I couldn't be happier!!! I was hired by Lorna, owner of Alterations Inc. to do some work on her home and during a conversation about the importance of working hard as small business owners to take very good care of their customers, (Especially now, in this fragile economy) and a little feedback about the type of work she does….I knew immediately that Lorna and her skilled team at Alterations Inc. was exactly what I have been looking for! Many years now I have had trouble finding the in between sizes of both work & dress pants and consequently I have ruined hundreds of dollars worth in pants because they drag below the heal of my shoes, work boots and sneakers! She told me to bring the pants to her when I come back to finish the work on her house. We agreed on trading the cost of each others labor / services and it worked out to be very fair. She is so nice, caring and dedicated to her work that even after back surgery ( I learned later on) she took personal time at her home to measure the in seam length of my legs, (On several pairs of my pants!) Pined each one of the pants in the area to be hemmed and assured me that she will take care of it and all will turn out just fine. Yes! Now my pants fit perfectly, and I can wear them with confidence! Needless to say, Lorna of Alterations Inc. will be recommended to all my friends, family, business associates, etc., and she will be my clothing seamstress for now on! Thank you Lorna! Called and left a message to call me back. Called me two days later. Set an appointment Monday at 9:00 am. I told her I would be there 9:00 sharp! I was there 10 min. Before 9:00. Waited for her till 9:15 am. No Ava! Bad business- so sorry.... If I would have read the reviews first I never would have gone there. So it was a blessing for me! Thanks to those who leave reviews.

Had the same experience as most...overpriced and took way too long. They do not really offer same day service. The quality is good but not for the money..there are better options elsewhere.

I wanted patches sewn on the front of two hats and was charged 10 dollars per hat. I agreed at the time but thought it was a little steep. My assumptions were confirmed when I called another place down the road and was quoted 4 dollars a hat. I have not picked these up yet but unless they have sewn a 5 dollar bill to that hat I won't be going back again.

I regret not reading these reviews like I always do before visiting a business. The comment about the pictured lady is accurate. My gut said change your mind and find another seamstress but all I needed was a small 1 1/2 hole stitched into the bottom seat area of a baby carrier for my puppy’s Nub tail. I will update how the work quality goes and if her attitude changes in 24hrs. I hope she has a better day tomorrow. ....and there’s overhead running a business in these plazas.

Read the reviews, hey I can put up with a touch of attitude for a good job at a reasonable price was told it would take 10 days for just a hem. Attitude was appalling, customer service non existent... Just to do a hem up was going to charge $55. No just left. Went to alterations by Lena...will be ready tomorrow for $25.

The woman seen in the picture was the rudest person I have experienced in a long time. I felt as if I was bothering her by entering her establishment. The job she did for me was pretty good, but I WILL not return due to her sour and unprofessional attitude. WAY OVERPRICED.

I agree with most of the reviews on here. These people are waaaay overpriced and on top of that super rude. They have a kind of attitude about them like they're so put out and inconvenienced by their customers and by life itself. I wanted a backslit on a dress seen up. The slit was maybe 2 inches. They wanted to charge me $30 which is what I paid for the dress to begin with!

They wanted to change me 150$ for some simple work and it would not be done for over a month...and she told me that everywhere else would change the same but that's not the case I found a tailor right down the street that only change me 25$ and have it to me in a week.this place is overpriced DO NOT GOO HERE.

I went by this establishment today after getting a quote over the phone. I was wanting to have patches sewn onto my kids' karate uniforms. I was put off right from the get go because when I walked in the lady at the front desk looked less than thrilled to be working there. She was very rude and I basically had to lead the conversation of what I was there for myself. When I told her I had gotten a quote over the phone of $5 per patch she said no, it was $8 per patch. She then proceeded to tell me it would be a week before the patches were sewn on. Poor customer service and her overall attitude just... well, quite frankly it sucked and was pretty obnoxious. I will happily find another seamstress with a much better attitude towards customers and their needs elsewhere :)

Horrible service. They cut the hem of my $400 evening gown when I told them not to then they tried to get me to pay $20 for them doing something I never asked them to do! DO NOT go here, on top of ruining the bottom hem they also cut it to short and caused me to have an anxiety attack. Please do your business elsewear, it's overpriced for a bad sewing job.

Brought a shirt in to have it slimmed. They didnt uncuff the sleeve, they just surged right though to the edge and ruined it. Lazy.

I needed two pairs of Boy Scout pants hemmed the same day, and this is the only place I found that didn't look at me like I was crazy. The pants were ready to pick up when promised, and they look great. I'm very happy I found this service so close to my home, because I never learned to sew well.

Horrible customer service and poor communication!! Please don't ever go here! The "owner" of the store was very rude and disrespectful from the start. She was also very impatient with me and didn't seem to work well under pressure as soon as I came in. All I wanted to know was how the lining would look once it's finished and if it would flow well with the dress, since this was the first time I ever had a dress of mine be lined. She told me that nothing was a guarantee as far as how the dress would turn out overall after the lining is finished and didn't even care to explain to go over the details with me as far as the lining process goes. On top of that she started to talk back to me after I asked her about her experience since her last response was very concerning. I was very disappointed to say the least and told her I wouldn't want to waste my money on someone who isn't willing let alone doesn't know or could not explain to a customer about what they're doing.

I adore Eva! She always greets you with a smile and warmth. She is skilled in many areas and is honest about her abilities. Her pricing is very fair and her turn around time is quick. Plus, her hours are accommodating to the average person’s work Schedule. One time she even hemmed my dress I’m two hours for a photoshoot later that day. No sweat for her. The best part is that she has doors in her dressing rooms, unlike places with just a curtain that leaves a wide gap. Go to her for all your needs ❤️

Disappointed. Paid what was in my opinion too much to get a simple 2x3" patch sewed onto a knapsack. No problem though, I accepted the quote so fine. But when I picked it up it was off-center! I mean seriously. This was about the simplest job a professional seamstress could do, and they did it wrong! What's more, they had the gall to begin to deny that it even WAS off-center. As if it wasn't clear enough visually, I was forced to prove it with a tape measure. It was only then that they offered to redo it. So now I have twice as many pinholes in my knapsack but at least the patch I wanted on there doesn't look lopsided. I really don't know if I'd trust them to do something more expensive or more risky (for example, involving cutting). I'd be looking elsewhere for my next sewing task, big or small.

This place is horrible took jeans to have hemmed. The lady who helped me was very rude she kept arguing with me. I know how I like my jeans and how I like them measured with shoes. She would not listen and acted like she was too busy to listen. Do not go here. So many other good places.

She did an amazing job with my wedding dress! It was too big and difficult to alter but she did a great job and made sure it was done right. She even helped me make custom straps for it that looked factory. Very pleased, would recommend to anyone!

Absolute SCAM artists! RIPOFF!!! I called them and asked how much to hem my pants today. They told me $10.00 per pair (2 pair). I asked them if they would be done today and they said yes. I go down there and go through the trouble of trying both pair on only to see two different women size the legs on each pair different heights than the other pair but I don't want to argue so I don't say anything. I sit down to wait for the job to be done and the woman who looks like she wants to kill her self calls me up and says $30.00. I told them they quoted me $10.00 per pair on the phone and they said extra $5.00 for same day service. That same day service crap is BS. They knew I was asking for them done same day when they told me $10.00 on the phone. So after me saying I would not pay that price I grabbed my pants and suicide woman quickly yanks them out of my hand and goes in back to remove the hem markings. These people are poor excuses for human beings! DO NOT WAST YOUR TIME! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED... RUDE, DESPICABLE EXCUSES FOR LIFE PEOPLE.

There's a woman who works there , and she's extremely rude. She should not be allowed to work the front desk. Their services are overpriced. I will be going to another place for my alteration needs.
