I moved to Lacey in August and had been looking for a new nail place to go to permanently. After I had been here once, I knew this was the place for me. My pedicures are always perfect and if you have any concern, they are sure to work on them until you are happy with no issue or underlying attitude. Their pricing is very reasonableTheir, especially compared to other salons in the area. I have had full sets/fills by several of the nail techs but Ben is definitely the one who keeps me coming back!! He loves his customers, is super friendly, funny, and personable. I really enjoy coming here and will continue coming back.

I have been here before and should have known not to go back. Before I sit down they are pressuring me for the gel nails. I tell them no thank you about a million times. I sit down and the nail tech brings out a bag of tools that look sanitized because of the type of bag they are in. But when the fall out I still see skin from the previous client all over the tools. The nail tech rushed to hide the tools and discretely wiped them with an unsanitzed towel. I tell her I don't want the cutical cutters but she doesn't listen and goes crazy because she is in a rush even though we were the only clients in there at the time. My fingertips end up bloody because of how uncareful she was. After she is done with the polish and I look at my nails I can see areas of thin polish on each nail. She was in such a rush, she didn't even have time to put an extra coat of polish on. Will never return. I hope I don't get some sort of infection.

I HAD been going here exclusively for quite awhile, but since Christmas time I have not been happy. The one that's been doing my nails, in that time, is Julie, one of the owners. She is so rough on my nails that she breaks at least 3 of them every time she removes the gel polish. I also end up having to file off rough edges to keep from scratching myself, it's like she just doesn't care about the job that she's doing, or her client. When she saw me filing off the rough edges, she actually told me that she wasn't going to share the tip with me!! The last time I was there, when she was finished, she said, 'You done now, you can go!' Is that rude, or what??? Then after I got home, I started seeing polish on my fingers, and on my feet (I had also gotten a pedicure)! Seriously!! Was she even looking at what she was doing? Giving one star is too much, but it won't let me give any minus points. I guess you can figure that I will not be going back there...EVER!!

I usually don’t write reviews but this was probably my worst experience ever getting my nails done. I went in on a Sunday afternoon and the guy who did my acrylics was more interested in trying to hurry while watching the football game on the tv behind him that my nails turned out horrible. I got coffin acrylics done with a simple length, something I feel is decently easy to do. But during the filing process he made four of my fingers hurt on the sides because he was pressing down so hard. I tried to disregard it and I just wanted to hurry up and leave. I went to pay and the charge was $42 (which is incredibly overpriced for how short my nails were and how simple the were). I got in my car and noticed all the blood on the sides of my fingers from where he had been filing, and how much gel polish was spilling over my cuticle and onto the sides of my finger, and under my nail. My whole left hand and some of the fingers on my right hand looked awful with all of the blood on the sides and the messy polish everywhere. I was still in the parking lot so I decided to go back in and I told them what had happened. They sat me down and completely took off my polish and repainted them, as well as refunded me $10 out of the $42 I originally paid. But once again the polish is spilling over and it looks so sloppy, like he did it in a hurry not carrying how they looked. I will never go back to this location and I advise everyone else to be cautious. What could have been a simple and enjoyable nail experience ended up painful and almost three hours long.

Hands-down the worst place I have ever gotten my nails done at they messed my nails up and then she proceeded to yell at me because it’s not what I wanted she told me that she would not give me actual square because I had kids and she was nervous that I would scratch them my daughters toe got infected from this place From getting them done there. I had to drive to tumwater location for them to fix my nails rude every time get you in and out fast for a reason. Definitely not about the money it’s about the service of your not a regular there you don’t matter I guess

ABSOLUTE WORST place to go to. Awful service. Very, very rude. If I could rate no stars I would. Shares tools amongst each other to use on each customer. Very unsanitary. Took my girlfriend here for an early Christmas present and they butchered her feet and hands. Toe nails were cut into the nail bed, not even polished all the way. Finger nails chipped the day of. Didn't even give the proper design. Then tacked on extra fees when they went to check out. On top of it all, my girlfriend spoke with the owner on multiple occasions in which he told her he would give the money back, and he kept giving her the run around. I decide to go in myself and spoke with owner over the phone in the location. He was the rudest of anyone else I spoke with. Told me that he never said he would refund the money and told me that he wasn't going to "deal" with me. Spoke over me, and argued with me the entire time. Unprofessional and wouldn't refer or recommend any one that's looking for a quality service to go here. Galaxy Nails is the best place to go!

I've been to a couple of other places, but this salon is the best by far. Julie does an amazing job and is lightning fast. She also does "threading" which I can't find anywhere else. They are always very friendly when you walk through the door and actually take an interest in the patrons instead of talking amongst themselves. I went to get my eyebrows waxed an a full set today an full pedicure. Spend over $100 in their shop on services today. The wait time was longer than any other nail shop I been to before! First they did my feet which was done fairly fast but well. Then as I wait for them to start my next service I am watching new customers walk in getting assistance immediately the services I asked for when I first arrived. So when I decide I had enough waiting I ask to pay for my feet an ask for the wait time for my hands to be done next the lady refuses to give me a actual wait time frame until I mention time, then she say 1 minute as if I haven’t been asking her for actual time in addition to the time I’ve been waiting for my services considering I was one of the first customers. So I decide to give them another chance to finish my services the lady begins my hands an in a rough way to take off my old set an becomes more gentle as I look at her... she still doing my nails an she receives a phone call to my knowledge she’s at work an wouldn’t answer the call but to my surprise she does an begins to have a full conversation on her phone while also doing my nails! Finally I get my eyebrows done I mention not to thin please toward my ends. She says okay an as she finishing up I notice her move my bangs to cover my face I don’t think much of it then, an I glance in the mirror the lights are bright so a glance makes everything looks fine. so I tipped 20$ to the lady an asked her to split it with the lady who did my feet. Once I get to the car an show my boyfriend he points out how shorter my wings are so I checked in his car mirror an see half my right eyebrow gone the one she used my bangs to cover!! If I could post a picture I would, just a fair warning if you go here an ask for services on a busy day for them an your on a schedule yourself expect the very least of professionalism an good service, won’t be back again! I have pictures waiting for approval see for yourself, an save yourself the heartache!

This place has a lot of hype and someone recommended it to me so I went for the first time a few weeks ago. I go and not only was the wait pretty ridiculous but two of the employees apparently didn’t even show up and when one finally did, he was clearly hungover and he had an attitude with me the entire time. He didn’t even talk to me. My nails turned out fine, but chipped excessively, especially since I had gel polish. I’ve gotten my nails done with gel polish before at other salons and I get along just fine. This place is over hyped because young people like it because the employees like to have fun with the customers. That’s cool and everything, but there should still be a basic level of professionalism. Also, I’m not paying $50 for something I can pay $30 for somewhere else. Don’t believe the hype.

I called later to get my money back, and they told me they don't do that. So I went to get my nails fixed 3 days after and they fixed one!!!! The one that broke the day after I got them done. I asked 4 times to get them all fixed I said how much i hated them and the shape and length. I left with my one nail done and couldn't do it so I went back in upset Ben yelled at me in the store and followed me outside yelling at me while customers watched . I'm livid... Very unhappy. I’ve only heard good things about T-Spa so I decided to go there the day of prom. First off, part of this is my fault so I gave them one extra star. I asked for a full set, thinking that meant both a mani and a pedi. I had no reason not to think that since they took me straight to a chair to get my toes done. My friend was with me and we had a conversation with the nail lady as to why she didn’t want to get her nails done, only me, so keep that in mind. The pedicure started off nice, as did the lady. The pedicure wasn’t anything special, but I did get the most basic one. It felt nice, I’ll give it that. One thing to note, she commented on both mine and my friend’s weight and said we’re skinny and asked if we ever ate. Skinny or not, you don’t comment on somebody’s weight in that manner. Then the lady moved on to someone else and I figured she would come back once my toes were dry. She didn’t. She full on left me there and nobody realized I wanted a manicure too. They thought my friend wanted a full set when we literally had more than one conversation with them saying she doesn’t want them at all. After at least 45 min, if not an hour, I was finally acknowledged and was seated for my manicure. I had said I wanted gel, not knowing a full set is acrylic, but I did keep saying I only want gel, not the powder. But it appears they did both, acrylic and gel. Also, I said I wanted white nails and when he explained to me that the white doesn’t age well with gel, I said I’ll change to black. He comes back with white and I reminded him I wanted black but he says to make sure I just wash my hands well. I could tell I couldn’t change his mind. Now, I’m not sure how most full sets go but afterward I googled it and saw that my nails should have at least been taken care of first, like with cuticle oil and such. None of that occurred which is why I went there in the first place, for some TLC!! I think I was a bit blinded by the excitement of prom to realize my full set was pretty haphazard and within just a few days the outgrow displays horrible cuticle growth because they did nothing to take care of them. I feel any decent spa would at least do that for you. Some nails don’t have as great of a paint job as others or seem a bit uneven. In all, I recognize that some of this was my fault, but even if I had wanted acrylics, apparently I was going to get a pedicure no matter what. They seemed to force the most expensive things on me without me realizing it, taking advantage of my newness to getting my nails done. They clearly didn’t communicate well at all either. The guy who did my full set was funny but also a bit arrogant and pushy. I also don’t think it’s hard, from my experience in retail, to tell when somebody is confused. You don’t try to trick them into getting the most money! They won’t want to come back. If you explain things to them first and they still want to pay that much, then alright. But your goal should be to save them as much money as they can, while still giving them the option of other services.

I've only been here a couple of times. The first time I got a great manicure and an OK pedicure. The strong chemical smell was a little overpowering and not like a spa experience. The second time I was super happy with my pedicure but the gal took a file to the surface of my nails (to remove the remaining of their previous gel manicure, I presume) and now my nails are weak and thin. They had the door propped open, though, so the fresh air was nice. The location and ease of walk in is convenient so I will probably go there again but I'm not sure this will be my "go to" place. The price was comparable to my usual day spa that I need to make appointments weeks in advance for.

I almost never leave reviews I never really complain however I'm really annoyed at the fact that I spent$32 for a pedicure I was talked into gel polish when I knew I should have stuck with regular and I explained that I preferred regular over gel but the guy wouldn't leave me be he went into his advertisement of how it lasted longer it wouldn't chip, peel, or stain for two weeks so finally I said okay I'll get gel . Not only did I feel like my service was rushed but the lady that did my toes didn't do a very good job of cleaning off the nail polish before she cured it so 2 days later it started to peel off of 2 of my toes I've been doing everything I can think of to leave it on and finally it fell off last night it was one week exactly, now I'm just patiently waiting for the other one to come off. I've been debating on leaving this review ever since my nail polish started chipping I hope this doesn't happen to someone else , maybe $32 doesn't seem like a lot to other people but spending $32 on my feet I expect a little more than what I got other than sugar scrub included in their price their pedicures are nothing special. I already need another one a week later ....

I wish I had just said something at the time, I feel he really wanted me to be happy with my nails. Thank you again! Original: The staff were very funny and joked around with me, it was a really fun atmosphere. My pedicure was awesome and looks nice. I'm disappointed with my gel manicure. Too much top coat was used and it ran and pooled into the sides of my nails. I asked for a cobweb on my accent nail and it looks like horizontal blinds. I guess you have to know who can do nail art, they could have easily said they were not good at it. The cashier even laughed at it and then charged me for it.

I have been going there for a little while now, I’ve had no problems when my nails haven’t had any problems. I went in the other day after one of the new people had done my nails. I told them my nails were chipping and I needed them fixed. (I only had my nails for a day). They did my other services, but they didn’t fix the nails. I left forgetting I had to get my nail fixed. Now I wake up the next morning and now 2 more nails have cracked. The nails looked beautiful when I got them, but they didn’t hold up for 1-2 days after I got them done... this is the first time this has ever happened from this salon, but it’s not acceptable that it has happened in the first place.

We got 2 full sets and a fill. They were in such a hurry it took just as long for 2 full sets as it did for a fill. My mom and our nails have no shape and were not properly painted due to him being in a hurry. We wanted to go back and get them fixed but didn’t want to be judged and make them worse. We will not be coming back due to caring more about money than spending time to do our nails right. The only nails that look good are my daughters who had the fill that she spent just as long as 2 full sets. If anything she should have been done first with just a fill. We got 2 full sets and a fill. They were in such a hurry it took just as long for 2 full sets as it did for a for a fill.

Very sweet service, the ladies were very kind and asked questions about us/the bride, etc. (we were a bridal party.) we made an appointment and they got us in quickly.

I have only ever had 2 times that I felt it wasn't too my standards it was fixed both times by Julie...2 times out of over 8 yrs...not bad odds at all. When I go I usually make an appointment with Ben. He does a good job on my nails. Ning I believe her name is I loved when she did my nails as well. I'm not a big fan of how they do they pedicures. I feel like I always get the women who really dont do a good job and they never ask me what package i would like as far as the stone and wax but other than that i love the atmosphere! I dont like when they rush on my toes because it definitely shows! Really friendly and I only come to them for my nails!!
