My wife needed a dress hemmed here, and I went along with her to the consultation. It has a really class feel to the store, and the tailors seem to be very knowledgeable and experienced. I remember the final price being a bit high, so if you are looking for the cheapest possible place to get a pair of pants hemmed or the like, you might want to get a quote here, but I feel their prices are warranted given the quality of their work.

Way overpriced. I had two skirts worked on. The first was brought in 1". The second had a button hole and a ripped hem fixed. Because these were small repairs/alterations with basic sewing required, I expected to pay ~$20. I was overcharged at $70 (more than both skirts even cost)! Although the sewing was done well, I will definitely not be returning.

It took Erol all of 3 minutes to measure me up for the “slim fit” off the rack name brand suit hanging off me. When I got it back the pant length and waist were perfect, and the V shaped jacket followed my shape perfectly. On top of that they are friendly and very professional. Despite tricky parking this is the only place I will bring mine and my wife's clothes for alterations. Based on other great reviews, I decided to entrust Erol with the tailoring of my wedding suit. I was not disappointed. He handled the delicate Italian fabrics with care and expertise and turned a great suit into something that looked like it was made for my body specifically. For those who have never had a tailored suit, you must give Erol the chance to turn that "off the rack" pile of rags, into a sculpted, acutely-professional garment to wear with pride.

They were ready in the said time frame and overall, I was very happy with the service. Parking can be a bit difficult but that is expected with any downtown location. Erol and his wife are the nicest people! My fiance and I walked in on a Saturday mid-morning and were helped right away. It's a homey, family-owned business, blissfully out of place in the midst of Cherry Creek. They helped brainstorm creative ideas for how to alter his suit on a budget, and volunteered a more inexpensive option. My fiance's vest and suit jacket were tailored in a week and half and now fit like a dream. Price was extremely reasonable. We will definitely be going back for all of our tailoring needs!

Dishonest!!! This place had my bridesmaid dress for 3 weeks. When I picked it up I didn't notice they had not completed the job (I guess I shouldn't be so trusting). They proceeded to let me pay for the whole job and leave. Later I realized the bottom wasn't hemmed and the chalk marks were still on it. I had to pay again for another alteration, plus a rush fee, at another place the day before the wedding.....in another state! They had another bridesmaid dress of mine for another wedding that they also didn't complete and said "they couldn't make it small enough to fit me" isn't that the point of altering things?

Way overpriced!!! They seemed to know what they are doing however they are extremely overpriced! It was a simple alteration on a dress and they wanted to charge me $116.00. I am glad I asked for a quote otherwise they would have just charged me when I picked it up. I left and went somewhere else for same exact work and it was only $38.00. Huge rip off in my opinion! Terribile Experience. DO NOT GO HERE. I had an extremely easy hem on a sun dress. I needed the strap to get altered in less than an inch and he charged me $48. When I dropped it off he said it was an easy fix and it would be around $14. I do not recommend. Never going back

Wonderful experience by a family that genuinely cares about how you feel and how you look. I walked in on an early Saturday and, upon realizing I had actually walked in the back entrance, was warmly greeted by Erol's entire team as they were tailoring other garments. Erol and his wife both worked with me as I explained what I was hoping for. When I returned a few weeks later and tried on my outfit, Erol made me feel like a million bucks. "You look Shaaahp!" he kept saying. I felt sharp, too, and felt so good about the price as well ($82 for some extensive alterations to a vest and pants). Can't wait to get married in a few weeks, and thanks to Erol's team I LOVE my outfit!

I came in with a rather unorthodox request: I needed alterations done on my Ghostbusters uniform! I'm aiming to create a look as film-accurate as possible and I really needed some help. Flight suits aren't really made to fit female bodies, and mine was very large and baggy on me. Erol asked great questions about how much I wanted to move around in the uniform and made sure I had room without sacrificing the shape of the suit. When I got it back, he had even secured the patches better so that they wouldn't fall off during a photo shoot. The price was also incredibly reasonable. This was my first time requesting an alteration and so I wasn't sure what to expect. But the cost fell well into my budget and the craftsmanship was lovely and durable. Wonderful people, wonderful results, I can't wait to come back!

Maybe I went to a different Erols in Cherry Creek? I just had a horrible, miserable experience. Got there and waited at the counter while a lady was fitted in her dress, which took about five minutes. When she went into the dressing room, another lady came out and was seen to first. This took a few minutes while they got the card to work and wrapped the dress up in plastic. Then the other lady, who was being fitted when I came in, came out and was ushered to the counter. Their conversation about the dress, payment and wrapping took another five minutes. During this time, another man came in. So Erol came out. Now, all this time I'm ok with this disorganized process, even though I've been standing there for ~15min and haven't even been acknowledged. Erol helps the next man, who steps in front of me, without even looking at me. His wife is still helping the lady with the alterations when another man comes in and, without even looking at me, Erol says hello and helps him next. I let them know I'd been waiting now for 20 min and not once was I even acknowledged. The alterations I wanted to do--shorten two straps on a tank top--cost more than the tank top. Crazy expensive and, if you're not a regular, be prepared to be passed over by rude clientele, which is a shame, because the owners were polite and professional.

Erol is always welcoming and glad to see you. He is the most professional tailor I have ever worked with. No matter what you throw at him he has the skill and expertise to solve the problem. I have had suits tailored to fit better, pants hemmed, shirts taken in so they look like custom shirts and many other requests. He always does a great job and gets it right the first time. I highly recommend him. Parking is a bit challenging at times but it is worth the small hassle to get the best tailor in town.

When I called the man on the phone first denied that no work had been done, then said to bring it back in, even after I told him several times that the wedding had already occurred and I no longer needed the dress hemmed. Had a suit altered by some guy (not Erol or the family) who seemed extremely disinterested, quiet, and had very little discussion. Basically had to ask him about taking some out of the pants which were clearly baggy to anyone who is under 50 years old. When I came back to pick up, my bill was $144. The guy did not mention that taking it in at the chest was going to be a $70 job. Won't be back.

Friendly, fast, and high quality. As soon as I walked in, Mr. Erol greeted me like a longtime friend and opened the door for me on my way out. I asked if they didn't mind rushing this for me, and two hours later I received a confirmation text that they were done. And the quality of the work was impeccable.

WE NEED BETTER SERVICE in USA

It was a NIGHTMARE. I agreed to cover $300 fee for alteration of a brand new 2K designer gown so I don't have to worry about the outcome. I was shocked when I came for the fitting and it did not close on me! We measured all twice and I was very specific about my request. Yet they cut it out almost 5 EXTRA INCHES!!! Apart from that the structure was crooked, stitches were wavy and there was a stain of blood or else on the lining. That is not what you expect paying $300 fee! They promised to fix everything and have it ready for the event. When I came there again it was the same story. Only 10 times worse. And the dress cracked on the seam during the fitting. It was clear to me that it was ultimately ruined. I was asking for them to cover the damage, on what Erol responded with nonsense lies about not even making those changes to the dress, and her husband would offend me directly and personally. When I mentioned suing them she made up a scene to publicly embarrass me and scare me away. Then her husband would just ignore me for a long time expecting me to leave, while she was hiding in the backroom. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT CIVIL. I was not going to leave until the issue was resolved in a way. I agreed to give them another chance on fixing the gown and have them refund me for the service (cause nobody was gonna cover me the cost of the garment). The dress, of course, ripped on me right at the fancy wedding in Manhattan. I wish I'd never use their services.

Took my wedding dress here for alterations, could not be more pleased!! I had lost 20 lbs after purchasing my dress and they made it fit beautifully. The bust, waist, and hips had to be taken in, but my dress also has a huge bustle in the back that they were able to work with. Filiz showed me what they'd done to create a bustle I thought looked even better than the original way, and made it super easy for my honor attendant to pull it together. Their customer service is impeccable; no one who leaves opens the door themselves. Everyone is personally walked to the door with a smile. I saw some comments regarding price, and all I can say is I'm so happy with their hard work; it is worth EVERY penny. THANKS SO MUCH!! =D

Erol & Filiz are fantastic. The nicest people and the quality of the work is top notch. The upper end of the price spectrum ($14 to hem suit pants; $28 for complete shirt tailoring). Now you can get that shirt that is too bulky (but you just love otherwise!) and have them make it fit just right. There is no wheelchair access up front but you should be able to squeeze through the cars to the back door. I'll be bringing all of my tailoring needs here.

I had forgotten about my horrible experience at Erol's until I was recently about to purchase an expensive raincoat at a store in Cherry Creek Mall. The shoulders needed to be taken out a bit and the sales woman assured me that they use a great tailor, Erol, he could do that. Well this changed my mind about the coat because I spent a small fortune over the years at Erol's until one day they ruined a red silk dress for which I paid around $100 (!!) in alterations. I saw the small holes in the dress where the buttons were relocated when I got home, and returned the next day to see if they could correct the problem or at least refund my money for the now-ruined dress. Erol's wife went on a long rant about what a high maintenance customer I am and how I am always asking for perfection and they spent many hours on this alteration, how dare I ask for a refund! I walked out in tears - no one has ever been so mean to me. That was several years ago and I have never returned and would never trust them with my garments again.

When I picked it up for a wedding I had that weekend, no work had been done and they refused to offer any sort of refund. I called the following week and they said I could bring it in and they could hem it, but the wedding had already happened and I ended up having to walk down the aisle holding my dress bunched to the side... I had very mixed experiences here. First time I visited, I was charged quite a bit but not an unreasonable amount and the work was well done. I returned to have 2 button holes added to 2 shirts (4 button holes total) and was charged $40 (double what I was initially quoted). The work was beyond sloppy - buttons were haphazardly placed (not even close to symmetrical) and barely secured. I lost all buttons on my first wear. I will not be returning.
