Healing!!!
I am an experienced floater and Life Float did not disappoint! From the design of the rooms, the decor, to the friendly and engaging staff Life Float is a great center. It's centrally located and helps rejuvenate from a stressful week. For you young professionals or creatives - Life Float is your secret weapon for productivity and wellbeing. Get your first float for $25 when you book online and use the code Pearce. It's my way of welcoming newcomers to the practice. Enjoy!
Private room with a private pool. Friendly and helpful staff. Infrared heaters above the pool to keep you warm your entire float.
This was our first life float experience. The level of relaxed professionalism is worthy of quiet applause. The entire experience is orchestrated to ensure a quality visit and repeat clients. I am so glad to have visited life float.
I love this place. Great customer service, it's always clean and easy to book. Plus I've always found parking relatively easily.
I love this place! I've been to other float places in the area and this place is so much better! The service is top, the water is perfect (plus it's a pool rather then a pod) and they are a bit cheaper.
Incredible place.
Yesterday, I experienced my most amazing day. It all started with my session at LIFE FLOAT. I felt a complete mind , body connection of absolute relaxation. Since my stroke just a year ago, I had not been able to connect the mind/body in the way the float session made me feel. I went in with my body feeling ridged and tight. I came out loose and more flexible and so relaxed. It made me feel all connected. I felt awesome! After the float session, I enjoyed lunch, shopping at the mall and dinner with my daughter and grandson. I had a full day of outing, (where usually it’s been 2 to 3 hrs.) I have been working with other alternative modalities, such as acupuncture, chiropractic, massage therapy, cold laser and others. But, the float has been the most effect mind/body balancing experience. I highly recommend it to everyone. The staff at LIFE FLOAT was exceptional at answering my questions and getting me prepped for my first float.
this is an amazing and immaculate place. for a first-timer, there is an excellent intro video and super easy online booking system. very responsive to questions by email. my visit was really special and I felt most welcomed. the float rooms are very clean and totally "smart" and futuristic. float itself was very soothing and relaxing. like a water hammock that supports all of your body. it's dark and quiet (which they ease you into) with the exception of relaxing music of your choice. there are even floats for your head and neck if you choose. the tea selection in the post chill room is great with very cool artwork and some great books. everyone should experience this relaxing environment and technique. I'm definitely returning!
I had a good float but did not like the pushy sales people as I was leaving.
I just finished my first ever float here, and I can honestly say that I didn't just have a great experience, I pretty much had a religious experience. Kristian was so awesome to help me get through my first float and explain how it all works and what packages I can use to help keep my body in tune with what I need it to do. The rooms were the floats were private, warm and inviting from start to finish and music is provided if you don't want to float in silence. The whole time while in the pool I felt safe and in control, which I am not sure I would have felt if I were in a pod version of the same experience. When I was finished, I felt something that I had not felt in a long time; no pain and energized at the same time. I guarantee you will fall in love with this place and this kind of self-care because I know I will be going back as regularly as I can now.
Great place to relax!
Awesome staff, very clean and relaxing atmosphere. Amazingly accommodating and kind folks. Highly recommend.
Great place and super reasonable pricing
I love this place
Clean facility, calming environment, just the relaxation time I needed. Staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful getting our group ready for our session.
I love the open room instead of a tank. I also appreciate how knowledgeable the staff is and that there is a quiet space to relax before and after a float.
Remarkably incredible n the Staff A1 5 stars , thank you
The staff is very welcoming and the experience of the float itself is almost indescribable! Incredibly relaxing and therapeutic!
The reviews are correct. This is my first float and the support staff couldn't be more helpful. They explained the hole process and what to expect. I highly recommend!
I have been to a few float places in Seattle and found this one via Groupon. Since then I wouldn't go anywhere else! What I like about this place is the size of the tanks, the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms and the friendly staff. The only thing I didn't love about tanks was that I sometimes got a little cold, however they recently improved their heating system and I am able to float in comfort.
Wonderful atmosphere, great staff, highly recommend for anyone seeking a more mindful experience.
Such an AMAZING place. I highly recommend it for relaxation.
Amazing place! So relaxing and wonderful.
Wonderful and relaxing!
Great open float - very relaxing atmosphere.
AWESOME! I went in, in some fairly decent muscle and internal pain on my first visit, half way through my float I stopped hurting pain never came back. My mother and I both now love this place for therapy. For anyone with body pain, psychological conditions, or just enjoy seeking Zen I would recommend here. I tell all my clients to go visit them even. I'll be back soon!
Great environment, fabulous staff, relaxing, open floating experience (not enclosed in pods).
Its like an isolation tank but with out the tank. Great for me cause I'm tall. This place is great, wish I could go every night. Super clean. Great meditation shortcut. If you haven't tried sensory deprivation yet you are missing out. Do it a few times so to can used to it. You have to practice.
Life Float was my first experience with floating and I'm beyond impressed! The rooms are private and luxurious, and staff is really helpful and considerate. This is a wonderful plave to get renewed and rejuvinated!
Open air tanks lack the ability to control the ambient temperature and humidity and it definitely affects the float negatively. Salt dries out on your skin and the air temperature is different from the water temperature.
If you've never tried floating before, Life Float is definitely the place to have your first experience. The staff are knowledgeable, warm and respectful. The space is serene and clean. The private room, open float tank and clean shower will keep me coming back in addition to the muscle recovery effects. I tend towards stiffness and inflammation physically. With increased cycling mileage recently, this has been an exciting adjunct for me. I went on a hike the day after a long ride and a float - it was like I had not even ridden the day before. Now I'm hooked. :)
Relaxing.
This place is awesome and it is amazing how even after just one float how much better I felt and relaxed. It takes a little getting used at first but I have felt more relaxed after floats than I have felt after massages.
LifeFloat is lovely. If you've never floated before, it will probably feel weird at first, but trust me this becomes part of your self care routine pretty easily. LifeFloat offers what I felt was a safer environment than the normal "pods". Private room with private shower and a big giant tub to float in. They allowed me to pick my music and I could control the lights. Although they did go off and scared me at first I was able to turn them back down on low and just enjoy this meditative experience. The environment allowed me to relax and focus on myself peacefully for a solid hour. The entire experience was such a joy!!!
Open air float pools with options for lights/ music or dark/quiet. It was only my first time, I found it relaxing and bought 2 more! I did lots of research and went thru their website thoroughly. I enjoyed both dark and lights.
Cute, clean, easy to find location. Not a good place for new floats. Try somewhere else. I found the staff to be courteous but not helpful for a newbie. I like the layout of the rooms. You have to go into the shower to get to the pool. However, make sure you grab extra towels!!! They only put one in each room. Who showers and washes their hair with one towel? Plus you'll want one for the wet floor. Overall the pools are ok. I like the way it doesn't feel claustrophobic like the pods do for some people. Definitely a place for those of us with bigger bodies who secretly fear we won't be comfortable in a tank or pod-style float. I was distracted a few times by the room temperature because anything sticking out of the water was cold. I am glad I went, but I probably wouldn't go back. However, I would recommend it to those with claustrophobia fears. BONUS: they are ADA compliant and have a room specific for those with mobility issues
I absolutely LOVE Life Float. I am so grateful to have found such a beautiful place to relax and revive in. I always walk away with no muscle tension. This place is like no other and I have floated at several places in WA, CA and NV. These float rooms are way better than a pod. By far, the best float ever. The staff is so friendly and management is very knowledgeable. I am now a member and look forward to my floats every time!
I'm not a huge fan -- the water is just slightly below body temperature, so you still _feel_ the water.
The whole experience and atmosphere was beyond Amazing. You feel so rejuvenated afterwards and leave with a smile on your face in a positive state of mind. The staff are so welcoming and want you to enjoy your time; along with the setup of the rooms, BEAUTIFUL. Thank you Life Float Family and a special thank you to Kristian! Definitely will recommend.
I'm sure if you go regularly it helps relax but kinda strange the first time. Wouldn't mind coming back in the summer.
This place is amazing! I'm from out of town and walked past and saw they have a great first timer special. The tub is huge and you have a private bathroom. Plus they have a room where you can blow dry your hair after! This place is much nicer than where I usually go at home. I wish I lived near a lifefloat!
Very clean, inviting environment. Love that they have open small pools rather than pods. Easy to schedule and to get in and out. I feel noticeably more relaxed days after my floats. Great experience!
Great experience. Very relaxing.
First time and I enjoyed it! It took me a few minutes to really relax but once I did...WHOA!
Lost track of time and it ended just a little after i began getting anxious and thinking I would never last the whole hour
Clean, professional, helps relax my back and jaw muscles after just one float, and super friendly staff.
As a small family run business that focuses on bringing health and wellness to our community it's crucial we recharge our batteries... And, we would be doing a disservice if we didn't highly recommend checking out LifeFloat. There private rooms give you the spa-like feel, while you disconnect from all the outside distractions and center on your thoughts. Give it a shot! -Andrew #liftyourvibes
Excellent facility. Super clean. Each float room has its own shower, toilet and sink. Lights and music are easy to control. Float rooms are spacious so no one should feel claustrophobic. Water temperature was just right. Room for improvement: they should supply better ear plugs (glad I brought my own).
Such a beautiful facility. Clean and welcoming. I was surprised at how warm I was during my float. It was perfect. Instant relaxation. I look forward to my next visit!
Highly recommended way to totally chill-out. Life Float is THE place to get away from it all and focus on yourself. Facility is super inviting, clean, and personable. Staff is great - always know your name and preferences. If you're looking for a way to relax yourself or looking for a different gift for someone special, check out Life Float!!
Life Float is Awesome ! My first floating experience and enjoyed the large open rooms as someone who is 6'6". Staff was friendly and very helpful in trying out the floating experience. I was amazed to feel so calm, centered and grounded but full of energy. Everyone should try it, I can't wait to go back !
Very clean and nice..
While the water was warm the room wasn’t. Any part of my body not submerged (chest, stomach, toes) was really cold. So I got out of my float and pressed the intercom button to ask them to turn up the heat. No answer. Got back in, continued to freeze. Got up and called again. No answer. It’s really difficult to get into a relaxing state when all you can think about is how cold you were. Facilities were clean and new. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided but did little to get the salt out of my hair; I had to shower again when I got home. Overall unimpressed and disappointed, luckily I only paid the first time $49. Definitely not worth the regular $89 price.
My experience with Life Float was very positive: had my first float last Sunday, where I was able to relax and get relief from the stress of everyday life. Floating made me feel like I was in a parallel space, where I could leave all worries behind and re-energize myself - I highly recommend it!
2nd time going, really relaxing and helps me feel positive
My first Float session was a gift from my Dad. I decided not to set any expectations for what I should expect out of my first floating experience (I continue to try and do this as every float is a little different). The Life Float staff that greeted me were Ash and Noelle (Awesome individuals BTW). They asked me what type of music and lighting I wanted which I replied ‘I’m not sure’. They took the time to offer suggestions and I ended up going with ambient sounds with a gradual fade to darknesses coupled with silence. I was told stillness would have a warming effect. While movement would have a cooling effect. (This was a very good tip) Ash gave my a tour of my own float room taking the time to explain the lighting and sound controls. After I had showered and shampooed my hair I entered a lovely pool of warm Epsom Salted water. (Life Float uses over 1500 pounds of Epsom Salt in their ‘open’ pools.) My first Float was more than I could’ve ever expected! Floating at Life Float is like lying on the most comfortable bed of my life. I even feel asleep a few times. Talk about pure and total relaxation! After every float I try to at least spend 10-15mins in the lounge area just to enjoy some of the after effects of my float before jumping back into the real world. For me Life Float offers a great opportunity to take out sometime for oneself to relax, recharge and reset. We’ve all heard that stress kills. I believe that integrating small relaxing habits (like floating) gives the body a break from all of the day to day stress. Floating is now one of the ways I can reset my mental/emotional and physical states. The after-float-glow is real for me. My entire day after every float has been more peaceful and less stressful. I highly recommend Life Float.
At first I was skeptical because the spa area was a spa size tub instead of a enclosed pod . My experience was beyond my expectation. Staff was superb and patient for new/first time floater. Having a larger space does NOT CHANGE the experience, instead heighten your experience. The advantage of floating in a spa rather than a pod is your range of motion, with a larger size tub you are able to spread out like a pancake if you so wish. I am 5'11" at the end of my session I flipped 180 degrees without realizing it.
Woah experience
I had a very minor back surgery, it burned so bad it ruined my float experience 2 weeks after the surgery. However they were so nice here that they gave me a chance to come again for a free float to make up the experience.
I could not recommend this place more! It is truly one of the best experiences I've had in quite some time. The staff is friendly, laid back, and professional. The relaxing intro room with teas and water sets the mood before being taken back to your personal float room with a private bathroom and shower. Once showered you get into the open air pool (not a pod like some other places) and relax. The sensors know when you've entered and after five minutes the lights slowly dim to darkness (you can have lights on if you prefer but I highly recommend the dark). Then 50 minutes of bliss then the lights slowly come back on (5 mins) and then you shower and dress. It's a magical feeling. Not only will I be back but my girlfriend and I are going to look into membership. Now that I've done it I don't know how I've gone this long without this in my life constantly! Please try it! You will not be disappointed! And for first timers it's only 49$! Well worth it!!!
Experience overall was nice. Facilities were pretty clean, however I noticed the construction of the rooms wasn't done very well, peeling/missing caulking, chipped tiles, tubs are a little worn. Staff were nice and helpful!
Life Float is easily my favorite float place I've ever been to for many reasons starting with the open tubs instead of a pod secondly the staff are all friendly and easy to connect and I trust the rooms are clean and that my experience will be nothing less than blissful every time. I love floating here. There's also no chlorine in the water! a big plus for me. (sensitive skin) anyways best place to float at I've ever been to. I look forward to more visits!
Great place to relax, great staff.
Great experience. Looking forward to my next Float.
I schedule a session for my husband, for Father’s Day and he totally LOVED IT!!! He said it was one of the best relaxing experiences. The nice is super clean and nice! Totally recommend it.
Fun! Weightless and effortless. Thanks for making the first time float so approachable!
My new favorite zen spot!
I opted in for the 7 floats in 7 days option and it has been really amazing! The staff have been so helpful, the towels are clean and cozy, the music is soothing, and, most importantly, the experience has done wonders for my creative life. I've connected with myself in a way that is difficult with all of life's distractions. Floating daily is a really powerful practice and I definitely recommend trying it out! If you are claustrophobic, this is a good spot because the float is like a very large bathtub. You don't have to lower any lids or be inside of any small spaces. You can always turn on the light in the middle of a float if you need to for any reason. If you are in room 5, be sure to grab an extra towel to put at the foot of the door to block the light...it is the room closest to the door and the only one I have found to not be pitch black. A towel does the trick though!
LifeFloat is my favorite place to float. I love the spacious pool rooms with their own toilet and sink. Their cleaning and sanitation is TheBest. They don't use chlorine, which is very important to me. The employees truly care about and love their work environment as well as every customer that walks in the door. They're truly invested in your experience and do all that they can to make sure you are happy with your time spent there. I love getting to know the attendants when I come in to float. They are so happy to talk with people and really let you know how much they appreciate you! This business is truly about health and well being. I always feel so cared for when I go. I'm honored and truly happy to be a member there, best decision I"ve made this year.
Sensory deprivation was recommended by a friend, and I was pretty nervous when I showed up. Friendly, reassuring staff walked me through what I would experience and answered all my questions. It helps to be in the right mindset before you float, but it's always relaxing. I've already booked my next float.
This is how floating should be! You get your own private room with a sink, toilet, and shower as well as a generously sized float pool. They provided everything from ear plugs, to towels, to petroleum jelly for open wounds (what a good idea). The lighting was excellent, music was an option, and there was a float to support your neck if needed. I was so impressed I purchased the into package right after I was done. Fair warning, the water is probably more salty than you think so try not to get it in your eyes!
Best place ever! Clean, relaxing and service oriented. Found the best place to relax/meditate weekly rebalancing myself. Have been to other float spas but hands down this the best. Highly recommended

Floated for the first time in Saturday. It was an incredible experience. The staff were nice and sweet and gave a detailed description of what to do before and after. The private room was very clean and just the right temp. The only complaint I have (not a big one since I assume people shower when they get home...or at least you should lol) is that you only have 10 minutes to shower, dry off and get dressed afterwards. Other than that I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking to experience a float.
Very relaxing, definitely worth considering returning.
Cool experience with good deals for first timers. Careful not to get salt in your eyes ;)
I went to LifeFloat today to float for the first time. Their marketer dropped by my office and briefly explained it, so I decided to try it. The experience was incredible. I was brought into the room where I was going to float and was pleased to see that it was private yet open. The pool was fairly large, and the room itself had the ability to be light and soundproof. After my float I felt very calm and relaxed, a feeling I rarely experience. One of the women working there sat and talked to my friend and I for about a half an hour afterwards and shared with us how she got into floating and what it has done for her. Floating gave me a safe and relaxing space to be alone with or without my thoughts. It was like a therapy session where salt water was the therapist. I will definitely be returning.
Clean, friendly, and relaxing!
Give it a try, you’ll like it. Super clean and efficient experience. You can opt for whatever lighting and music arrangement you want or go for total darkness and silence (recommended). The salt helps with bouency so you don’t have to think about floating at all. There is a foam pillow to provide extra head support if you want (I enjoyed it without the pillow). Each room is private with a sink, toilet, shower (soap, shampoo, conditioner included), and an 8 ft x 4 ft pool. The pool is large enough to allow you to stretch out in various positions and doesn’t get claustrophobic at all. Prior to your float you are give a towel, vaseline to cover open cuts, and ear plugs (put them in before your first shower for optimal effectiveness). Very calming experience, I even fell asleep for a bit. Temperature in the room and water was perfect: not too hot, not too cold. I purchased the started three pack, because I will certainly enjoy going back. One recommendation would be to add some lotion in the private rooms, skin can get pretty dry.
I always leave relaxed and renewed.
The rooms are awesome. The float rooms are very spacious and open. Pretty pricey though, it is definitely a commitment, but had some great floats here. Very professional staff.
Always enjoy the rest and peace of this float spa.
I am a HUGE fan of LifeFloat in Seattle (Yale St.). The staff (particularly Veronica and James) were extremely friendly, highly knowledgeable and made my first float experience awesome! I have since floated 7 more times and each time was just as enjoyable as the first. I have already referred a number of my friends to LifeFloat and they have been just as satisfied with their experience. I have lower back pain and floating was great for that (and for some quiet meditation). Check it out. You won't regret it!
Great facility and helpful staff. There is some noise from construction (but only briefly, during one of my two floats). I much preferred the integrated float tanks to the standalone float pods of other facilities.
Amazing experience
Very relaxing but a bit spendy
nice place
I recently started floating here. The health benefits have been amazing. I feel more energized. My sense of balance has improved. I feel more calm and at peace. The staff have all been so friendly and helpful and I would recommend this place to anyone.
Never done anything like this, and I enjoyed the experience. The people are real friendly and calm (almost a little too calm) and will help you understand the experience. Kinda regret listening to the music the entire time, as my mind kept drifting. I would recommend this if you have never done it before.
LifeFloat = Peace of Mind. The staff is professional and assuring and the private rooms provide a comfortable experience. While I was skeptical at first, I've continued to return from each float with a greater sense of inner peace and clarity.
Once I got used to the whole thing and relaxed, it was an amazing experience. Highly recommend! Can't wait to do it again.
So wonderful! Megan was great at going over the process and even rehashing the experience with me after. I like this much better than the pods as it feels more open and spa like. Extremely relaxing.
My favorite place to float. Really great atmosphere in a bustling city.
Girlfriend got me a gift card to try this out. Went in without any expectations and it turned out to be a pretty neat experience that I'd do again. Facilities are clean, and the staff is both friendly and personal. Once you start your float, the lights dim and then it's as dark as closing your eyes-- floating in space you might say. If you're into meditation and mindfulness, this would be right down your alley. I'd recommend giving them a try to see for yourself.
Wasn't sure what to expect, or if I would even enjoy a float tank. However, I must say that I was completely blown away by the experience! From the friendly staff that explained everything, to the clean facilities - it's a great way to decompress and relax. The first 10 minutes were a little unerveing, as I thought to myself "what am I going to do for an entire hour?" After 15 minutes I sunk into a deep relaxation state, and felt my stress melt away. I was a bit apprehensive to see the lights coming back on, as I wanted to spend even more time in the saltwater. Will definitely be back!!
Unique experience - very safe, very clean, very enjoyable.
A unique, peaceful experience!
FANTASTIC! I totally RELAXED in that hour.
I absolutely love floating at Life Float. The premises are attractive and clean and the staff has always impressed me - so friendly and courteous! I enjoy my floating experience here more than Urban Float because it is quieter and feels less cramped. I don't know if it's just my perception or actually reality, but the floating pools seem bigger. I always feel so relaxed and recharged after a float here. Highly recommend!
Clean facilities, friendly and helpful staff, inviting waiting area. I went here for my first-time float and would absolutely return.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!! Great staff and awesome concept all the way around!
