Phenomenal work! I brought my bohemian dress in -- asked to take the middle in (bohemian style dresses are very baggy)... because it didn't have a seam in the back, she added a pleat. It turned out wonderfully! Fits me perfect. The pleat is very flattering and adds a nice volume. And for only $25! Will definitely visit again for my tailoring needs!

I don't understand how this place is still in business. They don't tell you prices until it's too late, they're way overpriced. They give you a time of 2 weeks before something is done and it's still not ready, they haven't even touched it. Their web presence says they opened at 8:00 a.m. no one is there no one is answering phones. This would be a great place to open a talior/dry cleaners. Go across the street for tailor needs or down the street for dry cleaning needs.

For a small business owner, she's not very nice, I gave her a few chances, chalked it up to maybe a cultural difference- we used to use her for tailoring at Banana Republic, but I will never go back after how I was treated today. Funny enough I was telling my husband how I felt after my experience today and he said "I thought the same thing when I dropped my pants off there a while ago, why did you send me here?"

*Update* I used Hilda's for my wedding dress alterations in Oct 2017, she and her team did a wonderful job, so quickly and for a reasonable rate. She did everything I requested and was able to pick my dress up weeks in advance to the wedding. She is my go to tailor for anything now. Original Post: I brought in my Bridesmaid dress for alterations. I could not be more happy and pleased with the work they did on my dress. I needed the bodice brought in and the seam of the skirt let out. They were able to complete the alterations quickly and for a very reasonable rate. Their hours are "job" friendly, I don't have to leave work early just to pick things up. Thank you Hilda and team for the spectacular work on my dress!

I got a bridesmaid dress shortened here, and it was very cost effective and easy to deal with. The woman who helped me took the measurements she needed and when I asked when it would be done, she replied asking me when I wanted it to be done, and when I answered, she said "done." That's customer service! Obviously it wasn't an unreasonable deadline, so I'm sure that she didn't rush, and it came out great.

Gave it 5 stars for a reason. I've taken blazers in to get a little more fitted and pants in to get tapered. I am always pleasantly surprised at how well they fit following the alterations. Dry cleaning service is great, too. If you need any alterations or clothes dry cleaned I would definitely recommend Hilda's Tailor & Cleaners.

I have been using Hilda's for almost 20 years and though I don't often need a tailor, when I do I know exactly where to go to get it done perfectly. Our latest experience was to shorten a dress and the work was exquisite. Don't trust your important tailor work to anyone else!
