5 stars!!!

I can't describe how wonderfully talented Nora McCray is. She and I collaborated on the design of my wedding gown from start to finish. The result was a custom fit silk Dupioni gown that was so comfortable and light the entire night. I would recommend Nora's services to all of my friends and family. We had a dress with silk lining taken in at the waist and darts repositioned: $48. Has another dress hemmed- just the back as it was a kind of bias cut so not even all the way around ... and I made the mistake of not asking the cost (I assumed the price would be reasonable since the first dress was relatively reasonable). I was absolutely shocked when, at pick up, the price was an outrageous $140. For a hem. I wouldn’t have paid that much for Cinderella’s mice friends to handmake the entire dress before my very eyes, let alone a hem.

I had very little time to have a bridesmaid dress altered and Vince was so kind to help me out and not only that, but did a beautiful job altering my dress. I normally use a tailor in longmont and love her. However, I procrastinated and needed a dress hemmed for my daughter within 2 weeks. Ran by my normal tailor who wasn't in, so I thought I would try someone else since I was in a time crunch. I took the dress over to this store and had it pinned to be hemmed. I should have asked for the price first. I then asked how much the alteration would be and was told it would be $60 or $70. I thought that was out of line for a minor hem on a dress, but it is what it is. However, I also thought it was very strange that he would not tell me an exact price. I pressed him on the issue asking him if he could tell me if it was $60 or $70 and he said he could not. I immediately knew that when I returned to get the dress the price would be higher. I also knew that if I didn't pay whatever price was asked of me, my dress would not be returned. I asked him if I could pay before leaving and he told me that I would pay when I picked it up. When I returned one week later, the price indeed had gone up to $75. I asked for a receipt when I paid and was told they don't normally do that. I've been trying to think of how I could've handled it differently not to get cheated. I can't think of a way. I should've taken my dress and kept looking and so should you. Go elsewhere.

Nora and Judy were incredible! The wedding store ordered my dress in the wrong size and Nora and Judy fit me into their busy schedule so that it was ready for my wedding. They literally rebuilt the dress, and it was stunning! They were a pleasure to work with and are amazing at what they do. I wouldn't go anywhere else! They even came in the weekend of the flood in order to finish it and get it to me. I got married the weekend after the flood.
