I went with a friend and we got a massage and mani/pedi's. This was our first time getting professional massages and it was amazing! The room was very quiet and low lite. The masseuse was excellent. I felt myself falling asleep on the table. The mani/pedi's were very nice. Everyone was very friendly and polite. The building is very clean and looks well maintained inside. The whole experience was very relaxing. I highly recommend Serenity Day Spa!!!

I just moved here from Rhode Island and saw Kaitlyn today for a prenatal massage. It was fantastic and I feel relief after only a 30 minute session. Honestly, since moving, I was quite disappointed about leaving my masseuse who has been relieving my chronic pain for over a year now. BUT I'm glad I found Serenity. I will definitely be back since I feel like I can rely on Kaitlyn (or even another masseuse!) to help out. Also, I was quite pleased with how Tracy squeezed me right in and was prompt in her responses on Facebook Messenger. I was in extreme pain from tension, the move, and overall pregnancy. Thanks Serenity!

It was lovely. The atmosphere is very calming and quiet. I got a Depp Tissue massage with Grace to help with tight hamstrings and back pain that have been bothering me for a long time. She was able to release the tight muscles, and a couple of days after my massage I am feeling light, pliable, stronger, and very happy.

I wish I could give more stars. I hosted a spa day party over the weekend and the spa went beyond my expectations. Nicole, who was the party coordinator made sure we had everything we needed and provided a semi-private space with fruit and cheese platters at a reasonable cost. There were 7 of us total and there was more than enough food. They also allowed us to bring in additional finger foods and cake. Everyone that received a service was overly pleased with the quality and professionalism of the staff. From the massage therapist, facial technician, and nail technicians everyone did a remarkable job. Just to mention a few names Nicole, Nila, Carols, Reggie, Shayna, Masumi, Okim, and Octavia were all fantastic. I can't wait for another spa party at Serenity Day Spa!! Thank you!!

When I asked if I could use the $20 off coupon I was told no because I had not meant the combined requirement of facial and massage combo. I like this spa but I think the lack of flexibility does not refleck good customer service.

I went in yesterday with neck and shoulder tightness so severe that I was nauseous. Jesus Rodriguez did such a phenomenal job! I've never had a massage before that left me with complete healing. He was amazing! I won't see anyone but him from now on!

The spa was clean and the staff were very friendly. Carlos was my massage therapist and he was lovely - made me feel very comfortable, and he was clearly very skilled. If you've only ever had female massage therapists, the firmer pressure takes some getting used to. The only issue was really my fault, as I didn't speak up when he was using too much pressure and the massage became painful. I'm pretty sensitive in general and don't require a lot of pressure, but for someone with more muscle/more kinks in their back, I imagine Carlos would be a godsend. So I guess my verdict is excellent massage therapist, just maybe not the therapist for me!

I had my first facial ever yesterday and it was an amazing time. Tiffany did wonderful work and gave me some good tips as well. She explained everything she was doing and made me feel very comfortable! I loved the place so much i’ve even decided to have them do my hair next Tuesday! I can’t be more thankful that I found this small gem. If you haven’t been before, you should definitely give this a try and you will be very pleased!

My husband got me the hot stone massage as a gift certificate, but I wanted to get a mani pedi. They gladly let me use the gift certificate for that service. This is the first day spa I have been too, and I think it is very very nice, and very relaxing environment. Their waiting room is big and relaxing. I had Amanda and she was amazing! *CAUTION* Both me and my neighbor have caught this criminal business making multiple small charges on our debit cards. DO NOT GO HERE. They make charges 30 days after your first visit without your consent. I have reported them for more than 5 seperate spaced out charges 30 days after just 2 visits totaling $78. Beware this place its probably doing a lot of fraud on peoples accounts! Wish yakima police would help!

I had jacked up my back doing heavy squats and heavy deadlifts on consecutive days. After hoobling around like a broken old man for a day or two and popping ibuprofin like tic-tacs, I decided a massage might be in order. I was able to schedule a quick same day massage due to a cancellation and was set up with Taneisha. She asked several insightful and probing questions to understand my injury and my wishes. 30 minutes later, I was a new man. The place was clean, relaxing and calming. The team was friendly and professional. Thank you Taneisha. Back pain makes everything more difficult and her professional expertise made me whole again. To coin a phrase: Serenity Now!

I just want everyone to know that I've been very happy with the results I've been getting at Serenity Day Spa here in Yakima WA. I had never been anywhere to get a massage. So I of course was skeptical. But going in with knots in my upper back and neck pain. Kim at Serenity made that all go away. Im a courier and drive a lot and also workout regularly so neck and back pain can be a problem. But now I don't have to worry about that. As Im now a regular at Serenity. They are professional and know their craft very well. Keep up the great work all of you at Serenity as you've made one more loyal customer :)

I was so excited to find this spa in my new neighborhood as I really enjoy my spa services. I booked a 25 minute carpal massage to try to relieve the pain of tennis elbow. The therapist was running late and apologized for keeping me waiting...no big deal things happen. I thought he would still provide the full service but he was apparently trying to make up time because I was only treated for 20 mins. When I commented I thought the treatment was longer, he said it was 25 mins. I certainly did not want to make a scene and debate with him in a "serene environment" and thought I would ask about the time I should expect a service to be. BTW - he had a digital clock in the treatment room that read 4:09 when he was explaining where to hang my robe and left the room to allow me to get situated. No less than one minute later he came back in. Then, when he left the room to allow me to dress I noted the digital clock read 4:31. Now, I am not a mathematician but to me this adds up to no more than 20-21 minutes of actual treatment. Curious about when the clock actually begins with a massage at this spa, I asked the cashier who said "this woman thinks she only had 20 minutes" to another woman at the reception desk. This other woman very definitively confirmed the actual massage should have been 25 mins and then both heads looked away. The cashier continued to charge the full amount with no apology, no trying to confirm, no guest service at all! In the future, I will confirm with the therapist start and end times so there is no confusion.....too bad.

The people are friendly and great and the service was excellent but what kept me from going back is that I received my first two massages at this business and they expected me to know what to do when it came time to receive services. I had no idea. Both massages were different and had to prepare differently so when I asked questions on what I needed to do it felt awkward and made me feel like they viewed me as needy instead of realizing I was niave. Happened both times so I didn't go back. I didn't like feeling like that. I would have rather they asked if I had experienced a message before so they could have anticipated I would need to be told what they wanted me to do instead of expecting me to know immediately. Made the experience more awkward than enjoyable.

If you need a really deep tissue massage, ask for Rob. I've only ever gotten massages from other women, so I felt a little awkward about going in to see Rob for my massage. But it turns out it was exactly what I needed. He was very professional and it was by far the best deep tissue massage I've ever had. I mean, it hurt a lot but that's because I had so many knots that I never knew I had! Rob spent time working the problem areas I knew I had and found tight muscles I wasn't even aware of. Who knew I had knots in my hand muscles? I didnt. He even figured out that I clench my teeth because a certain area of my neck was tight. I was impressed. Definitely will be coming back here the next time I need a massage.

I was looking for a new Massage place today when this spa popped up. My husband bought me a gift card from this spa a few years back that had $200 on it for my birthday. I was in a bad car accident and wasn't able to use it for a year. When i was Medically cleared by my doctors i booked a massage. The massage was fine the staff was friendly but when i went to pay for it they told me that my gift card was not valid. That $200 was wasted and i had to pay more money to them.They informed me that their gift cards are only valid for a year even though its not written on the card. I will never go to this spa again!

I had a $50 gift card for graduation. I spent it on the Spa Pedicure, which is $45... It was not worth one penny of it. Very very overpriced. This was the first pedicure I’ve ever had in my life. I did not get cuticles cut or anything... The technician did not even spend an hour with me, maybe 30 minutes if that. The polish on my toes was done poorly. It has also started chipping after 1 week. Very disappointed & next time will go to a nail salon & pay way less for better results.

When I scheduled my 1st facial with her, I only did it because my friend wanted to try a facial...now, I think I would rather have a facial over a massage. True Gem! I was pretty skeptical at first because the outside looks like a cheap strip mall and then the lobby is tiny. But then Kim, the owner, took us back to the lounge area and the whole place transformed! It was amazing and so relaxing and just perfect, better than I expected. I had Robbin for my 90 minute massage and she was great, she paid attention to all the areas I wanted and asked questions and told me what she was doing. It was a wonderful, relaxing, fun spa day and at a great price. I will 100% be returning to enjoy one of their larger packages and telling all my friends about the place.

Great Masseuses! Each one has a unique and enjoyable massage style. My favorite is a 90 minute Swedish and have never been disappointed, had one masseuse that shorted me some time, but other than that all was good. I will continue to use their services. My one and only complaint is the location. Parking lot is in bad shape and the shopping center is non-existent. Most of the surrounding shops are closed.

I have been working on planning a spa day for a special family event. Sadly, was told one thing 2 weeks ago, only to confirm today that it will not be happening because they never actually put us on the schedule. Lack of communication on both parts I assume, but it was never made clear to us that they needed to have a CC on file for the services & the names of all the party members which is why they state they didn’t add us to the schedule. If we would have known, obviously we would have provided the information. I would recommend that they make it clear from the first conversation with a potential client what is required of them to avoid this situation in the future. I will not be doing business with SDS now or in the future due to their lack of communication & my general disappointment with this whole situation.

My wife and I just had a couples massage for our wedding anniversary. Dana and Robinn were fantastic! We began with a foot scrub with our choice of essential oils. Next, we enjoyed an hour of pure bliss! We were so relaxed afterwards we had to take a nap lol. Both practioners are very talented and I highly recommend them! I got a certificate here. It was clean and professional. But I do have to say I was disappointed. The areas of concern we're really not focused on. I kept wanting my back of neck shoulders, shoulder blades, and back. But she kept going to my arms and hands. (Lol... Mostly did the front of my neck where my glands were which freaking hurt) I also said I wouldn't mind my feet worked on; she only spent maybe 10 minutes on my feet and it was a 90-minute massage. And maybe 20 minutes on my back... :(. Just a suggestion I would try to listen to the clients better about where to concentrate on & stay those areas only. Otherwise has great potential.

While my overall experience was nice, I wish one concern was better addressed. I was booked for the Serenity Essentials Package which included a 50 min massage, facial, and manicure/pedicure. When booking my appointment, I asked if I could upgrade for a gel manicure and the receptionist assured me this would be fine. As I sat down for my manicure, I informed the technician that I wanted to have a gel manicure, and she informed me that she had an appointment right after me and there wouldn't be enough time for her to do gel, and I would need to pick a regular polish. I know that regular polish doesn't last long on my nails, and sure enough, right about 24 hours later, I have 3 nails that have chipped polish. Overall nice experience, but wish customer satisfaction was taken into consideration. I understand appointment times are important, however I'm now taking the time to to pay for another manicure at a different salon to avoid walking into work on Monday with a chipped manicure from Saturday.
