I've been running as a way to get in shape and I get sore. The Thai Herbal massages are great on my legs and hips - I prefer it to the Thai-European massage. In the Thai massage, you get more muscles worked on since you wear clothing. There is also more pressure to the massage. If you don't like hard pressure, you probably won't like it, though. I have a membership, so I've seen at least four of the massage therapists at Thai Origins. They have all been professional and great.

I had my first Thai-Euro massage experience this weekend with Nae. Not only was the massage incredible, but it really helped me deeply relax and alleviate some long term issues I had going on. She was able to work out so many knots in the upper and lower back areas from stress, sitting at the computer, etc. I'd also had issues with numbness in the arms, and it helped TREMENDOUSLY. I highly recommend this experience and looking into their monthly membership for wonderful prices.

I've been going to Origins Thai Spa for about a year now to receive treatment for my lower back and other problems associated with being an avid exerciser. I have always received a tremendous massage here. I wasn't a big fan of their old location (I live in Ashburn, and it was just too far for me), but they recently moved to a new facility in Sterling, Virginia, and it's pretty amazing (definitely a first-class facility!). In the past year, I've gotten to know a number of the practitioners, and they are all very skilled at massage and generally very sweet people. I would highly recommend going to Origins if you would like a great massage!

I absolutely adore this spa! I’ve never had a better massage in my life than the massages I have received from Jenny and Cee. The rest of the staff are excellent massage therapists too, but Jenny and Cee are my go-to. The spa itself is very clean, the membership package is a fantastic value, the location is great for me, and the front desk receptionist is extremely friendly. I can’t recommend this spa highly enough.

This was my 1st time in Origins and highly enjoyed it. It felt like a 5 star spa. Highly recommended it. I normally go to Red Door Spa, but decided to try something new. The customer service and attention was great as soon as I came to the door. They welcomed me with hot delicious tea and the masseur attended my right on time for my appointment. The facility is very clean, almost impeccable. The ambiance is very relaxing and peaceful. I highly recommend Salasi. She provide a good deep massage that releases all the knots in my tired muscles. They also pay attention to details that not many spas do such as providing pillows for legs and neck. However, they should consider having heated beds and more warm and cozy covers. Anyhow, I look forward for a follow-on session and getting familiar with the rest of their facility and services.

I had the Deep Tissue massage with Lily. She unknotted muscles frozen into huge knots from a year of sitting at the computer all day, never exercising, and tons of stress. The spa is clean and soothing, and the staff attentive. Lily is an expert who not only gives a very therapeutic massage, but offers advice and gentle stretching exercises to alleviate chronic muscle tension and pain. I'll definitely go back, and am eager to try some of the other massages on Origins' extensive menu!

I found this place through Groupon and it really exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing and Kanta was wonderful. I could tell that she cared about my wellness as she explained how tough muscle knots are formed in my neck and upper back. I had I insomnia and recently and I slept so soundly for the first time in forever. She listened to me and I left feeling so much better. I highly recommend Kanta for Deep Tissue Massage. If you are working out and your muscles need some TLC, I highly recommend OTS.. Kanta is Awesome!

I generally book with Kanta whenever she's available since I like her style but I've also had some good massages with other therapists. Thus far I've always gone for the traditional Thai massage since I like the stretching component but I'm also planning to try the deep tissue massage. I was not sure what I was going to experience, but was looking for relief. I received healing and exactly what I needed from Aidah. Not only was she an amazing massage therapist but a true healer. She took my breath away when she went deeper into tissue, but she calming lay guided me to breath. By the end of the 60 minutes, I felt brand new. Just amazing.

I could do massage every day if I had the time and the money! I’ve tried many places in NoVA and beyond before I found Origins Thai Spa. The atmosphere is very soothing and relaxing and your relaxation experience starts as soon as you step in. The staff is very polite and helpful. I’ve tried Thai massage with stretching and Thai Herbal and I loved both although Thai Herbal is my favorite. They use hot herbal balls which smell good and help to release muscle tightness. You can extend the rejuvenation session by drinking lemongrass or pandan tea and enjoying the quietness of the room and some aroma therapy. I’ve signed up for a monthly massage which is a good deal because you can choose any massage for a flat monthly fee. You also get a guest certificate each month for a free massage for a friend. I could totally go to Origins every day ! 

I have been going for years and with a bad back and weak hamstrings is the only place that helps with my issues . In particular Jane is my massage therapist and by now she knows exactly what to focus me on and to challenge me with accepting some initial pain to help with my back and hamstrings “no pain no gain” as she says. If you go long term like me it’s a no brained to take the annual contract. With a facility in Arlington and one in the way in Alexandria, this chain is expanding. My thanks to Nae who manages day to day at this location and of course Uma who is part of the wonders hip group. Everyone is polite and helpful and very clean rooms and restrooms . A definite recommend .

That is exactly why it is so impressive and rare that Origins Thai Spa can maintain its outstanding level of service and reputation even amongst a sea of similar providers who are "fine". We got a groupon for a couples massage for hubby and me. The first impression we had entering the Sterling location was "serenity". I had Amber and husband had Nittha. Both of our massages were spectacular. Furthermore, I really appreciated not being hard sold on membership or a return visit. Because of that, we will be back.

Hands down one of the best massages I've ever had (and over the past few years I've had a lot...). Due to extended periods of time working on the computer combine with intense shoulder workouts several times a week (boxing and kickboxing), I'm very prone to knots around my shoulder blades. Decided to give Origins a try with their 60-minute deep muscle massage. Am SO glad that I did. Their 60-minute deep muscle was better than most 90-minuted deeps I've had at other places. I was so amazed by the difference I felt, as soon as I stepped out of the massage room, I immediately asked if they had any membership options available and signed up for one right on the spot.

Upon arrival the staff welcomed me into their serene environment, and whisked me off to my massage room almost immediately. Waowww, what a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere! Not all massage parlors are created equal!!! I had been looking around for a while for the right place for me but multiple phone conversations did not yield to good results. I continued to google then here comes Origins Thai Spa on Westlake Drive. I called and after a pleasant conversation explaining my needs they got me in. Mind you, they fill up fast!!!. What can I say Waowwww... Excellent service with a welcoming atmosphere. The Thai massage sessions with Keng was very educational for me. I feel much much better, I am so grateful I found a place that will really serve my needs. Keng and everyone thank you for every effort and everything you do to make us feel comfortable. Expect some of my friends to show up :)

Today was my first time at Origins Thai Spa and my first facial. I had the Origins Deluxe Facial for 90 minutes and I couldn't be happier! Paula did an amazing job...she made me feel very relaxed and she was so accommodating and sweet! The woman at the front desk was the same way...made me feel welcome and like I was the only person coming in for the day. The atmosphere is so calm and serene, it's like walking into a completely different world the moment you open the door. I was so impressed with the whole experience, I got a 12 month membership which includes A LOT of benefits, plus a 90 minute massage every month for actually 13 months!!! I cannot wait to go back!! Thank you so much for a fabulous time!!

This was my first Thai massage as well as my first visit to Origins and I cannot rave about it enough! The spa has a soothing and welcoming atmosphere. I was greeted and offered tea or water immediately. My massage was fabulous--like massage combined with yoga (two things I love). I've only had the one appointment, but it didn't take much coaxing for me to sign up for a membership. If you like body work, you will like this place.

The atmosphere is very relaxing from start to finish. I had a deep tissue massage from Keng who was very good and finding those spots in my back that hold tension and did an excellent job of releasing that tension. The staff is very polite and helpful. The facility is immaculately clean. I highly recommend Origins, you will not be disappointed.

I had never had a Thai massage and was not sure what to expect. I was in pain for a few days and was searching for a place that did massage. I found Thai Origins on the web and after reading about the Thai massage I thought maybe it would be a good fit for what I needed. I was very impressed. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by the receptionist who was very friendly. The place is warm and welcoming. I had the best experience that I signed up for the monthly massages. I will be telling all of my friends. I am glad they give you the three free cards that you can give to friends and family for them to try it out.

Amazing massage! Tida fixed me up perfectly. Very professional and courteous, I was 100% comfortable, and the atmosphere is excellent. Looks like a clean spa clinic that has regular customers. I was very tempted to get the membership program, but I am moving out of state this year, so I won't be able to use the whole length of term. But even full price for an appointment, I'm sure I will be going back for another visit.

Groupon introduced me to Origins Thai Spa and my first visit was in June, 2014. The Sterling location has serene setting, beautiful decor, and great atmosphere. There were about ten therapists working there and I was very fortunate to choose Pornsri as my therapist when booking my first appointment online. Pornsri did an amazing job and I enjoyed every moment during that 60-minute deep tissue massage, so I decided to join as a member. The membership I acquired for the first year was a silver membership, which includes a 60-minute massage per month with a big discount and one free massage after twelve months. I have tried all kinds of massages including Thai-Euro, deep tissue, sports, and traditional massages. The traditional Thai massage is my favorite. It is basically a healing process combining acupressure and assisted yoga postures. I normally schedule my appointment right after I play golf. Pornsri gently compressed, pulled, stretched and rocked my body throughout the session. She has helped me recover from a long day of golf and avoid achy muscles. I have upgraded my membership to Paid in Full Premium Membership in the second year. I can get thirteen 90-minute massage whenever I want within a year. It is a great deal. I will continue to be a member at Origins Thai Spa and I highly recommend Pornsri.

The place is clean in the service is good. They have a variety of massages offered but so far most of them seem to be more therapeutic rather than just pure relaxing. Specifically I use them to help stretch, become more flexible and heal other injuries. I'll continue to go and I recommend this for anyone who wants to stay in shape

I had my first traditional thai herbal massage with KANTA after reading many raving reviews about her on google and also another user recommending the herbal massage. Both KANTA and the herbal massage were superb. Would definitely recommend the therapist and the massage specifically!
