My family and I come several times a year and we love it! Especially in the summer months because we are able to experience both the indoor and outdoor areas fully!

This spa cut up my daughters fingernails. They were literally bleeding. The lady was shavonne. She was also a hair stylist and absolutely refused to do my daughters friends hair instead of doing her nails. Rude attitude. Treated my kids unprofessional, there was NO AIR in the salon which ultimately felt like you could hardly breathe. Manager "made me a deal" for two for one, and I told him I'll pay for a bottle of mail polish, I refuse to pay for any services. He agreed, I told him I should be paid for even doing it. That took up OUR TIME, he just apologized. Basically there, it doesn't matter. All that matters is the "bill" is paid, then I cancelled all my other services, he then said "what can I do for you" I said cancel them all. At the end, I was charged an extra $60, so basically I actually PAID FOR THE NAILS!!! Ridiculous.

The water park is very nice. Stayed one night in the hotel. Paid $179.99 on special. The room was great. The food is VERY EXPENSIVE Ivory Coast ordered one kids mini corn dog meal, one adult sandwich, and one appitizer, one soda, and one alcoholic drink. With tip the bill was $53! Breakfast buffet was another $45 for two adults and one child! Snacks are very expensive as well. For one slushy and a pub chip it was $9! Beautiful but pricey. Would recommend going but make sure you have a couple hundred dollars saved for the food and games. They prohibit outside food and drink from being brought in.

We had a group of 4 including myself all getting massages and 2 added the option to float. Really great gals that made us feel comfortable. I love the comfy robes and the relaxation room prior to your massage. It enhances the experience. I’m so happy to live so close that I can frequently return ! Thank you !

Bad hotel experience. Never cleaned room our whole week here. Always having to call on emergency basis for towels etc. Stay away and go to other resorts or hotels in area. Cheaper and much much better value. Other complaints but not going to do that here. Would be zero stars if i could.

Kids had fun. I froze most of the time, wish they had it warmer! My sandals disappeared from the waterpark, but the staff was able to reunite me with them the following morning. We will be returning.

I've been here now 4 times in the past five years, and the resort/park has certainly seen a steady decline. You can't get on any of the "big" water slides, without at least a half hour wait, which sucks cause it's super muggy and hot. It's not as clean as it once was. The overall staff is certainly not as friendly as they once were. I used to not mind paying the extra money for food, but they've lost a step there too. It's entirely overcome by foreigners and drunks; which wouldn't be so bad if either acted as if they had any manners or class. During check-in there was a family that decided to have a picnic right in the lobby, directly next to the check in desk. It smelled up the entire lobby area. It's not worth the money they charge you to stay there, and I definitely won't be staying here again any time soon. I would consider coming for a day pass, to let my kids swim. But there are a lot better, and more contemporary water parks near by, without all the lines and hassle.

O ask for my shoulders, neck and upper back worked on and I had my feet massaged 4 times...last 10 mins of my 80 massage, my areas I requested then got attention..... been there several times will NOT go back over 150$

Deep tissue massage with Trina! Clean, relaxing, and rejuvenating! Cassady got me in for the massage 4 hours after I called. She also got my daughter on the schedule for a mani/pedi right before my massage. Can you say accommodating!

This review is just for SPA kalahari. Paige at the front desk was super friendly and extremely helpful. Loved the salt room and the spa pedicure. So relaxing. They did a wonderful job. And the gift shop at the spa was great. Bought jewelry, robes, and soap. Love it all. Thanks again Paige for all your help.

First timer at the Spa and first timer for a pedicure. Was pleasantly surprised. Not a huge fan of people touching my feet but Kaitlyn was so sweet and did such a good job. I was so relaxed I actually dozed off for a moment. Like I said this was my first time so I wasn't sure what to expect (and I'm pretty sure I give myself a pedicure once a week in the shower lol) but I truly enjoyed myself, they made me feel like a queen

We stayed at the Kalahari Sandusky and had a wonderful time! Staff was friendly rooms cozy and clean although a bit pricey, but what do you expect it is a resort and everything looks so appealing so bring mula lol. My family and I had amazing time we'll be back!

Great atmosphere. My only issue is that I did order a "deep penetration" tissue massage and I received "just the tip". Lol great for relaxation, Just not massaging the kinks and knots out of your muscles. I was underwhelmed.

I got a spa pedicure and a shellac manicure from Shavonne. She was an absolutely sweetheart and pleasure to work with. I spent the day prior at Cedar Point, and my legs were so sore. Shavonne went out of her way to give me a deep massage on my legs to ease the tension and it worked! I'll be back.

Water park cool, but I know for a fact that they do not wash their comforters on the mattresses daily or after each person they VERY RARELY DO. They do not recycle, us think for such a big 900 room place they would at least try? I can only imagine how much waste this place creates. Ask for fresh comforters of you do decide to stay because that is nasty they don't wash them after each use. Since it's privately owned it doesn't have standards like Hilton I guess.
