Rustic but genuine.

Dale Fyock

Relaxing bath, lovely massage, and a nice steam to let all the wonderful massage oil soak into my skin. One of the nicest spa experiences I've had even though the facility isn't new or fancy. Kind employees were the icing on the cake.

Rebecca Shanholtz

Great warm baths with a reservation needed and you can fill up containers with spring water! Gallon jugs can be purchased at the bath house fyi.

Jason Williams

Love this place. Super relaxing.

Cindy Lue Jamison

Great experience every time

Tim Shylanski

While it was neat to visit, the bath house was dated and run down. The whole appearance of town and the park said that this resort has been in decline for some time. Employees said they were closing old house for renovations Jan 1st. Hopefully they put some money into the area.

Really nice. The town itself is small but has a decent amount of shops and restaurants. We went for the whirlpool bath and massage and the next day the old Roman bath. The water is HOT but awesome. Your skin will thank you! I would not get the massage next time, it wasn’t fabulous. The people who work there are friendly. Don’t bother with the Sunday brunch at the inn, it was not good. Don’t forget to fill up a jug of water before you leave!!

Devorah C

Horrible place, they are completely dishonest! The guy who led us to the bath claimed we would only get 15-20 minutes because we were late even though we were there more than 10 minutes before our reservation and then when we complained they tried to claim that they only do 15 minute baths even though we paid for 30! $120 for a 15 minute bath for 5 people is absolutely ridiculous and we will be disputing the charge!

Izzy C

Terrible experience. They are completely dishonest. They were rude and gave us less time than they claimed and refused to give us any money back or more time. We are disputing the charge.

Jo-carol Prokop

Great massage and Roman bath today. Visit as often as I can. Always relaxing. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

Kim Uttley

All the yes. Went for a bachelorette party. Did the baths and massage and it was perfect. The have a nice cha ing area and provide keys to lockers so your stuff is secure. The baths are private and can hold 6 people. Afterwards if you wore a suit they provide a trash bag to keep your wet clothes in. They were great at listening to what you wanted from a massage, if you don't know they also give a great general massage. Either way you come out super relaxed!!

Awesome throwback experience. The roman baths are nothing fancy but for sure are authentic and charming. For history buffs this place is great as its maintained its original charm and decor. We came over Thanksgiving weekend but were told they were completely booked up, total bummer. After stopping by several more times, the lady told us she could squeeze us in the spot of a few no call, no shows. Win ! We split into groups and in pairs enjoyed two separate rooms. The water was amazing, so hot and relaxing. Highly recommended, worth the visit.

Autumn Botkin

It was soo relaxing! Will def be back!

Chris Morales

This place is wonderful! The staff are always friendly and the facility is always clean. This is the most relaxing place around and the town has a great vibe to it too.

Andrea Depanise

Book your time in advance. It was warm, relaxing and nice to be able to get full submersed in the spring water. Would do it again. Staff friendly and nice.

Always love coming here. Need to make sure to come back more often. Had an appointment made and the bath was ready for us right when we got there.

Must do! Hubby and I are skeptics but we truly did feel invigorated after sitting in the mineral water in our private Roman bath (room). Don't expect frills in the old bath house just history. And get a massage here too in the building next to the Roman bath house. Best massage I've ever had thanks to Tammy!

The baths are neat buy the website is awful. They are closed 4 days a year, one if which is Easter, but they do nit provide that information. Staff is helpful and the experience is great but they need better web management.

Nicer than what I expected. A private bath experience. The water is 102, I would have rather had it a couple degrees warmer. So it's not really a hot bath. But at 20 minutes the water is drained out so each bath is fresh mineral water. My skin felt great after getting out.

Bill Pabst

Old school spa. Really old. The baths are wonderful.

Very relaxing and therapeutic

We love the cozy ambiance and nice customer service. The tubs are old yet kept very clean. The water is hot with an option to add cold water, and they give you a pitcher and glasses of cold spring water to drink for hydration. The tub will relax you and make you happy. That is why we go back often. The window in the small room makes it feel airy and not cramped.

Love this place, always worth the drive. The people who work here are great. The facility is old but clean and well kept. I think they’re remodeling this winter.

This was a terrible experience and the opposite of relaxing. We arrived 10 minutes before our appointment to sign in and pay. Online it said it was 14 dollars per person for the bath. We were told that those were the prices for the old Roman bath house and they have their own prices. They explained that their price was 24 dollars a person for half an hour which also would not include a shower unless we paid more. We agreed to the 24 dollar price and it came out to 120 for 5 of us. The woman who checked us in was polite. The attendant, Matt, came to take us to the bath was incredibly rude and said he’d try to get us in for 20 minutes because we were late and we said we were not late. He rolled his eyes and walked away. The bath area had one small basket for everyone to put their stuff but they didn’t offer a changing room. After 20 minutes there was a loud bang on the door and the water just drained. We exited the room and no one came to us. We showed ourselves out and complained to the front desk. The woman there was different from the woman who checked us in. I explained that we payed for half an hour and we only got 20 minutes. She said that What we paid for was for only 20 minutes and the 1/2 hour is for the old Roman bath house and they aren’t. The woman said they are accommodating the old Roman bath house’s guests and usually only people who get massages get the baths. So basically, she thinks she’s doing us a favor even though we paid 120 dollars. In the meantime, the woman who checked us in was standing in the back not saying anything cuz she knew they were being dishonest. Everything they say was inconsistent and dishonest. This was all pretty disturbing.

Berkeley Springs is such a beautiful place to visit. The mineral springs are so warm and refreshing. Very clean park with lots of local shops to check out.
