Barbie fixed my favorite velvet top that was torn close to the shoulder after an encounter with a nail sticking out of a wall. I can't even tell where the top was torn at, and she fixed it in such a timely manner. I will definitely be using her for all my alteration needs!

I've taken everything to Barbie's from my wedding dress to jeans, and she's always done a fabulous job! There's usually a two week turn-around so don't call her in a rush, but she's worth the wait! She's a sweet lady who will chat your ear off every time you see her. Highly recommended.

I read all the reviews that turn around was slow, so going in with that expectation I felt prepared and flexible. Called at 2.5 weeks, after the time frame given to me. She said the items weren’t completed, that she could have it finished over the weekend. I gave her two extra weeks past projected weekend hoping that it would be done. We are at 4 weeks and items have not been touched. I asked to collect my items and was offered to have them completed by tomorrow at no cost. I did not accept as I was not going to be a return customer and I believe an individual should be paid for their service. I did wonder why all of sudden could it be done today? Perhaps she is an amazing seamstress, I cannot review that part of service, but I would not run my own business this way especially with a new client. She is kind and was honest with me but if you choose to use her I would proceed with caution regarding time frames.

Barbie did an awesome job on my daughter’s wedding gown! She took up the straps, removed a flower bow, reinforced the zipper and hooks, and created a bustle!! It fits my daughter like a glove! She also hemmed the MOB gown. All of this in 2 weeks! She delivered right on time! We will be using her more in the future.

Amazing lady! Very sweet and she gets the job done. I dropped off my maternity dress on Wednesday and needed it by Saturday morning she finished it ahead of time and it fit perfect and guess what it was only $20! No rush fee! She always answers the phone when you call and again she finished in a timely manner!
