Finally got ahold of them through Facebook the next day and by then it was “too late” for a refund. Didn’t even acknowledge that I tried to reach them earlier in the week. $48 wasted.

I haven't had the chance to get here as much as I'd like, but when I was a more regular customer I ABSOLUTELY enjoyed every minute. The staff is so incredibly caring and sweet. The service you receive is miles above other places. Once things settle out with me I plan on going back in a regular basis. I wouldn't think of having a manicure or pedicure anywhere else in Hampton Roads!

This has been my go to salon for the past year that I’ve been in this area. I’ve only gotten manicures or pedicures here but I’ve had a great experience every time! They are problem solvers as well. When my nail was cracked they suggested I use the powder first to “repair” it, then my usual gel polish over top. Can’t even tell it was damaged. They didn’t even charge extra for this! 5 out of 5 every time. Just make sure you make an appointment, this place is too good and they book up fast!

I got my nails done for vacation and knew exactly what I wanted. Black coffin nails. Well my nail appointment took two hours and they were definitely not shaped like coffin but more like a rounded square. Then I was very disappointed when my nails started popping off three days after my appointment. I would not recommend anyone to get their nails done here

I found Lotus Day Spa after reading some reviews of different nail salons near me. Lotus had the best reviews so I decided to try them out. The experience was amazing. The staff was friendly and professional and the building was clean and appealing to the eye. I am a repeat customer and I will continue to go back. When you go, ask for Jayleen!.. she is amazing and can take care of all of your needs! She's done my eye lash extensions, my eye brow wax, and my pink and white acrylic nails. Today Jayleen did my pedicure for the first time and it was the best pedicure I've ever had... and I only got the basic. Thanks Jayleen!

The service at the shop I have visited for years has steadily declined so I decided to visit Lotus day spa. It was the best thing I've done. The pedicure and manicure were one of the best I've had in a long time. There was none of that typical rush..rush, got to get them out of the chair for the next client! Made an appointment for 5:30, came in at 5 was sat immediately. Asked for ballerina powder dip nails and Tony was not the most helpful. My nails are all different shapes and none of them are ballerina shaped. They’re not straight on the tips and the angles are all different (even on the same nail!) Not to mention there are brush strokes in the top coat. I’m very disappointed.

I always have enojoyes myself going to this location till today. I went in to get a mani and pedi . While waiting for assistance the young lady on phone didn’t try to assist me. When she did finally ask how can she help with an attitude. I told her what I wanted and she said that there was no opening when I was talking to two other people that was not working and sitting there on their phones. She didn’t even ask if I like to wait, comeback or make an appointment. She just balled up my paper work I filled out and then turn and talked to One her pears. I have been coming there when they first open through all the new faces that have come and gone. This was the worst I have ever been treated and I will never go back and hope that all those I have coming there stop after I tell them how I was treated.

I loved it at first, gave it 5 stars, but that is because they are amazing to new customers. Unfortunately, they have a strange and offputting strategy of slowly becoming less appealing the more often you visit. Prices gradually become more expensive for the same services, quality becomes gradually more poor... despite tipping well... with cash. I finally had to stop going, they were up to $80 charge for my basic pedicure and basic manicure with gel top coat. After dishing out over $100 and walking out with smudges on over cut nails that took over an hour just to manicure, I knew I couldn't return. Good luck though!

Went on Thursday, March 1st and was over charged. When I called they require a $20 dollar deposit to hold the booking and they said it would go towards my services. I had 2 pedicures done which added to $55 dollars which then I added a $10. So that ends up being a total of $65 dollars. My future mother in-law paid for the services which it didn’t even show the $20 taken off that they already charged me!! So what was supposed to be a $65 all together charge ended up being her being charged for $65 and me $20. This is ridiculous! In addition, when we left we booked a mani, pedi, and a 45 minute massage that the woman never booked. She said she would move the deposit over to the services for today but she never did because she never booked the services for today to begin with. I need the $20 that you guys took from my card refunded to my card because we paid fully for them. This is not a place to go to. Avoid them at all costs!!

Received a massage- great job. Staff was friendly and accomodating. However, in reading the website description, photos and prices I was expecting UPSCALE. When I arrived I saw the place really looks like a typical nail shop for the area with flimsy rooms in the back for facials and massages. (Inside the back rooms was better except for the frequent suction that made it seem like the door would open during my massage) Not sure why sooo many people think the price is worth the atmosphere when there are many less expensive options in the area.

Beautiful atmosphere. Relaxing as always. With my experience I never been to a place that's so quiet and peaceful. They have their own private pedicure room for couples. Not only they have that but they also have packages where I stayed for more than 4.5 hours max. The package I had was the experience package. I had an hour massage, an hour European facial, an hour herbal pedicure, an hour herbal manicure and an eyebrow wax. I felt rejuvenated afterwards by the time I was done I feel Jelly. I also checked in with their yelp account to redeem a free glass of wine. The music was so smooth and the staffs was so sweet. I also had consultations before each services. I'm so happy that I found this place and this will be my go to place. I wanted to post this review to let you all know that this kind is the best spa in the Norfolk city. I have to book my appointment or they are pretty busy and booked fast. The customer service is wonderful.

One of the best places in Norfolk. I went a few different places before finding lotus Day spa. When I walked in, Kelly was very welcoming. I felt right at home. The staff is very professional and friendly. There are so many options here for all the services that are offered. You will never hear anyone say that something can't be done. Special requests are their specialty! I often request nail art that is very unique and sometimes difficult, but the nail techs are always up for the challenge. My nail tech today, Jaeleen, was absolutely amazing! I showed her a picture from Google with a design I wanted and she nailed it! If you're looking for a place that is worth the time and money, please visit lotus. I highly recommend this place!

The best place to go in Norfolk. I have been a client of Lotus for the last 3 years and I am so happy they keep expanding their menu of services. I always try to have Jayleen do my services but all the other workers are very good too. She takes her time doing everything and I don't ever feel rushed. My nail polish lasts a long time, the products they use are excellent quality. If you go to Lotus, ask to see Jayleen first. You will not be disappointed. She is extremely professional and courteous. She is the reason I keep going back for mani, pedi, waxing and even massages.

So I came in on a Wednesday afternoon, waited 30 minutes to get a pedicure. The guy who ended up doing it, wasn't doing anything else my entire wait but sitting in a chair watching other people work. He is currently working on my feet right now and has cut me twice -- to the point that I am bleeding. I take very good care of my feet, and have never experienced pain like this. He is using a cheap emery board that he has scraped across my toes, not the nail, the entire time he was filing. I am seriously thinking about having him just stop and never coming back here.

This by far was the most amazing pedicure I have ever had. I did not feel rushed and it was more than just trimming and feet maintenance. The young lady I had made me feel pampered and so relaxed from the hot stones, down to leg,ankle and foot massage. They use packaged sterile utensils that are opened up in front of you.

I had a great experience, made a same day appointment they were prompt at getting me seated. Did a good job at my pedicure. I also had a Brazilian wax and she did a great job! Very happy with my experience even though they don't ask or tell you about proper care for your wax. The room was a little dated and not the best set up but it worked :) I had bought a welcome package for my sister-in-law for Mother's Day. They scheduled her for 2:45 and rushed her massage and facial because they close at 5 on a Sunday. Her nails weren't done very well and the pedicure was messed up a few times and fixed. Also they spilled the bowl of limes down the front of her. The lady that did the pedi-mani was new and nice but still made a lot of mistakes. Not very happy with the service especially with how much it costs and the rushed in ON MOTHERS DAY!

I think Leena did my gel manicure and it is one of the best manicures I have ever had, and I am really particular about my nails. I was a little disapointed upon arrival to findout they do not use CND Shellac but they have a product from the UK called "The Gel Bottle," and the color and coverage is beautiful with a wide color selection. Went to Lotus Day Spa for my birthday and got the Spa package that included massage, facial, mani, pedi….etc I was not happy with my experience. The gentleman at the counter tried to argue with me about what was included in package. I pulled it up online on my phone and showed him a brochure he had sitting there that stated what I was trying to tell him and he continued to tell me I was wrong. I think the staff needs to learn their products and service packages that they offer. The place is clean I'll give them that but that's about all it has going for it.

I am new to the area and had a horrible experience in another place so I came to lotus nervous and tense ! When I entered the place I was welcomed and helped right away, on time with my appointment. Everyone was extremely nice and calming. Bianca threaded my eyebrows for the first time, that I myself had been butchering for a while. Wow! I work at a restaurant so naturally my nails don’t get a lot of love but today they sure did! Jayleen helped me pick out my colors and took care of my toes with a refreshing gel pedicure and offered me a few options for drinks too! Then Bianca took over for my gel manicure and did an amazing job! I got designs all around and Jayleen and Bianca did NOT disappoint! Lotus is the only place I will go to get my nails done. The salon is clean, full of nice people, and you get a glass of wine while you get your service! If you haven't yet, you should try the dipping powder. It is better for your nails and lasts so well! Mine has been on for over 2 weeks, and other than growing out, they look as perfect as the day Jayleen finished them. Jayleen is wonderful and her attention to detail is unmatched. Lotus is also an amazing place to get a massage. I try to schedule one with Stefan every couple of months to keep me feeling good!

This was my first time Lotus Day Spa and it was far from disappointing. This location does function as a “By Appointment” only location, which is very reasonable due to the high quality of service provided. I called ahead and was accommodated for a last minute appointment for a pedicure. When I first arrived the staff greeted me and were very friendly. Stephen preformed my pedicure and was very professional and pleasing to speak with. I highly recommend this location for any Day Spa needs!

I am so disappointed by this place. My friend and myself were going for the first time and were going to be regular clients because of their amazing reviews. However, this salon’s disorganization and lack of accountability is ridiculous. I made an appointment a day in an advance and was told 4 pm by the receptionist 3 times and paid a $30 deposit. We arrived at 3:30 the following day only to be told that we didn’t have an appointment. After insisting that the receptionist booked us at 4 pm, they looked at the schedule again and said the appointment was at 5:00. I advised that I had a dinner at 5:30 and again, we were booked for 4pm. We were told to reschedule for another day, which we begrudgingly did. We asked to speak with the receptionist who ADMITTED to booking us at 4 pm several times to the point that she and the front desk staff were actually arguing about it. However, the staff made ZERO attempts to honor the 4 pm appointment or even refund the deposit given their mistake. I stated that I wanted to cancel the rescheduled appointment and also wanted my deposit back. At this point they stated there was time and we could be “squeezed in”. This salon get a lot of business and was packed when I arrived for my appointment. I was already going to spend at least $90 in services and I was not going to be “squeezed in” at the mercy of the line of customers when I was booked for an actual appointment. I will never come back to this salon and the search continues for another one. Note to this business: when you make a mistake and your client doesn’t, bend over backwards to rectify the situation and ensure their continued business. You can’t make a mistake and then further inconvenience your client when they are paying you a significant amount of money.

I will never go anywhere else but Lotus Day Spa. I see Yna for my eyebrows and I got a manicure from her recently. Her attention to detail is incomparable and I will never go to anyone else.

I received my very first Brazilian today. OMG, I was sweating soooo bad but it was a very pleasant experience . I’m sorry I’ve forgotten her name but she took great care of me and my lady parts. The waxing experience was awesome as far as her technique and taking her time. I was shocked at the results are so happy I choose this place... staff was friendly from start to finish and I got a same day appointment . Can’t wait to try other services.

I’ve been here twice. The first time, I was convinced to do powder dip instead of gel and when it began to erode off my nails 2 days later, I went back to get them fixed. I was told the top coat they used doesn’t work well with powder and that was why they started peeling off so quickly. I chose to do gel instead because I’ve never had that issue before with gel. They charged me $40 on top of the $50 I had already paid for the powder, with no warning ahead of time that fixing their own screw up would cost me. Now after 1 week, the gel is already lifting on multiple nails. Poor quality products and need a lesson in customer service.

Ti was excellent and I sure will be returning back. Very precise took his time. I got the dip powder. He won nail competitions and everything. I feel like a celebrity and so fancy. And I usually go to Henry for the lava stone pedi. Also, Yna is very meticulous, she always does my waxing and I never break out from her! She doesn’t double dip the stick in the wax and she is very sanitary, definitely should come see her. This place is a must go to! Come check them out!!!

Very welcoming staff! I was greeted by Tee with a smile and immediate assistance. Natarshia did my pedicure and my toes have never looked this great! I can't believe how uniform she made my nails! Today I went in to get a pedicure. I walked in and greeted everyone with a good morning and was taken a back when the technician responded nonchalantly. I was asked if I had an appointment. I said no and asked if they take walk ins. She said yes but we're busy. There was ONE other customer getting her nails done. The moral of this post is if businesses want to be supported you should have proper customer service and fix staffing issues to accommodate those customers.

Could be better with customer service. Linda is great on pedicure but had one technician stated he cannot do my nails since he only does appointments. Minding you I made appointment for three services. If you planning on coming out here plan on investing an entire day. Thanks Linda for a superb job on the pedicure!!!

This place inside was not what I expected. First, you should mostly like call and make an appointment because when I walked in, it was crowded and I went to the front desk and was asked if I had an appointment. I said no and I was given a look like I shamed my whole family. She then said "all I have time for is a regular pedicure"($30), which was fine because that's all I wanted. I got my nails done and she did a wonderful job on the scrub. The nail techs there are very talkative which is great, not so quiet while a stranger is rubbing your feet. After I was done. She told me to wait there till my feet were dry. This was a disappointment because I am the worst at knowing when my nails are dry. So I waited about twenty minutes and went and paid. I paid in cash which you get a 5% discount if you do. Overall, not a bad a place.

I've been seeing Jayleen for almost 3 years and can't say enough about how she has helped me grow out my nails and keep them looking so good! I love her always present smile - you can tell she cares about her customers. I see her every 2 weeks and have seen her for everything from a massage, to mani/pedi, to eyebrow waxing and eyelash extensions. She is great and I highly recommend her services.

I been going to Lotus for Five good years. My experience here is tremendous and I’m very particular with my nails. Ti is my nail technician and sometimes I have Jayleen to do my eyebrows. Stephen is also good with the shoulder massage. However all the staffs are generous and sweet. Yna does my pedicures sometimes. I love this place because it’s also diversity. They welcome anyone and everyone here.
