This place is awesome! I've been coming here for some time, and I just picked up memberships for me and my girlfriend. You don't need them, but they do give you a few freebies, as well as discounts, so they seem like a good investment. The salon itself is beautiful, both inside and out. It has a nice, clean, modern esthetic, and all of the tools they use always look brand new. Everyone I've met has been welcoming and professional. They have all kinds of beauty treatment options, and everytime I go I find something new I want to try out! They have always been willing to explain procedures they offer, even if they are clearly out of my price range. So if you're wanting a new look, or just want to get pampered, this is the place to go!

Had my eyelash extensions done here. I booked an appointment a day before and you need to provide your credit card details to hold the appointment. Once there, they make you fill out paperwork regarding your health history. They do offer you water and other beverages while you wait and the place has a charming and relaxing ambience. Chelsey was the staff who talked me through the process and explained all the paperwork that I had to sign. Then we started with the procedure. It took about 2 hours and a half for the whole thing to finish but it was all worth it. I had a very relaxing nap while she gently did magic on my lashes. Now I have longer lashes, I do wish it was a bit fuller and although a couple of my top lashes stuck to my bottom ones and eventually fell off when Chelsey asked me to open my eyes when she was done, she didn’t offer to put them back on. Overnight, I think a couple more fell out but it didn’t really affect the entirety of the look. This is supposed to last for 2-3 weeks but I’ll update this post to see how long this actually holds.

They make you feel very fancy but their work is sub par. I got my hair done for a formal event and I asked for a simple modern French twist and despite my protest, the hair stylist did all of my hair in pin curls. I also had my nails done here and it was the WORST manicure I've ever had. I could have done a better job for much cheaper. Another thing is that everyone who works there pronounces the name wrong. It's supposed to be like LE CHEV-EH, not LAY CHIVEAOW. The way they're pronouncing it means the horses, not the hair.

Most wonderful service and experience for a massage! Vivian was my masseuse and was VERY conscientious of everything I noted on my intake form. I have never had a masseuse ask so many questions on intake as well as made sure that I was completely comfortable. Gloria did my nails as well as my brows, and I was beyond pleased with her work. If you want a clean establishment, and excellent service, then this is the place. I have been to a few other places here in Roanoke, but this was by far the best for all three services!

And I was confronted in the front of the salon and told I was fired. The people that work there are rude and disrespectful. They're language behind the scences is vulgar and disgusting. Prices have gone up. When I went to get my wife a gift certificate to use for scheduling massages as a birthday gift I ended up leaving having to go to another spa/massage place because they were having a "banking issue" and were "temporarily" no longer accepting American Express. The vibe and atmosphere wasn't the same friendly one that my wife had originally experienced with them. We won't be going back.

I have really curly but fine hair and have been searching for a place that knows how to cut it without giving me an afro or just telling me to straighten it. Les Cheveux was amazing!! My stylist Emily had such attention to detail. She explained everything as she was going through the cut and style so I could do something similar at home. I am SO happy with how my hair turned out!! No matter your hair type, I definitely recommend this place! They were super sweet and personalized. Will absolutely be going back.

I've been going to Les Cheveux for several years now for nails and spa services, with an occasional shampoo & blow dry, and have always had a wonderful experience. If my sister-in-law didn't do my hair, I would probably have more hair services there too. I usually have appointments every 1-2 weeks for either skin services, massage, or nails and the facility is always beautiful, clean, warm and inviting. The hair and nail salon, and spa services are definitely the best in Roanoke. If you want consistently good service and a great experience, this is the place to go. They just remodeled in the salon and I really like the beautiful new waiting area (drinks and snacks provided to clients) and the separate drying area for nails. I love the convenience of being able to have everything I need done in one place. There is no other salon and spa in the surrounding area as lovely and well kept with such great service.

DO NOT USE!! Went in, told stylist I wanted RED hair (I've dyed my own hair red SEVERAL times in the past). Stylist not only IGNORED what I wanted, but was VERY rude and made several inappropriate comments. My hair looked EXACTLY the same as when I went in and I left in tears. When I called back, the manager's only solution was to offer to highlight my hair (I didn't want highlights) and to try to get me to use the SAME stylist (if they didn't do it right the FIRST time why would I want them to touch my hair again?)! Ended up going back the next day to talk to the owner. He didn't even listen to MY side of the story. I was pretty much told, "You can have your money back, get lost." NEVER given an apology or allowed to tell my side of what happened. I will NEVER go back there again! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

After researching and visiting several salons in Roanoke to accommodate manicures, hair and makeup for a destination wedding, my daughter settled on Les Cheveux. They were one of two salons that would agree to work with us since there was not time for the "dry run" all the stylists like to do before a wedding. Wendy was super helpful and had a "can do" attitude every time my daughter called. Gloria did my daughter's nails and they could not have been more perfect. Her professionalism and gentleness were superior. Several other manicurists did some of the groom's relatives and everyone was very happy with the results. Lisa did my nails, and I've never had a manicure before. Her warmth and humor relaxed me, and I was very happy with the results. Early the next morning we arrived before opening for my daughter's makeup. Kaylee is a true artist. Also very relaxed and unhurried, Kaylee's makeup work stayed on from 8:30 am until 11 pm when the bride left the reception and still looked fresh and clean. She did not have to touch up AT ALL during the whole day except for a cool cloth on her forehead in the evening from dancing so much. Jen did her hair in a beautiful sideswept updo that also lasted through Roanoke's blowing fall weather, even standing on the front steps of St. Andrew's on the hill for an hour's worth of receiving line! Jen was also very calming and relaxing for the bride that morning. On top of all the superior service and quality results, the price was very reasonable. Oh, and ABOVE AND BEYOND, the salon loaned us a robe from the spa since the hotel we were staying at did not have one and the bride needed a robe for some of the "dressing" photos. (The only thing I would change about the whole experience: I do have to agree with the one reviewer - the ladies need to stop pronouncing the name "the horses.")

I have gone to this salon several times. I went a few days ago wanting a trim, what I came out with was something completely different. I was unaware of how much hair the stylist was cutting off until after the cut was done seeing as she started in the back. Needless to say my hair was long when I went in when I came out it was up to my shoulders, about 6 inches was taken off. I then called to talk to the salon owner about the incident, it has now been 3 days and I've called every day to follow up and nothing I been done. They have been sending me though hoops claiming the owner is busy in training and will call me back. I would never recommend this salon to anyone....

I have had several different things done at Le Cheveux and I have been extremely pleased with all of them! I have had cut, color, and style at the salon side, and I have had Vitamin B shots, waxing, and massage on the medical day spa side. Unfortunately I won’t go back here. Took my mom to treat her to first manicure. Polish had little bumps all in it and polish started peeling off hours later. My nails started peeling off the next day also. I have always recommended Les chevox to others but something has changed there with all there services.

I go to get massages there (Vivian is AMAZING!), and I love how all-inclusive they are. It is more than just a massage: they provide Rea and snacks while you wait, they use heat therapy, they provide wa terrible afterwards...the whole process is very well thought out. They are always improving too! I love the Relaxation Room they just added where you can collect yourself after your massage. There isn't anything I would change about it!

I went there and asked for a blonde balayage and showed a picture. Left the salon after they finished my hair and my roots were the chunkiest I’ve ever seen and my hair was orange. I had to pay 145 dollars for it and now I have to go and pay more to get it completely fixed somewhere else because it looks absolutely awful.

Although the menu of services has an impressive list, we unfortunately were unable to receive our services the day they were scheduled. We visited the area from out of town and were eagerly anticipating our visit to the spa. Our car broke down on the interstate the evening before our appt and we had to be towed to nearby town of Blacksburg. I emailed the spa immediately and called early in the morning the day of our appt and notified management of our circumstances. We tried to move the appts to another day, which they were unable to accommodate, and they informed us we would be charged for a portion of our services. We had a total of four guests in which Les Cheveux required two of us to pay for our services. Spa management showed a total lack of concern for our circumstances and were indifferent to the fact that we made a diligent effort to notify them. This experience left us w a negative view of spa experiences in the city of Roanoke. Les Cheveux is one of the larger spas in the area and really should set the standard for spa experiences in their community...it is to my disappointment that they failed to do so.

They did hair and makeup for my wedding! Talk about absolutely beautiful! The girls brought pictures of what they wanted and the girls were able to do it exactly as the picture! I had a picture myself and the girl did even better with my hair! I was amazed and felt absolutely stunning! Makeup was spot on as well. I don't usually wear much makeup so my makeup still looked natural but was enough to make me look gorgeous! I would definitely recommend them for hair/makeup. They did travel to the venue for an extra charge as well, but it was definitely well worth it for my bridal party to look so amazing!

I visited Les Cheveux last Thursday 12/15/16 for a gel manicure. Seven days later my polish is chipped and looks terrible! I had to get them redone. My $30 manicure also did not include cuticle care or hand massage! The facility looked run down, dirty and disorganized. My manicurist had poor hygiene, dirty nails and hair. When I last visited several months ago, before my stylist Samantha left, the facility was in much better shape. I was completely disappointed and will not be returning.

Please, please do yourself a favor and go see Molly Marshall at this salon! I showed her pictures of the color I wanted and tried to describe to her what I had pictured in my mind. It was a very vague description, but Molly nailed it! I have never been happier with my hair walking out of a salon. It looks identical to the pictures I showed her and feels so healthy even after a full color treatment! Save yourself the time and money of searching for the right hairdresser and go see this sweet girl!

It was a mixed bag. My GPS took me to the wrong address and I was late so that was horrible of me. And they were really accommodating about that. The bad part was- management turned off the water while me and two other women were supposed to be getting our hair washed. I had foils in so they needed to get rinsed. The stylists were embarrassed and apologized when we all ended up having to have our hair washed with freezing water. It was just incredibly unprofessional to do that with clients in the salon. They talked about a discount but it did not happen. Just disappointed after driving in from out of town to what I thought was a high end salon. Not a relaxing experience.

I'm sure there are stylists here that do a great job, however, the stylist that cut my hair left me looking like I had a bad encounter with a weed wacker. I had a bob in my naturally wavy hair and wanted it trimmed and cleaned up. The stylist put in a lot of short, choppy layers that look terrible. Because the layers are so short, it's going to take at least a year to grow this mess out. I recommend researching which stylist you pick.

I don't usually get my nails done here, but I had a gift card that I was using. I was expecting a "spa" experience but it was a very disappointing experience. Although the nail technician was pleasant, the atmosphere was not relaxing or "spa" like. I had a gel manicure and mini pedicure. I am disappointed that my gel manicure has already chipped in just one day. I have not done anything outside of the normal experience to make this happen. For the price I was expecting a better experience. I am going to my regular place today to have them re-do my nails.

I've had my nails done with Gloria and Roxanne was patient enough to paint (including lady bugs) my 4 year old's toes for her birthday. I've had TONS of facials and massages including those with Alicia, Alexis, Brittany, Vivian and Evelyn. This is a wonderful group of women who do a fantastic job under great management who have always been kind, friendly and professional towards me.
