Fantastic customer service today! And it was very refreshing indeed. Came in for our daughters color retouch. Her regular stylist moved away. We needed a color match done. The stylist and manager were prompt to put us at ease and did an excellent job with the color match. Spot on and it turned out wonderful! We already rebooked 5 weeks out. We appreciated the wonderful experience.

They ruined my hair and my nails for my husbands home coming. Edit since these chicas think it's ok to lie. they did do my hair.. they gave me a frickin mullet - ask Wendi Sjodin, she isn't the one who cut it but she is the one who looked it over after the cut and instantly gave me my money back and offered to fix it once it's grown out. That is what I'm most furious about. Welcome to the island.. where standards don't exist. *I even cried to the nail tech about how someone THERE had ruined my hair. Why did I go back? I figured only one of them sucked but clearly that's not the case. This picture was taken right after one of the girls at Allure basically attacked me with scissors. Yeah... having a ton of fun growing out this disaster, oh and it wasn't tucked behind me ear, she just shaved that part off.. the nails.. whatever, those are long fixed. My hair however is going to take a long time to look normal. Go at your own risk. And about my baby, he slept the whole time while I was getting my hair cut so there is no blaming that failure on him. The nails.. yeah, but the hair.. that's on them. Oh and one last thing I did not leave happy I left SOBBING because the nail tech claimed she could do something she obviously couldn't do when we got in the chair and she even admitted that she couldn't do it a while after she had already started. Her lack of skill was made obvious before my baby decided he had enough but I was to far in to turn back.

My experience was nothing short of excellent! Here is my story: I have been dying my hair JET BLACK since I was an 11 year old (what was my Mom thinking?) and yes it was Ion's Jet Black. Maybe one step above black box dye but still considered box dye. After 14 years of having the same old straight jet black hair I decided to give myself a little makeover. I wanted to change my hair, however I was so discouraged because everywhere I went the stylists would tell me there was no way I could do anything "cool" with my hair, it would take years to get the hairstyle I wanted. I felt trapped, and upset with myself. After being shot down so many times and feeling discouraged about my black hair I met Brittanee Lee in the sauna at the gym and I asked her what she thought I should do with my hair. My gosh she was full of so many ideas and was so excited to do my hair! A week later I came in and she went straight to work. We were almost done when she realized my hair was a bit copper. I was extremely happy, but she was not. She knew my hair would fade and I would not like it after a few washes. So she toned it, and toned it, and worked so hard on my hair. She knew if she dyed it anymore, my hair would be so damaged, she kept it nice and healthy. She did what was best for my hair and did not harm it at all.She was honest the entire time, she didn't build me up with fake promises like some stylist do, she seemed very sure of her work which made me feel confident. I can tell this girl has awesome work ethic and integrity. She finally finished around 4 hours later and my hair was amazing. I felt/feel like my hair is so beautiful! She gave me a nice ombre of brown, light brown, and a hint of a beautiful maroon. It all blends so nicely and not uneven.I am going lighter and lighter soon. I could tell her thank you a million times over and over again for giving me confidence again and bringing life to my hair. It may sound cheesy but it changed my life. And has restored happiness and improved my self esteem. Thank you again Brittanee and Allure Salon.

One star because whoever runs their listing is a liar. My wife went there for nails and a haircut. They butchered her hair so she left a bad review. When she left a bad review, they said that they never did her hair. So if your looking for an honest establishment keep looking.

I feel bad for anyone leaving a bad review..... they must have not had the opportunity to meet Patty! HOLY MOLY YOU GUYS! I moved up to Oak Harbor from Seattle. 20 long years in Seattle. Big city, to small little town where everything closes at 8pm. I had two outstanding hairdressers for the last decade, one whom I went to beauty school myself with, and the other an amazing hair artist with a hand of gold! The thought of having to find a new one in this little town gave me so much anxiety, I just didn’t do anything to it for over six months. Recently, I saw a post in one of the local neighborhood community boards and all I saw was, “Patty, Patty, Patty!” If this many people had rave review about one lady, there had to be some validity to it! After waking up the next morning unable to stand my grow out anymore, I called and made an appointment with Patty. Fast forward to today. Had my appointment, which was so wonderful! Cute salon over by the water, who carry and use top of the line products. Patty was a joy to spend a few hours with! But the absolute best part of it all is MY HAIR! It’s truly incredible

Got my nails done here today, and I had such a great experience! I actually had my acrylics done at another spa, but needed a fill when they had no availability. I can definitely say that I am coming to Allure from now on! Patty was so nice and talkitive the whole time, and she asked specific questions to make sure my nails were exactly the way I wanted them to be. I left loving my nails even more! Definitely going back for all my fills, and maybe their other services they offer too.

It's a beautiful salon, well maintained, and the salon is full of beautiful hair dressers, but what they have in looks they lacked in service. I went there a month before my wedding to get highlights, I read good things about them online so I was pretty excited! But when I got there, they were not friendly, and the girl rushed my job, my highlights where weird, some super thin, others oddly thick, and very uneven at the root. Its not what I thought I'd be.

I started out happy with their services and I typically pay close to 150 with tip for high lights. Over the course of 5 visits I grew more unhappy. They have a habit of sandwiching in clients and while that may work for some...they left me under the dryer too long and not only turned my hair orange but fried it. I went back several weeks later (my mom paased away) and not only did I have to pay 140 for them to fix it...they made it much worse. Their inattentiveness cost me a year of hair growth and a lot more money to a name salon in anacortes.

I had an appointment with Emily yesterday, her and the salon were great! The receptionist greeted me with a smile when I came in and Emily was awaiting my arrival. She was very nice and made me feel super comfortable. We looked through a couple of different pictures I had brought in and decided to go with a long pixie. I was a bit nervous about my hair but because I was going shorter than I had ever in the past but she assured me it would be great, and away she went customizing my hair cut. Once cut and styled, Emily touched up my bangs and texturized it perfectly to my liking. Emily made my hair look exactly as I pictured.

I've been getting my hair colored for 30 years. Red is a difficult color to maintain because it fades so fast and when your hair grows fast like mine, I normally have to get it touched up every three weeks. Well, I've been going to Allure for the past 6 months and noticed they blended two bowls of color: one specifically for the new hair growth (roots) and a different formula for the rest. That was new to me and I was like WOW when it was done because there was no noticeable difference in the roots vs. the rest of the hair for the first time in my life! And I hit the jackpot because I don't have to have it colored near as often because of the good product and state-of-the-art technique they use. It's a gorgeous, clean, happy salon. I love it!

I can't say enough about these ladies! Wendi has been doing my hair for a few years now. Anyone with red hair knows reds are tricky, but Wendi amazes me with her talent every single time!! My color and cut is always fresh, healthy, and vibrant! She genuinely cares about her clients and her work and it shows in all the work she does! Megan is a fantastic nail tech and now student stylist! She introduced me to poly gel that gives my nails strength and a lasting manicure in a healthier way. She is also incredibly artistic and has a great personality. I have seen Carissa for a style for a special event. She did an amazing job! I had long lasting curls all through the night and the next day. An impressive challenge for my very straight hair that drops curls within a few hours. I also get services from Ariel and Deborah, and my son sees Alyssa. These ladies are also incredibly talented, knowledgeable, have wonderful personalities and care about the quality of their work. We are never disappointed from our services at this salon! It's always top notch quality!

I love this salon! They're open on Mondays for starters, they have all the hair products I use, I can get my hair done one hour and lashes the next. Patty does my hair.. she's extremely sweet and does a fantastic job! Courtney does my lashes and they're always so beautiful and fluffy!!
