Everyone was very friendly and welcoming but WORST manicure EVER. The women who did my manicure used a drill on my actual nail!! When I stoped her and said I’d prefer she did not use it on my nails she said it’s faster than a file...? My nails are now thin and painful, my cuticles look awful, the polish bubbled up, she dented my nails and got polish on my fingers (didn’t wipe it off). Overall just awful and ruined my healthy nails. No wonder it was so cheap. I feel bad saying this because everyone was so nice but I could of done a better job on my nails at home by myself :(

I recently went to Diamond with my family as a Christmas present to them. It was my mom, my 3 sisters, and me. One of my sisters and my mom use wheelchairs to get around. They were very accommodating and caring, especially to my mom who is elderly. Mom had some problems with her nails drying all the way, and everyone was very attentive at making sure she was happy. They even took off the polish and redid it completely (regular polish, not shellac). All of our nails turned out beautiful. I debated taking off one star because there was no space for my mom and my sister to wait when they got their, but they did show up early and that is normal for a nail place I'm assuming. So it was a little crowded, but overall a fantastic experience with excellent service. Highly highly recommend!!!!!!!

i never leave reviews but my experience here prompted one. i have never been so dissappointed. tony absolutely destroyed my nails. he actually broke one of them while being ridiculously aggressive with the drill. he completely ignored me telling him that i wanted to keep my shape and instead opted to ruin the shape id worked so hard to grow. my mothers nail tech here, whose name she does not remember, did an awful job as well. she, too, ignored my mothers thoughts and filed them painfully short. we are never going back here and i have warned all of my friends never to come here as well.

I was in town for work, thought I’d pop in for a pedicure... BAD IDEA. the pedicure itself was nice and staff was nice but with in 2 hours I had a funny “rash”on the bottom of my foot - after visiting the doctor yesterday when I returned home- I contracted a FUNGUS.. The whole time I was there I watched my stylist did through a bin of tools for the next one she was going to use. The place was packed and I can’t help to think now it was more about the $ to them then to be sanitary. Will not go back or recommend.

Updated from a 5 star: My first and second experience was wonderful. Now, not so much. The tech I had was not welcoming at all, when I said what I wanted she had an attitude. The file she used left my cuticles peeling, and the dip power left stains on my fingers. I saw other techs wiping it off other clients but she was in such a rush to go sit in a pedicure chair and sit on her phone with my appointment. Not to mention, I specifically asked for them not to look thick and be flat and she didn’t follow through with that. I talked to the manager/owner and they offered for her to come back and fix it and I told them I didn’t want her again and did nothing with the price for my unhappiness. I go to pay extra because I loved the nails and service but from now I won’t be returning.

First time stopping by there, I got shellac French tips and when the nail tech had one hand in the UV heat lamp she would work on my other hand but made me place my arm directly on top of the heater. I had red burn marks on my arms after leaving. The prices were good and that they serve wine is definitely nice.

I got my nails done maybe a week ago and they are already coming off. Shellac is supposed to last 3 weeks. It was not a personal experience at all and it felt very rushed. My polish must have had dirt in it (or the machine) because my white nails have brown specks on them. I would not recommend.

Got SNS done, about my 4th or 5th time here. For whatever reason, the nails dont look clean, there are streak marks from the buffers that are very visible. I don't always have this issue here, but it was pretty disappointing to realize after the fact. I'd go back and complain but I really don't have time for them to redo it.

The staff was friendly in scheduling my appointment. I got there on time for a pedicure and was put in a spa chair soon after but no one started working on my pedicure for about 15 minutes. I didn't really mind sitting in the massage chair with my feet soaking though. The tech did a pretty good job on my pedicure. It looks great and he did a nice design like I asked for. I decided to add a standard manicure last minute and a woman told me it'd be no problem at all. I appreciated that because it was quite busy and I wasn't sure if they'd have more time for me. The manicure I got is unfortunately quite sloppy looking. He didn't do a very good job with my cuticles and the polish doesn't go down to the cuticle evenly. Plus the top coat doesn't cover all of my nails in several parts. So I mean it's not bad, but I definitely feel I could have done just as good a job if not better myself. All in all, it was a good experience. The staff was nice and the service was pretty good. The prices were also reasonable. I will likely go back, but I hope to get a different tech next time just to see if the experience is any better.

The gentleman who did my toes was very personable, helped match my daughters polish with mine because she wanted that. Very disappointed I've heard so many great things about Dimond nails so I thought Id give it a try I did the dip manicure. It was very rushed, she did not clean under my nails and when she asked if she could cut my nails shorter I said only a little and she cut them down to my skin, I had very long nails.. Afterwards she put the top coat on and did not clean up my nails at all. I had nail polish all over my hands. No lotion, no hand massage and no filing was done.

They are so efficient and offer so many services. I have yet to be disappointed with Diamond. They do charge extra if you have long nails or want a special shape but I don’t mind paying the extra amount, it takes extra time to do so. Thank you Diamond for being the BEST in Madison!

I got a shellac manicure at Diamond Nails recently and it was by far the best experience I have ever had at a nail salon. I was able to make an appointment through email, which was very convenient, and when I came in they were ready for me right away, which seems rare at most salons even with an appointment. They offer you water, tea, or wine, which is a nice touch. The salon itself it very cute and well decorated. It also doesn't stink like acrylic nails like most salons. Everyone working was incredibly friendly. Kat did my nails, and she did an amazing job. The nail polish I chose was a light color and she applied layers until it looked perfect. She really took her time, which I find is usually a rarity at salons that just want to get you in and out. I was so pleased with how my nails came out. I will definitely be back.

Very professional, friendly and quick. Had to get a manicure and pedicure for my upcoming trip to Jamaica. Scheduled appointment a few hours prior and was able to get in the same day. I was so pleased with their service of my manicure and pedicure that I requested an exbrow wax right after and they squeezed me into their schedule. The total cost for all 3 basic services was under $60. Can't beat that - Very happy customer!

I would give zero stars if possible. My first and ONLY visit was last week for a pedicure. My appointment was over in less than 30 minutes. Most of the appointment was spent "massaging" my feet and legs. A pedicure should be about cuticules and callous removal. Worse salon I have experienced.

At the surface, this seems like a well organized nail salon. But I've been here multiple times and never been satisfied with my nails. I hadn't been to Diamond in a couple of years so I thought I would try a dip manicure. The person who did my nails seemed like they were in a huge rush. She was dipping my nails in the powder and putting on coats of polish without even looking at my nail or brushing off the powder in between dips. I left with what felt like thick bubbles of polish on my nails and gel was so stuck under my nails that I couldn't un-stick my skin from the polish. Every nail was so lumpy/ thick/uneven that I had to go back the next day and ask for them to be filed down to be thinner. I'm not normally someone who ever sends anything back... But I felt like I couldn't pick things up or do my job as efficiently with this thick of nails. The second job was much better; my nails looked good from far away but still there were SO many imperfections and skin sticking to glue that became jagged edges once my nails grew out even the slightest bit. When I went back 2 weeks later to get them removed because they looked horrible grown out, the woman Literally gauged my nails out with the buffing machine. My nails now have huge dents in them and also lumps of dip on that she never got off (last picture that I attached). I would not recommend this place, and I'm only giving 2 stars instead of 1 because they were able to "fix" my nails promptly the next day after the first time. I'm not writing this review to complain or get any response/feedback-- I'm just looking to show my experience for anyone out there looking for a nail salon... go elsewhere for dip.

Came here for an upper lip wax... half of my skin is missing and I’m very upset about it as I have a big event coming up. This is two days later too. Not sure if this is normal but I’ve gone to many other places and not once has this happened. I told her to leave the places where there wasn’t hair. This is going to scar and I am beyond upset!

Was in Madison for a wedding and was in desperate need of a Mani pedi. This place was a 15 min drive from the hotel but had great reviews! The reviews didn't lie. They snuck me in and Pat was great. She took great care of me and was such a perfectionist. One of the best Mani/pedis I've had in awhile. The management remembered people's names and colors and they seemed super efficient. Very busy, recommend calling ahead and making an apt.

everyone who works there is super nice!! and listens to what you want. only giving 3 stars because they started charging an extra 5 for “long” tips... so pretty much if you want ANY length its extra. this is the shortest ive ever gotten my nails so it was unexpected and kind of annoying I had to pay extra to get them this length (i wish i could post a picture but it wont let me on my phone. its probably not even a 4th of a centimeter in length) Id understand if it was $5 extra when its actually long, but i barely have ANY length. Ive been to a lot of nail places and never had them charge for them being this SHORT lol. just a heads up!

I love this place- it is the only salon i will go too. I have a certain person i book my appointments with but I've never got a bad set of nails- they take their time and perfect each nail. I get at least a couple compliments a day at my job because my nails look so good. I drive 20 minutes to this place when i have nail salons right down the street but no one would be close to diamond salon n spa. I would for sure recommend this salon to everyone!

Diamond is by far the best salon I have ever been to! I have been going there for the past 6 years and recommend it to everyone. The service is amazing, everyone working there does an excellent job. The salon itself is welcoming and can accommodate a lot of people! I've gone in groups of 5 and Diamond always accommodates us. The massage pedi chairs are heavenly and Diamond offers complimentary beverages while you get your nails done. You can also make appointments by email (with 24 hours notice) and everyone is super prompt about replying, which is very convenient! Dan and Lana are two of the nicest people you'll meet and always go above and beyond to make everything perfect. If you haven't gone in yet, book a mani pedi appointment ASAP! I can't recommend Diamond enough, it's one of my favorite places in Madison!

Every time I have gotten a pedicure somewhere either the results were terrible or it was crazy expensive. I would pick my pedicure which seemed like a reasonable price but by the end of it they had somehow added at least $20 in fees “extra fees” even though I didn’t ask for anything extra, but not this place. This place has their prices listed on their menu and there are no hidden fees. I went in for a shellac pedicure for $55 (which is very very reasonable considering other places charge $65-80) and was very happy with the results. It looks great and this is definitely my go to place from now on!

I went to diamond nails at the recommendation of some local friends. It’s an incredibly crowded space and is really run down. The atmosphere seems more like a construction site than a nail salon. The tools for pedicures are carried around in old toolboxes and there was no evidence of the tools being sterilized or even taken from clean packaging before they were used. The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because my toes turned out pretty nice and it was the best foot and leg massage I’ve ever had at a salon. Probably won’t go back unless I’m desperate, though.

I have always had shellac manicures done in the past, but my usual place doesn’t do dip nails. I wanted to see what all fuss is about, so I went to Diamond to try the dip/sns nails. The staff where friendly and the salon is very clean and organized. There were over 2 dozen chairs for manicures and most of them were full when I arrived in the middle of the day on a Thursday. Of the 20 or so women getting manicures, I would say 85% were getting a dip manicure - so this salon is well versed in the dip/sns system. First off, my nails are much thicker than I thought they would be! I’m having a heck of time picking up my sewing pins & needles. Second, I had a French manicure done, but the clear portion looks cloudy with tons of tiny bubbles - not the crystal clear I got with shellac. Lastly, there was glue everywhere. All of my fingers were glued to the fingernails and I have ledges around several nails. I think this will be my last dip manicure. Update: I contacted them after my meeting to let them know the issue I had. Dan got back to me within 30 minutes!! The customer service at Diamond Nails is amazing and will correct any problems you have. Update - 1-11-19: I have many coworkers that swear by Diamond and their manicure lasts for weeks. So, I gave them another go. I had a shellac manicure with Ken and it is still perfect 4 weeks later!! 4 weeks!! I have never had a shellac last that long before.

What a wonderful salon! I called to book my nail appointment earlier today knowing I could be cutting it close to closing time. I arrived 30 minutes until close and my technician stayed and did an amazing job!! He didn’t rush and took his time for a full manicure with reshellac polish ! And he even did two beautiful hearts on my nails and made sure they were perfect! The staff was extremely welcoming and was quick to serve me wine which was awesome! Then one of the ladies did my toes. She cut both of my big toe nails way too short. My right toe started bleeding and she didn’t say anything about it. Both of my big toes are sore. The yellow polish I picked for my toes seemed old because it was turning out streaky and seemed sort of off-colored. The lady realized it wasn’t looking the greatest and instead of starting over with a dif color she just asked if she could cover it up with glitter. I reluctantly agreed. Then I got my nails done by a dif lady. I had old acrylic/gel on my nails. She use the tool (drill?) that removes the old polish and it was burning my nail beds. I was happy with the way my manicure turned out but the burning of my nail beds wasn’t cool... This was my first time here and I wish I would’ve had a better experience.

Unlike some other places, when you make an appointment, it's a real appointment that will start early or on time and very rarely will you get started late even when they are very busy. The staff is wonderful and the quality of service is the best I've experienced across all of the manicures and pedicures I've ever had. Being able to book an appointment email is super convenient as well. Definitely make an appointment -- they will try to fit you in if you walk in, but this place is always super busy. If you have an appointment, they will have everything ready for you when you arrive; pedicure bath already warm and running, etc. Prices are reasonable. They may be a few dollars more than some other places, but it is well worth it. I cannot recommend Diamond Nails enough, I love them! :)

The staff, prices, customer service, and attention to detail is wonderful! I've been here a handful of times and my nails have turned out great! The one time it wasn't up to snuff I came back after a week and a half because the polish had all come off (first time every happening) and they were SO fast to do a polish change and make everything right. It was a nice clean facility. We had made an appointment and I was happy to get seated right away when the appointment started. However, I’m not very pleased with my gel manicure. There is a lot of the nail that wasn’t painted even after I had pointed it out.
