I had bought a pair of used Nine West leather boots online only to discover that the calves were too wide for me. So I took them to Nu Shoe Repair to see if they could make them narrower. Even though this is probably not something they get asked to do very often, the great people at Nu Shoe Repair gladly took on the challenge. They did a fabulous job! The boots look amazing.

Very pleased with the service! I found an incredible pair of genuine leather boots at a thrift store for dirt cheap and was obsessed, but the heel eventually popped off. I called a few places for quotes and couldn't justify paying 5-8X more than what I paid for the boots themselves just to get them fixed. They quoted me $20-30 at Nu Shoe. I picked them up and the cobbler had apparently misunderstood that I only wanted the heal sewed/glued back on. He had done that AND re-souled each heel. They stayed true to their quote and still only charged me $20 even though it would have been more for making both heels look like new again Also, the woman working there was super friendly. I'm definitely going to be back with other clothes/shoes I need fixed!

Had an unusual request to alter and sew a nylon handgun holster. Took it into their shop, showed them what I needed, they said no problem and I picked it up on the day they said it would be done. They did a great job and I would use them again

Let me first say that their attentiveness and willingness to help was outstanding. The patches we got put onto my son's Young Marines uniform were very well attached. That said, charging $50 for 5 patches is highway robbery. My wife thought that he had said "fifteen" dollars which is roughly what we paid for them when we lived in North Carolina, but in fact he had said "fifty" and ran the card as such. She was ashamed for allowing this to happen and in her shock she left without taking it back. I will probably end up just doing them on my own in the future. USACleaners over in the Meadows only charges $5 per patch. We will never go back. When I picked it up I asked him about the rate and he lied to me, stating that every other shop in town charges $15-20 per patch. All I know is that this won't happen again.
