I spent $45 plus tip on gel nails this past Saturday. It’s Tuesday (4 days later) and my nails look awful. The color was pink and the color was not extended to the end of my nails...it looks unfinished! Also, my cuticles were not trimmed well so gel is peeling. Worst manicure I’ve ever had. Sorry, but would not go back.

I love this spa! I have been going to Clear Waters for three years for massages and facials. I especially recommend massages from Carrie and facials from Carol - my skin looks amazing afterwards. Highly recommend that you come here.

I had high hopes for Clear Waters Salon when I scheduled my hair and makeup trial for my wedding. When myself and maid of honor arrived for the appointment we were quickly lead to the chair and the trial began. Caitlyn was who we were working with. She didn't bother to introduce herself or ask who I brought along. She asked a few questions about the wedding but over all was pretty stand-offish. The hair trial went OK. I wasn't in love with how it turned out but didn't hate it . It was the makeup that was horrible. Overall I think she had the right technique, but the products the salon uses are absolutely horrid. After my appointment when I went outside, I realized my entire face was covered in a grey dusty shimmer, my eyeliner was waxy and patchy and the lip product they used was chunky and gross. Every pore and line on my face was emphasized. Additionally, my hair fell out of the updo with in two steps of walking out the door (I am not exaggerating this!). I was so upset with how the trial went I didn't even want to go back to see if they could fix it. I think she could have fixed the hair, but the makeup products you can't change. Within two days of my trail my skin had broken out bad. I can only assume it was the products used or a lack of clean brushes, maybe both. Also, as soon as my trial was complete my MOH and I were checking things out and snapping a few photos, and Caitlyn rudely asked me to move my things because she had another client who had been waiting. We were over our appointment time by 2 minutes. This is not the kind of stress and attitude I want to deal with on my wedding day. So if you are thinking about using Clear Waters Salon for bridal services, definitely book a trial months and months in advance so you are not scrambling to find someone else.

Olivia Stephan did a more than excellent job with my 30 minute "On the Go Facial". I noticed a difference in my skin walking out and waking up in the morning! She answered a ton of my questions and was such a sweetheart. I'm looking forward to coming back. Thank you! :)

My first time at the spa and I will be back! Kat did my hydrafacial with boosters - it was so relaxing and my skin looked and felt great afterwards. Kat was professional, kind, and knowledgeable. Looking forward to going back soon. Also, love the products that Kat recommended for my skin type. I just moved up from Chicago and it is nice to find a new spa that I trust.

Cute place. Clean. Extremely nice staff. Went in without an appointment and was offered same day consultation with esthetician. Although she wasn’t taking appointments, she squeezed me in. Above and beyond – great service! Thank you!

Clear Waters Salon & Day Spa is my favorite for a true pampering experience. Enjoy a pedicure in the window seat overlooking beautiful Geneva Lake or a fabulous massage. The staff are always friendly and knowledgable.

Clear water salon is so nice! I booked them for my and my bridesmaids hair and makeup for my wedding on Oct 7, as well as nails the night before. They were fantastic! When I booked, there was a mix up and I was booked at the wrong location. I called, a bit panicked, and spoke with Katherine who was so calm and perfect. She switched everything over and made sure everything was fixed and ready for my wedding day! I cannot thank her enough for doing this for me. You have to fill out a sheet of what you want done for each person of your wedding party. It is a little confusing, but Katherine cleared it up for me and agreed that it could be clearer. My hair and make-up was done by Kaitlyn and she was fantastic! She loves brides and is so happy and good at her job. We had a trial and my curls fell out pretty quickly. I let her know the day of and she made sure they stayed all night! My hair and make-up was beautiful!! My bridesmaids were done by other girls in the shop, I was not introduced but everyone looked stunning! One of my bridesmaids had her hair curled, which is normally impossible! It stayed all night. We all looked gorgeous! I wish they were in Chicago. I would go to them always if they were here!

Wife and I came here for a Vday spa day and this is by far the best Valentine's day gifts we could have ever gotten each other. You get such an experience. Vivien and Natalie gave incredible massages. Do yourself a favor and come to this spa asap!

Very substandard haircut for the $60 I spent. Being a hairdresser, I could have done a better job myself. One star for atmosphere. As for the rest of my experience, I felt looked down upon and uncomfortable. I I will never go back and will not recommend to anyone.

The salon is very cute and a great location. My family has a summer home here so I stopped in to ask about salon and spa services. I was ignored for a long time and then when I was finally helped it was as if I was inconveniencing the employee. There are lots of salon/spas in the area, customer service is definitely not their strong point.

I have been to various salons between Chicago and Lake Geneva and this was hands down the best experience I have ever had! The decor was absolutely adorable and made the whole atmosphere feel so comfortable. My friend and I had Caitlin and Taylor who were professional, friendly and proficient at what they did. I will be making the 1.5 hour drive to go back in the near future and will be telling all my friends about this salon!

I recently had an IPL photofacial with Carol at the Williams Bay location. I have had this procedure done in a dermatologist's office in 2010 and had great results. I am very pleased with my first treatment and am amazed with how much Carol was able to accomplish with my first session. I already notice signigicant reduction in pore size and complete absence of many of the broken capillaries in my t zone. This experience was much better than what I experienced with the dermatologist. Carol is extremely professional and puts you at ease. I found her to be very knowledgeable and gives you very precise aftercare instructions. I really am astounded with the initial results and am looking forward to seeing how it looks in a few weeks!

I found this salon/spa while looking through yelp reviews. It came highly recommended, and they did not disappoint!!! I booked a couples massage for my wife and I; prenatal for her, Swedish for me. Our masseuses were nice, professional, and skilled at their craft. The atmosphere was VERY relaxing and the complimentary foot soak prior to the massage was the perfect way to ease into a relaxing mood. I would highly recommend this salon/spa, and will definitely book in the future!!!

I have been to salons in Chicago, New York and Geneva , Switzerland. I can honestly say I like Clearwater the best! I visit Courtney on a regular basis to get a cut and highlights. She is the best colorist and stylist I have ever had. My husband , college-aged daughter and teenaged son have worked with various other staff members. It is clear that all are very well trained and up to date with their styling techniques. I have also had a facial with Carol, whom I love as well. On occasion, I have treated myself to a mani pedi, and wish I could do that more regularly. I am very happy every time I leave the salon. The success Clearwater has enjoyed is a result of the vision and hard work of the local owners.

I received a nice haircut. But my wife spent four hours and didn't even get her haircut. She had her hair lighten two shades and then highlighted and straighten. She has a lot of hair but four hours ! 2 hours longer than it takes her at other places. Then she went back a few days later to get her haircut because there wasn't time the first visit. And when she came home we all noticed it it was uneven and shorter on one side. So her aunt went through the drawer and grabbed some scissors and even it out before we went out to dinner. Needless to say she won't be going back there.
