This is the worst spa experience I have ever had and I have been to quite a few from San Diego, Colorado, Florida... They didn't have a hair barrier during the facial so the lady got more goop in my hair than I would ever imagine happening and I was left with lotion soaked hair for the rest of my appointment and arrived home looking like I had put an abundance of gel in my hair. The lunch service was a joke. I ordered a Caesar salad and the dressing came on the side. I didn't realize I would have to make my own salad and when I did the lettuce starting dropping all over me and the floor. By the time a replacement came it was time to go into the horrendous facial. Everything from start to finish was just terrible. My toe nail polish chipped after one day. I called management and they offered a free massage. Really, that's it when I just handed you $400? They should have refunded the money or offered a second try to prove they don't suck at life. When I called to schedule it I never heard back. We spent over $400 for the worst experience I have ever had. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

Shari was absolutely phenomenal as my masseuse. She made me feel completely relaxed and my muscles feel better already. She had the best pressure and focused on the exact areas I asked her to. The spa itself is good not great. The decorations are a bit dated. The photos online should be better. Loved the sweet girl at the front desk. It would be nice to have items like deodorant, hair dryer, etc in the locker room. We weren’t informed the room behind the curtain was coed so I was a bit startled to see a guy but I personally am comfortable but it would’ve been nice to know.

My mom and I went here to treat ourselves to facial and a massage. SHe had been here before so we decided it was worth it to drive an hour from where we were staying in Williamsburg. The Flowering Almond did not disappoint! The spa staff we worked with were Brooke and Roxanne. My mom got the signature facial and I had the organic facial. We both felt like the facials were incredibly enjoyable. They listened to our skin concerns and gave us good feedback on our skincare regiments. They did not push the skincare products on us at all but I did end up purchasing the mask used on me because I liked it so much. Afterwards we got a 25 minute reflexology treatment on our hands and feet. We had such a relaxing time and really enjoyed our experience.

My sister and I both had 80 min swedish massages for our 30th birthday. I had Danielle and my sister had Shari. THEY WERE AMAZING!! We both walked out immediately saying that they we both had one of the best massages we ever had and we have had many. You walk in to a very cute reception and are greeted by a very efficient, friendly receptionist that gets you checked in. You are taken back to the lockers where there is a shower if needed. We walked by treatment rooms to get to the waiting room. There was flavored water and hot tea and chairs to sit it. The room was nice. Danielle and Shari were so sweet and attentive. She checked up on me a few times asking how the pressure was and if I was doing alright. It was fantastic how she focused on the areas I was having pain but made sure to work other areas out as well. Overall experience was great! I do think that the spa is a little outdated and simple but the massage itself was FANTASTIC! I would definitely go back!

First, my massage from Suzanne was fantastic and I would highly recommend her. The customer service at the front desk was great too, and my facial was wonderdul. I would very much recommend the services here, but would not recommend using the amenities. I am giving the experience only 3 stars because of the facility, which had two low points. First, the robes are incredibly thin and not full- length which was more than a little uncomfortable in the co-ed, fully open windowed lounge. I felt very exposed. This would be an easy fix with thicker and more covering robes. Second, and really my big complaint, is that the locker room shower was disgusting. There were bugs (live ones and a few that had been smashed into the walls and looked like they had been there a while) and the tile grout was riddled with mold.

I am a local living here in the Kempsville area.I can not express enough how fantastic it was to be able too enjoy this past week at the pool.In this heat it is a Godsend.The pool area and staff were both excellent.Keep up the good work.

Upon walking in, you’re greeted by a very nice reception area. However I don’t think it was worth the $170 I paid for an 80 min facial. I didn’t get a robe and was led into a co-Ed waiting room that was noisy with other patrons. My therapist was over 7 minutes late for my appointment and left me in the room for another 5 minutes for me just take off my top and lay down. Then the facial ended 5 minutes early. The facial itself was pretty nice but I expect the full time I paid for! I don’t appreciate that I didn’t get my full time, especially when the tip is also pre-charged. It’s unprofessional to cheat customers of their time!

Not worth the money. Sadly I would not put it into the spa category. I got a pretty good massage, but the amenities are nothing special. The worst part was hanging out in the lounge area and seeing the massage oil stains on all the chairs.
