Went to the spa today for a gift package given by my husband. Pros: It is located in the really cute town of Occoquan. The facility itself is nice and relaxing. Everyone working there seemed really nice and considerate. I have read other bad reviews about having to get dressed just to move rooms and I can attest that they have fixed that problem and it was an overall peaceful place. It was easy to book an appointment although the communication was a bit excessive - three phone calls in less than 24 hours. Went for a massage, facial and pedicure. Facial was good. Cons: Massage was okay but nothing great, pressure was really nice on the scalp but then quickly began to feel more like being wiped than rubbed. Pedicure was terrible which I hate saying because the woman doing it was really nice but she didn't even bother to fully take off the old polish and now I have these green stripes down the edges of orange nails which just make them look dirty, wish I could attach pictures. Not to mention they tried to give me a manicure instead asking for proof that my package was a pedicure which I did. Then checkout was just a little aggressive and awkward. Like I said this was a gift package which is normally cheaper than individual services but here it is not. When my husband purchased this he assumed this was because tip was included which I did as well since that had been normal at other salons - doesn't make sense to give a gift where than people have to shell out money. The woman at the front desk was really pushy and a bit accusatory when I was trying to figure out the confusion. Mind you I'm staring at a sign for a special for the almost exact same gift package for $90 less but whatever. So another $50 later I leave. She then immediately calls me to explain why I had to tip because I had a different facial which is more. I say fine and thanks. Then five minutes later she's calling again which I couldn't answer as I was driving and she didn't leave a message. Place has potential but I won't be back.

What an excellent facility. I love the service and execution here. You walk into a peaceful environment that is focused on you having a relaxing and peaceful experience. I also love the location and vibe of Occoquan. A sweet and quaint little town.

Today, I had a massage by Giovana and it was truly a special time! She gave me special attention on some problem areas with wonderful results! I will definitely come back for another massage in the near future. Also, I really appreciate the friendliness from all of your staff members, especially from Dana. Her constant smile and eagerness to help is greatly appreciated! She also is very knowledgeable in the different massages and was able to suggest just the right one for me. Thanks, Dana!

My husband and I got a couples massage here for his birthday. It was great, the spa is clean and the ambiance is very calming. Before our massage they had wine & a snack platter for us while we waited. The staff was friendly & attentive. I got a massage from a gentleman, i forgot his name but i left out of there feeling brand new, he focused on all my problem areas. The downfall is parking, as you have to find parking on the street & sometimes old town Occoquan can be a bit crowded. Overall though we very much enjoyed our time here & we will definitely be back soon for another massage!

I had searched the area for years trying to find a good spa that specialized in modern facials... This is the place! You won't be disappointed.

Let me start by saying, I don’t think the lady was a qualified massage therapist. She didn’t know anything she was doing and couldn’t speak English to communicate with me. She barely massaged me- more like just putting copious amount of oil all over my body and moving it around. I almost couldn’t stop myself from laughing at how bad it was. Waste of money.

Wanted to gift a spa package for Mother Day. They wanted to charge me more than advertised because they update the package but when I reviewed what it included online versus their store description, it was the exact same. I walked out very disappointed, it would have been nice if they would have offer to honor their website prices.

PRO: 5 stars for Elizabeth. She made the end of my hectic weekend a wonderful relaxing experience and I would highly recommend her for your next visit. She is great!! CON: My spa appointment was for 3:45 and I was not in the room until 4:15 - half an hour late for my de-stressing???? This caused stress. No apologies or discount for the late wait. I will go somewhere else. If your client shows up early...you should let them know you are running late... at the least.

This isn't a typical spa experience where you change into a robe and store your personal belongings in a locker. In fact, they didn't really have a changing room, just a small untidy bathroom. I would like to start by saying everyone was very nice. After a just ok massage, I changed back into my clothes, smoothed my hair without a mirror, gathered up my purse and walked across the hall to change for my facial. After the facial, I had lunch...a sandwich, which would have been great if they had remembered the mayo I requested and hadn't made it on dry (day-old) bread. After lunch I went downstairs (which means leaving the upstairs of the building via the back door and walking around to the front door) for a mani-pedi. The manicurist was very sweet, but not particularly skilled at her job. I paid extra for an awkward and less than perfect french pedicure and my manicure was still wet an hour later because the layers were so thick. (I pay a fraction at Gorgeous Nails in Lorton for a far more superior mani-pedi experience.) On the upside, the facial was awesome...kudos to Laura for being the one person in the spa who really had the skills for the job. So, if you want friendly, this is the place for you. If you want a real spa experience (other than the facial) I suggest you look elsewhere.

Not the spa experience I was looking for. First let me start by saying I had never been here before and called to inquire about services. I told the lady I wanted a gel manicure and she told me the cost over the phone. Now, I've been getting gel for years now and was in the market for a new tech tech. When Donna completed my nails she took me to the front to pay. The lady told my that my cost was $10 higher than what I was quoted over the phone. I'm like why, she said you had a removal done. I'm like, that was never told to me and I asked Donna if this was included and she told me yes. The lady took off the extra $10. I feel like thy should be up front and honesty and not try to slide in excess charges without telling the customer first. Typically, removal of prior polish is included in mani service. Not griping about $10 but the mere fact of upfront honesty earns my business. Donna was nice but the first impression is is a lasting impression so I'm not sure I'll return to the spa.
