Awesome store with very helpful and knowledgeable staff. The space is airy and attractive with lots of stylish suits and shirts. Just went in to get some measurements done for a wedding and was helped by Rob who was very kind and provided great service. Will definitely be visiting again for my next tailored shirt purchase. My experience buying a suit here was incredibly disappointing. The special order/made-to-measure suit I bought simply never fit, even after three fittings and a bunch of bluntly-worded feedback. I wore it once and don’t plan to again; it looks worse than the off-the-rack suit I was wearing before. At the start, I asked for a bespoke fitting and was told that was only needed for really unusual body shapes, and would not be needed for me. At the first try-on, I literally could not button the pants at all. My weight had not changed since the measurements were taken, yet somehow I was made to feel that my body was at fault, not the tailoring. I gave feedback optimistically and they received it in good cheer. At the second try-on, I could button the pants but everything, the jacket especially, hung poorly and bunched up when buttoned. I gave sharp and dissatisfied feedback. They sighed and promised to give it another go. At the final fitting, I was out of time before an event and decided to live with it. They had the nerve to say, “Well, in cases like this, we recommend bespoke...”—what I’d asked for at the start. I regretted the whole experience, and did even more when I put the suit on for the event. I don’t mind it taking a few fittings to get things right. I do mind be treated as though a poor fit was somehow my own fault, and having to call attention to obvious flaws rather than having a tailor who wants to make the fit great.

Really great clothes and chill vibe. They have some pieces that you're not going to find anywhere else in NYC and that makes it worth a visit imo. Sizing is pretty slim. The fabric choices on the in house line are great too

My husband and I are huge fans of Brooklynn Tailors, and have been since they opened their cute little shop on Grand. I've always been a supporter of small business, especially family owned small business. They offer both 100% custom design as well as beautifully hand-crafted off-the-rack and it just doesn't get better than Brooklyn Tailors. Daniel and Brenna are the owners and they also have a few other employees. We've always been greeted well and treated with the utmost professionalism and respect. My husband now owns 3 suits and about 10+ shirts. Some custom, some off the rack. All equally amazing. From the fit, to the quality and style, all the way to the affordability - we are lifelong customers!

They really went beyond, taking one of their standard suits and tweaking each individual piece of the suit to fit my body. They did such a good job with the measurements that at my alteration, they only had to take the shirt sleeves up a hair, everything else was perfect. The suit was well-priced and they had a variety of fabrics to choose from, high-quality accessories and their shop just has a great vibe to it. You know you're going to walk away with something great. Rob always made me feel like I was in good hands and I got a beautiful suit that will last me for years!

I went to Brooklyn Tailors to get a suit for my wedding and was incredibly happy with it. I had planned to get one that was made-to-measure, but there was an off-the-rack one that fit me very well, so I went with it. The quality of the fabric and stitching is very good and the fit is perfect for me. Their clothes are designed for skinnier guys and it makes a huge difference. It's now my go-to place when I need a new shirt. The staff was very helpful and friendly when I talked to them in person and over email.

One word for Brooklyn Tailors..... Amazing! After seeing a Brooklyn Tailors suit on a friend of mine from New York I knew I had to have one. Not only did it catch my eye but there were at least a dozen people that commented on his suit at the wedding we were at. However, there was one problem, I'm in California and Brooklyn Tailors is in New York. To my delight they have a program in which they can fit you from any where in the world! I called them to get the process started and the salesperson couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. She explained that based on the brands and sizes of my current suits that they would send me a couple jackets, vests and pants to try on. A short while later I received my package from them. I was very nervous trying stuff on because I have such a weird body type. I'm usually a 40s and 30x30 pants which make for the need to always have my off the rack suits heavily tailored. I was SHOCKED at how well everything fit right off the bat. After I sent few pictures and had a phone call they knew exactly what to do to make my suit fit perfectly. I picked out what color I wanted based on the fabric swatches they sent and I sent back the fitting garments. A short time passed and I got my custom suit in the mail. I'm ecstatic with my new suit! It fits like a dream and I get compliments anytime I wear it. What an amazing experience. Brooklyn Tailors are truly suit artists.

Bought an off-the-rack suit a few weeks ago and already there are many issues with the quality.The buttons are falling off (not just one, but a few), some of the stitching is weak, and the material shows problems already. I like their style, silhouette, etc. but the quality for the price just isn't there. There are many other options nearby that offer a lot more quality for the same price.

Brooklyn Tailors offers a wonderful, one-of-a-kind experience in purchasing a bespoke suit. Living in Greenpoint, I never thought I’d have the opportunity to have a Savile Row-quality tailoring experience, but that’s what Danny offers. After getting measured, Danny took time to go over every detail of my suit with me (which was for my wedding), and explain his whole process, which was quite an education. The suit fits spectacularly, and I wear it often. I couldn’t have been happier with my experience, and look forward to buying more suits from Brooklyn Tailors in the future.
