Wow! Their staff really knows what they're doing. First timers just made customers for life! Gale and Megan were fantastic, pin pointed every need for us. And the lady at the front desk was so refreshingly pleasant to be around. Me and my boyfriend really loved this place!

Gig Harbor Massage Envy always has a welcoming atmosphere! I love all of the therapists and the front desk is so helpful and friendly! Only place I will go for a massage!

The massage was mediocre, felt rushed, and there are no areas to really feel peaceful like a spa should. There are no saunas or steam rooms, and definitely no showers. Disappointing. The receptionist girl was very sweet. She was new, but I wouldn't have been guessing that if I didn't ask her. They have to sell you things and there is nothing worse than coming out of a subpar massage and being asked if you liked it enough to come back once a week for a whole year. Kaylee did tell me that there are supposedly 21 masseuses on staff there, but they must sit in the back drinking coffee and twiddling their thumbs all day, it took me a week and a half to get in.

I am very disappointed in this locations customer service. They don't answer the phone at all. You can just keep calling and nothing happens. I understand that all Massage Envy locations are run differently, but wow this one is the worst. I am now living in Bothell and I cannot get anything done because Gig Harbor is horrible when it comes to communicating. I do not recommend wasting your time at this location. Go somewhere else! I would like to give the rating a 0.

From 2016....I HIGHLY recommend Massage Envy Gig Harbor! The therapists are talented, professional and truly passionate about their craft. I've NEVER had a disappointing massage here. The front desk team is thoughtful, kind and skilled in great customer service. These are qualities you simply don't find everywhere and worthy of a five star review. three years later.....8/19/2019. I've been through four different therapists - either they leave Massage Envy, my appointment is cancelled due to someone not coming in for work OR I can't seem to get an appointment at all. Today, after they cancelled my appointment AGAIN they expect me to wait three weeks to be re-booked. I asked what they want me to do? They charge me each month, yet I can't get an appointment? I'm like four appointments paid in advance because I cannot get in!!!! This does not make sense. The "customer service" person said, another option would be for me to cancel my membership. Really? That's your answer to the issue? Of course, the manager is not in today...No one else to speak with. This place used to be so great, but things have definitely changed :(

GIG HARBOR IS THE WORST!!My massage was unbearable. I let the massage person know I only wanted back, neck feet and hands. Well she did not listen to me and started message my upper thigh and I asked her to stop. I let her know again what I wanted. AGAIN SHE DID NOT LISTEN, she spent 4 minutes on 1 of my arms??? why?? I asked her to stop again. She then only spent 30 seconds on my hand. She had spent so much time trying to massage areas I did not want massaged. Even though I was very clear before we started as well as 2 more times during the massage. I could not wait for this hour to be finished. I left there way more stressed out then when I went in. I told the Gal at the counter what had happened. She assured me she would take care of everything. Speed up to 2 weeks later when I get a conformation call for my next appointment with a DIFFERENT therapist. I asked if my last session was charged with the bad massage. She said you you are charged. I told her what happened. She said there were no notes except not to book with this therapist. So, I explained the entire scenario again . She apologized and said she would get back to... NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK! I called the next day and guess what... Not a single note in my file. So I have to explain everything again. UGH. this is way more hassle that its worth. The gal I am explain this to said she is not sure when the manager is in and she has no authority. So now I am scheduled for another massage at a place I hate!! NO resolution, No follow up. Save yourself a ton of stress and go to the Tacoma Massage Envy.

The staff is very pushy about signing up for monthly plan that is very hard to get out of or prevent from auto renewing. No matter what they tell it will auto renew and then you have to jump through a bunch more hoops to get it cancelled
