But above that, I need to like the person who is providing that service. They are concerned, efficient, professional, and take pride in the work they do. Enjoying their company, as well as the services they provide, makes for a good experience. I went in for a cut and color. I asked the stylist not to put streaks in my hair and guess what the moron did, she put streaks in my hair. It was THE ONE THING I asked her not to do. Did she not comprehend what i asked her to do? Did she space out after asking me what I wanted? Strangely it felt intentional, as if she did it on purpose and derived some kind of sick pleasure from it. Anyway, I was hoping to get a new reg stylist closer to my new house but didn't think I'll find it here. I'll happily drive the extra 25 minutes to my regular.

Having just moved to the area from the Midwest I was looking for a stylist who was comfortable with and knowledgeable about thick, curly hair. The receptionist (Will?) who answered the phone when I called was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and understanding when he recommended a same-day evening appointment with Amy. I ended up going from upper back length to chin length: BIG CHOP! I trust Amy with my hair (a first for me since so many stylists do not know how to cut curls) and I will definitely be coming back!! The prices were fairly average for a good cut and style. Also had an eyebrow wax, done by Amy: quick and relatively painless. Highly recommend Amy and this salon, especially if you need someone to tame your unruly curls!

Everyone was very professional and my appointment was on time. Katrina did my nails perfectly. I called the spa Friday morning for a haircut on Saturday and had no problems getting in. Receptionist explained the tiered stylist system where more experienced cost more money. I asked for a Level 3 or 4 ( out of 6) & was booked with Leah. She gave me a fantastic bob after cutting off about a foot of hair. Great stylist who didn't push products but gave a great haircut!

In the past, I would have given this Salon 5 stars. I had been going there for years to get my hair cut and received excellent customer service. Today, when I was handed a total bill due that was much higher than I had budgeted (based on the prices posted on the website), the manager did not have the decency to come out and talk to me. She just relayed a message to an employee. I was very upset and the poor employee tried her best to smooth everything over. I will NOT be recommending this place to my friends in the area.

I had a really great experience getting a pedicure here! A friend made the reservation, and the staff made sure to seat all 3 of us gals together. They offer snacks/beverages before you start. The staff is super friendly and the spa is clean and cozy. The only downside for me was that it cost much more than I usually spend for a pedicure.

I saw Dr Wilson for Botox and I had a great experience! I will definitely recommend him to my friends and family for their facial rejuvenation needs. I WILL NOT WASTE MY TIME ANYWHERE ELSE!!! I will definitely be back for additional services as I would not trust anyone else with my facial needs! The facility was clean, the employees friendly and the atmosphere was upbeat. It really is a remarkable spa that offers everything you could possibly need to feel amazing! I would rate 10 stars if I could!

Well... I’m pretty disappointed. I called to schedule an hour long pedicure. When I arrived the salon was busy and everyone appeared friendly. It was very cold in the pedicure area (offering blankets or a hot towel would be a nice touch for the spa). It was loud didn’t have the quiet spa feel I was expecting it to have. After the pedicure service I paid at register and the young lady was very sweet. She handed me a small gift bag with coupons, samples, and a Hershey’s kiss (very cute touch). I paid $90 and tipped $5. When I walked out I noticed bubbles within the big toe gel polish. I walked in asked for it to be fixed. They sat me down and “fixed” the big toe gel polish. She asked if it looked ok. I said yes... because it did. When I got to my hotel I noticed it was bubbling again and it was sticky/slimy. It looks horrible worst $95 I’ve spent on a pedicure. I’m disappointed and now I’m looking for a different salon to fix this before I fly out Friday... not to mention I need a fill and would have gone back there today to get it done if they would’ve done a better job. Just a bummer :(

I don't really write reviews at all but I thought this place deserved a shout-out. I came here after disappointing massage experience at places nearby. It is a bit more expensive than the other places I have tried, but definitely worth couple more bucks to get an amazing service such as this. The first time, I stopped by to get some information and get an appointment. Front desk and staff around me were friendly. Later, I got massage from Laura, she was very friendly and took her time to understand what I need and help get rid of my knots. It was very relaxing. I should also point out that it was a very professional and clean place. I didn't even think twice after the service, and immediately booked my second appointment with her. I plan to come back for other services in the future.

I took the plunge and had a cut which took off several inches. The result was an updated bob with layers. Stephanie is a level three stylist with quite a bit of training. She consulted me far more often that any other stylist has and did a marvelous job. My husband froze in place for at least four minutes and basically said "Wow!" in the three days since at least fifteen people have expressed how impressed they are. You'll be seeing me regularly Stephanie.

While my pedicure was excellent, the customer service was laking. I had never been to Changes and they did not inform me that tips were not allowed to be added on to a credit card. You must pay tips with cash or check. The receptionists were also unhelpful.

I have just started going to Changes, based on the referral of two dear friends. I am very happy with the services I have received and will be coming back. I use the spa up stairs to get my brows and lashes done, and Melissa does my hair. They have an excellent points program and I was truly blown away by how many points I had saved up so quickly which = a cash credit that can be used for anything in the salon. It is a truly relaxing place and excellent customer service. I would highly recommend anyone give them a try. I firmly believe you get what you pay for in the service industry and this is NOT a $15 snip and clip shop but a tranquil relaxing atmosphere.

I've been going to Changes off and on for years now and i received the first hair cut that i didn't like on Wednesday. Thursday I called and told the receptionist I didn't like my hair and that I didn't think I fully communicated with Tanya, a level four stylist, what I really wanted. The receptionist said no problem come back and Tanya will fix it. I went back Saturday and within 10 minutes I had probably the best haircut I've ever had. Five minutes after leaving the salon i received three compliments on my hair. I would definitely recommend the stylist and the salon.

I got a 60 min massage here today and it was AMAZING. This place is beautiful, relaxing, clean, and so cool. It seems like they have everything!! I felt so taken care of. Laura was my massage therapist and it was the best massage I’ve had so far. Afterwards, I got to use the steam room (complimentary!!) and that just perfected it.

Amazing spa located in the heart of Ghent! Looks tiny from the front but its huge on the inside! You can spend a whole day in here getting pampered. I got a facial done and the ambiance was beyond relaxing and the techs were so professional and caring. Definitely arrive early to secure parking and to fill out questionnaires provided. My stylist was very polite and sweet, but she absolutely butchered my bangs. I had already received a beautiful pixie haircut from another stylist (who I will be going back to) but received a gift card to your salon so decided to give it a try. All she had to do was trim what was already shaped and instead I now have a hole/bowl cut where my bangs should be. I would have probably refused to pay or ask for a major discount but did not realize the extent of how badly they were cut until I left and got in my car. I don’t want to get her in trouble as she was very nice, but no one else should have to feel self conscious like this either, especially from a Tier II stylist at a recognized salon.
