I came into Janny's today since the other places had horrible reviews. The great thing was, by far I was NOT disappointed! I was beyond pleased. I needed a dress done the same day because it was a size far too big. I was so happy I found her. It was done within an hour and she even helped the top part in a bit because the manufacturer of the dress made the top trim stick out way too far. Also the price was pretty awesome, and she was very friendly and helpful. She also has like 30 years of experience and doesn't charge an express fee. I'm very happy with the work.

Really hit or miss with this shop. She completely failed to make my ASU jacket fit and I had to take it to a different tailor. She does however, do a good job on ASU skirts

We had a great experience at this shop. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because she forgot a couple pieces to fix on the pants. She very quickly fixed the issue and was polite and friendly the whole time! My boyfriend and I are celebrating our fifth anniversary this week and wanted to go to a nice dinner, but his suit needed some attention. We came from out of town and needed things done in a couple of days. She got them done quickly and very well. Thank you very much for the great service. I will happily recommend you to any friends in town that may need a tailor!

Fixed Myrna's horrible job. Go here for military stuff, if you want it done right the first time. Myrna put my occupational badge on inside out and put girls stripes on a man's uniform. This is my new alterations business! And did the stripes/repairs on the spot!

Really disappointed....i went in for a dress to be tailored . The lady told me it was ugly and I should go buy a new dress...really disappointed. Especially considering my dress was a vintage hand me down from my grandma. Really upset. She said to buy a new dreas and come back.

Janny always takes care of everything I need, and the way I want it done. The prices are fair, but the service is outstanding and the results are exactly what they should be. I have been there for multiple military uniforms, and my brand new suit. The turn around time on the tailoring is also amazing.

Went in this week with 3 pair of Jean's to get patches on. A lady came to counter..1rst pair said no ..that the RIP was too far?? 2nd pair was the holey trend jean..she said o but this will cost too much $10 / patch..had 6 quarter size areas I only wanted iron on patches, third was small one inch repair only one she agreed to do, I had a corset..I wanted bra..stitch onto . She rudely grabbed the bra and tossed back my way and did i no do bras.!!!!! Worthless shop, rude employee/owner. Never have I went into a tailor/alteration shop and had this kind of unproffessionalism!!!

So far, Janny has quickly & perfectly tailored one uniform, one jacket, and two suits of mine. I won't go to anyone else for alterations. Her prices are reasonable, and she genuinely cares about her customer base. Whenever I've come to her with a challenging or time-constrained alteration, she's skillfully worked through it.

She's expensive and picky about what she wants to work on. At one point, she complained about how much work I had brought her. Who complains about work in an economy like this one? On another note, her work is good, but she seems to be skilled in hems and buttons. Big jobs are not for her.

From previous reviews I can only guess Janny's talent lies in sewing on buttons or patches. Took a very elaborate dress to her to have the hem shortened and some of the material at the front to be unpinned and moved slightly. She 'hem'd and haw'd' while she looked over the dress, then just looked at me blankly and said "maybe that's the way it's supposed to look". I had already explained even in heels I couldn't take a step in any direction as I was stepping on material. Again she looked uninterested, shrugged and said it was just too big a job for her to do in the 2weeks alotted. I've done some seamstress work in the past, if I had the tools I would do it myself, but I know shortening material, hemming it and moving a couple of ruffles around takes a couple of days maximum, and that's if you're also working on other projects at the same time. Janny just didn't seem interested in the challenge. Made an appointment with another tailor in town who said 'nothing is too challenging to make you look fantastic'. More the response I was expecting from a tailor with 30years experience, as it says under Janny's shop sign. I'll try my luck elsewhere and won't recommend business her way.

Ruined two pairs of my jeans. Wouldn't do what I asked when I wanted both pairs hemmed. She insisted she knew what she was doing when she obviously didn't. Even a simple patch on a small hole in one of the jeans ended up looking ridiculous when she was done. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Edit: Changed from one to two stars because she gave me a partial refund.

I was not happy with how the clothes turned out and it was way too expensive for the crap job that was done. I asked earlier in the appt how much it would cost but she was zoned out on pinning me. My outfit looks like it was half assed. How hard is it to hem pants and make them the same length. One leg is about half an inch to an inch longer than the other leg. I refuse to take it back because I dont want it messed up more. I have to wear it as is tonight and hope no one notices. I do not recommend this place. It is way too expensive for poor work

She was able to sew on some patches for us within a couple of hours (we needed them done by the same evening). Then she hemmed some pants in less than 24 hours with no complaints. Her work is impeccable and she's really nice. Highly recommend.
