Truly professional grade tailoring shops are harder than ever to find. Mid-City, however, is an excellent exemplar. They do really top notch work and I trust them with projects more involved than the usual hemming and cuffing - I've successfully had suit jackets taken in and sleeves lengthened. It's not cheap, but in my experience, you will get what you paid for.

I want to preface this that I don't write reviews very often and I think this is my first Google review. My wife needed quick alterations for a runway event later in the day. We showed up shortly after they opened at 8:00. Athena was incredibly friendly and helpful. She texted us less than two hours later that the dress was ready. My wife went from angry that the dress did not fit to incredibly happy. Thank you!

I have been going to this tailor since around 2007 and i have to say, no one works as well as Oscar and his partner do. I recommend him to all my friends, who work in midtown, and they also like his work. The staff is always very helpful and he is on time with his work.

I needed a suit to be altered within a week they managed to turn it around within 3 days! the customer service was great and the work on the suit came out great for something that was done in such a short period of time! I will definitely return soon with more items!

These tailors are inexperienced and unwilling to help solve an issue. I do not suggest anyone use them, no matter how small a job. I came here to have a bridesmaids dress hemmed and brought in on the sides and bust. The hem was done sloppily and clearly very quickly, without a lot of care or patience put into it. The sides were brought in but more so on one side than the other, so the dress itself sat lopsided on my body. The biggest issue, the bust, seems to be too much for this team to handle as it took two subsequent visits and they still were unable to fix it. I am confident with a pair of scissors and safety pins I could do a better job than they did. This was a simple tailoring job that is still unresolved $105 later.
