Not real memorable! Boyfriend got me a spa package for my birthday.. Karen my masseuse was incredible and I booked a half hour! The Mani/Pedi well that was a different story. The nail technician was a nice enough gal and I enjoyed the paraffin wax but the paint job is terrible some places on the nail are not covering in some places and the filing of the nail is rough. I had to point out the uneven edge of the thumbnail. I did not get my facial as the girl was overbooked and I understand so I rebooked. The major issue was when the receptionist ripped my gift card in half and I was still owed the facial and then proceeded to tell me that I had a balance of 13.00 on my gift card because I got a spa Mani/pedi instead of a classic Mani Pedi. Like I would know the difference! My boyfriend also left a tip as well did I upon receiving my services! I am truly disappointed. Especially thought this would be a great experience because of all the wonderful reviews.. sorry but my review is not a good one! I probably will not book here again!

I ended up making an appointment Friday, 7/13/18 for Saturday, 7/14/18. The only one available by then was Justine. She was great! Very friendly and interested in doing exactly what I wanted with my hair. I was very pleased with what she did and highly recommend her!

Worst experience at a spa ever. I had just had a baby and was looking forward to some relaxing time to myself, my fiance had bought me the inner calm package. I looked it up and talked to someone about the details and they said that it would take at most four hours to get a mani, pedi, and massage. I was obviously alright with that, so I scheduled an appointment. Waited a half hour past my appointed time just to see someone. The room wasn't set up or ready. Finished the mani and pedi, then waited almost an hour for a massage. Finally I said screw it. The massage was supposed to be 45 minutes and I couldn't wait any longer. I had already pushed my sitter as far as I could, so I had to leave. Very, very unhappy. Every time I call to try to schedule something, everything is booked. I cant get in for a hair appointment for two weeks. Yeah, they are cheap, but I would pay an extra 50$ to go to a bigger, more staffed and professional establishment. I wouldn't send anyone there.

I was in terrible pain when I made an impromptu massage with Doug. I have struggled with herniated discs, annular tears and MS pain for nearly years. The first session with Doug was amazing, he took time to really understand what we needed to work on/what I expected as a result. I scheduled a second massage as I had another flair up. I could barely walk when I arrived and my back pain was unbearable. Doug hit the EXACT spot that bothered me and by the time I left I was able to do a squat. Don't get me wrong, I'm certainly there to relax and Doug allows this environment however, I have serious issues that needed to be addressed and within an hour I walked out feeling alive again!! Better yet, i walked!! I've had massage therapists come to my house weekly for my MS and it mildly helped, only 2 sessions with Doug and I'm getting better. If you're looking for the same results or just want to relax and feel good, call Doug he's your man!!

My husband purchased me a gift card from rose and jill (both very nice) for a maternity massage. The next day I called and spoke to a very under trained receptionist. She made me very nervous about putting confidence in the staff. I decided to come there after work to speak to someone that would be able to answer some of my concerns. I spoke with Kim, a manager, and I have never been treated so poorly. She refused to apologize for the lack of knowledge of her employees, how her employee had scheduled me with a man without my permission, and basically said take it or leave it since I'd already bought a gift card. I told her I'd leave a bad review online so people were aware of their lack of customer service and she basically said I can do what I have to do. Again, no apology... I'm waiting to speak to the owner of this business. I am not impressed with the customer service this far, I'd recommend NOT coming here!!

Wonderful pampering experiences before and on the day of our daughter’s wedding. My daughter chose the bridal room service the day of the wedding and it was wonderful. The finger foods were delicious and the presentation was beautiful! Staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend. I will definitely return to Moda Bella.

I have dyed my hair once before at Ruffalos and had a bad experience; I wanted it to make close to my original color and it turned out rather coppery. It took me 3 years to reconsider dying my hair. Angie was phenomenal. She listened to my concerns and even collaborated with another beautician to make sure it was close to my hair color. It turned out really well. I will be returning.

Beautiful location in a beautiful building, with a bridal suite where my attendants and I brought in our own mimosas. My hair NEVER holds a curl if curled down instead of in an updo, and the stylist talked me into trusting her. Best decision. She got it to hold, and I had the hairstyle I really wanted for my wedding instead of the one I thought I would have to have. They are awesome!

Got a massage here, from Doug, and it was the best massage I have ever received. He was attentive and understanding of what I was looking to accomplish from the massage. He took time to talk with me before about his techniques and really get a feel for his client before the massage began. Then after, we talked about what I liked about the massage, how I was feeling and how to really maximize the benefits at home. He did not try to "sell" me on coming back unnecessarily, but rather gave me tips on how to stretch the areas that seemed to be most tense on my own following the appointment. It was so much more than a massage, rather massage therapy in the fact that he massaged me and pushed on pressure points and worked with me to stretch out those areas to feel the full benefit of the process. I left feeling insanely relaxed and my neck and back haven't felt that stretched out and "loose" in YEARS! I'm a new mom, to an 8 month old and carrying her around and sitting in positions to feed that aren't always comfortable have done a number on the muscle aches in my neck, shoulders, lower back and scapula's and i FINALLY feel "normal" and not in pain anymore! I'm not one to make additional appts before i leave, but I already booked another appointment with him in a month and a half!

I had my first bikini wax with Lacey. She kept me so calm and talked me through the entire process. I was extremely relaxed through a rather uncomfortable process. If I would've been with anyone else, the experience would have been pretty miserable but Lacey distracted me and helped me through the whole thing. She's very knowledgeable and encouraged me to ask any questions. I'll definitely be going back to her.

MEGAN (esthetician) has lovely hands I never had problems with her I loved my 1hr relaxed time with her, but I had an appt like every 4weeks at least I never want to cancel or reschedule most of the time I was there if I had to cancel of reschedule is for a mayor excuse(yes did it like 2 or 3 times) , today I called cause my mom asked me to translate for her on a doctors appt most of the time she has a translator helping her in the clinic this time the translator has a day off of course my mom need somebody she called me and I can sacrifice my appointment for my mom WHO WOULD NOT do that but again i said can I reschedule and she said we may charge you and i said it ok but i want to reschedule (2nd time) on the 3er want I said ok SO Theres is NO anyway that I can reschedule then and she put me on hold I understand the policy I never refuse to pay the cancellation fee but I was trying to reschedule and the receptionist did not hear that untill i said it the 3er time. It may not mean nothing just one costumer. Good luck MEGAN your the best.

Love this place! Amanda always does a great job with my asd son's hair cuts. Not sure I'll use anyone else for his cuts as he's picky and really seems to like her. She's super patient and careful with him and his rapid random movements, and yet still gets the cut done in less then 20 minutes. Seriously, she's great! I wouldn't recommend anyone else!

They cancelled my appointment for the 2nd time. They called me at 6:04 pm one day before my 8:00 am appointment. The salon has a policy for customers canceling appointment with less than 24 hrs notice customer is still charge. What is a customer suppose to do when the salon cancels an appointment with less than 24hrs of the service? The receptionist offered to give me other appointment at 11:00am (it was too late for me) which i couldn’t do due to the time. I was waiting for more than one month ( and again waiting for the 2nd time). The receptionist just say then ok and going to cancel your appointment and bye. Very sad, I really told this was a nice and professional place.

I just had my makeup and hair trial for my wedding here and loved the experience. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating! The space is so cute; I love that it was a home before it was turned into a salon. The employees really seem to love it there and enjoy their jobs and each other. All of the interactions I observed were positive. They really made me feel safe, welcome, and valued as a new customer. I wish I lived closer so I could use them more regularly! If you are having your wedding in the Kenosha area, I would absolutely recommend using Moda Bella salon for your hair, makeup, and pampering needs! This was my first time here and it was amazing! I have a lot of trust issues when it comes to cutting my hair, so I read the reviews and I knew I had to try this place. I'm on a tight budget so I was concerned about how much it could be, especially since I HAVE to have my hair washed before it was cut. As I was having my hair washed, and it was like a head message and I thought "OMG there is no way this wash and cut is going to be under $80" because it was SO. GOOD. You're treated so nicely there and for a wash and a simple cut, $40. *without tip* Angie did an amazing job and I would definitely recommend Moda Bella!!!

I had the privilege of spending the morning of my wedding with my girls at Moda Bella and I can't speak highly enough of their customer service. The physical space was ideal for relaxing and pampering, Laurie (the bridal coordinator) was an absolute delight to work with (very attentive and helpful-- and she makes the best cucumber mini sandwiches!), and every stylist/staff member was as fun as they were talented. Emily did both my trial and updo for my wedding, and she absolutely nailed what I was looking for and made me laugh throughout the process. I got both a mani and pedi the day before the wedding from Christina, and she did a terrific job. I could keep rambling about how great everything was, but hopefully you get the idea. If you're in the market for a salon for your big day, Moda Bella is where it's at.
