This place is amazing, however the owner's husband is disrespectful and a misrepresentation of the shop. Yvonne is amazing at managing her staff, worklaod and clients but her husband, John lets that title go to his head. Therefore driving customers away. He has poor listening and believes that because he is the owner's husband something is owed to him. He is not any form of tech trained on anything but felt it necessary to yell and threaten me. Very unprofessional and poor customer service. I truly loved this place and planned on returning even when I moved to NY but that is now out of the window. When a tech caused injury to my during a massage I informed the owner and she rectified it and suggested another tech. There are staff members in there with limited training and I wish it wasn't limited, so that is room for improvement. Also the staff need to learn how to constructive criticism. Yvonne does not have the problem but certain staff members do and so does her husband.

Oh my goodness girl let me tell you this has to be the best place to get your nails done ever. Aivy worked with me and ever since that day my life has changed for the better. I can't stop thinking about that day and how great my nails look now. Don't ever go anywhere else because there isn't an Aivy at other nail salons and that is a big loss.

I was very disappointed in the body scrub service I received. IMO they should not be offering that service. The room was tight, door was broken, bright light, you could hear the salon music over the 'calming relaxation' music, my friends girl kept leaving the room which made the room bright and would talk right outside the door to another employee, she was out of the room for 10 minutes at one time I was getting rubbed down and she was just laying there....but they ended at the same time, no shower shoes were provided, the massage after the scrub was a rub down...not a massage. Not relaxing. Do not recommend.

Surprise, they also style hair even though it is not in their shop title. I have followed Le, a master stylist, for more than 10 years. So, I come at least twice a month, as I feel that manicures are a requirement for my job as a flight attendant. I like to look good and hygienic for my customers at American Airlines, as I represent the brand in man form. I only trust Yvonne's Salon with beautifying my hands. The service here is amazing because everyone is so welcoming, friendly and full of personality as they pass subtle jokes and jabs at one another. The comfort coupled with wine and relaxing ambient music are all part of the experience that I so enjoy. I highly recommend the salon to anyone looking to relax, meet good people, and leave happy and comforted. Ask for Mindy, Coco or Tony. My absolute fave nail beauticians.

This place is AMAZING!!! I came for a pedicure Tony did it.....it was the BEST I have ever had! So good I wanted to get a facial at the last minute, they fit me in and that was just as awesome! Mrs Yvonne did my facial...she wouldnt give me what I wanted (which was more) because it wasn't what my skin needed at the time...she did what I needed (which was less) so she is not all about the money here.....her and her Husband really love what they do...they care about the client and what's best....and it shows in the amazing service you receive at this Spa Salon....also they do EVERYTHING!! Massage....facials.....reflexology....fish pedicures.....of course nails...all of it! I will be back! COME HERE! I live 35 mins away....I will gladly make this a part of my routine from now on! Yvonne day spa never disappoints! Today I had the signature pedicure with callus removal and my feet feel refreshed and smooth, ready for summer. I've had my nails done here before and again I was so happy with the results! My color lasted three weeks, perfect for the long vacation I was going on. They always ask if you'd like something to snack on or drink which is a nice personalized touch! Friendly people and great service. 10 out of 10 would recommend to a friend! I will be coming back for a long time!

I'm just updating my reviews today and it's been 11 months since I last wrote a review for Yvonne's. The five stars still applies. This a great neighborhood spa, the staff and technicians are wonderful, and it's always clean. The inviting atmosphere is so welcoming and it's like visiting with family every time I'm there. I love this place! Clean and friendly, the staff are excellent. The happy hour special is so relaxing. The products/services and prices are competitive for the area. Generally, I'm happy with the pedicures I get, though sometimes I have to ask to make sure the full nail is covered. It seems some technicians don't go all the way to the edge of the nail. But I'm always happy when I leave.

Yvonne's day spa is my home away from home every two weeks. Yvonne and John have created an atmosphere that is welcoming, relaxing, and uplifting. The staff are amazing people who not only look out for their customers but for their colleagues customers as well. Kim who is my nail technician is amazing!! Visited this salon for a dip powder manicure and spa pedicure on 10/10 in preparation for a wedding I was in this past weekend. I contacted the salon the next day (10/11) via their website regarding my dissatisfaction for the quality of my dip powder manicure. Not only have I not received any communication since, but my nails have all been ruined after only 6 days post-manicure. From what Coco told me, my nails should easily last up to a month or so, which clearly is not at all the case. The pictures don't do much justice because of the lighting, but every one of my nails is cracked. It looks like I have scratch marks all across my nails. Three of my nails are already chipped. My cuticles are torn up. I was going to refrain from leaving a review had the salon reached out to me to resolve this, but I feel obligated to warn others before they waste their $100+ as I did. Below is my message to the salon on 10/11: Hello, My name is Jordan. I had an appointment with Coco yesterday evening (10/10) for a dip powder manicure and a pedicure, and the polish/dip powder on my right thumb smeared right after leaving the salon last night. I noticed my thumb was smeared not even 15 minutes after leaving and turned around to come back to the salon, but when I arrived at 8:07, the lights were off and everyone was gone. I got my nails done because I am in a wedding out of town this weekend and I am not able to come back to the salon to have this fixed before I leave to go out of town. I expressed this to Coco when she told me to come back if my toe nail polish smeared. Knowing this, I would have hoped that she would have been 100% sure my nails were dry (both on my toes and hands) before telling my she was finished and having me pay (via Venmo $85 for services, $17 tip). I understand accidents happen, but towards the end of my visit everything felt very rushed, which makes me think this could have been avoided - especially given the occasion. While it might seem small, having noticeable imperfections on your hands when you're in someone's wedding is very upsetting. This was my first time at your salon, and other than Coco's patience with my indecisiveness in choosing my nail color, there is nothing that would make me want to come to your salon again or recommend it to anyone.

I am pretty new to the area. i was on a group page for the area and someone suggested to one of the ladies to get a fish pedi here. i found the idea intriguing and suggested it to a friend who also just moves here. Boy am i happy i did. I have now come her four times and every time it makes me happy. the salon is clean and something that really makes me happy is i don't feel there is any in house drama that you can see in some-other salons after going a couple times. the whole staff is friendly I really love Christina she makes you feel so welcome and Danny has done my nails all the times i have been here and not let me down. i have since brought my neighbor and she loves it as well. I highly recommend this salon they also offer hair care, massage, and waxing services great one stop pamper location.

On the thicker side but I think that’s the nature of the color I chose. Also everyone is super nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend going here.

I have been coming to the Arlington location for over two years and the service here is truly amazing! Tony is my favorite! He has impeccable attention to detail, he is thorough and listens to what you want. The owner did my acrylic nails. She had a hair appointment to go to so she rushed on my nails that resulted in them not finishing properly. I had 6 other employees surrounding me trying to fix it. One thumb would not dry shiny and when the owner came over to look at my other hand, she smudged every finger, then making someone else finish them. The lady doing my toes did not let me pick out my own color She kept saying the colors I wanted were not for me and I'm too young for them. She picked a color and pulled me to the chair to start working. I wanted so much money here and it's sad because the other times I have been here, it's been great. But the see the owner not giving 100% to their customers is beyond me. Will not be returning here.

Not only are the services fantastic, especially the hair cuts, Yvonne and her team are very attentive to the fish that are used with the pedicures. They are well taken care of and fed (dead skin of client feet) there are never any dead ones that I have ever seen. I'm a huge animal advocate and would not frequent the business if that were different. Try them out and I guarantee you'll be very happy that you did.

I have gone to Hava, the hairstylist at this salon, for over a decade and wouldn’t ever want to go to anyone else. Not only does she do your hair color/style/etc. exactly like you want, but she also provides an amazing overall salon experience. She is a wonderful person and truly an expert! I am very particular in who does my hair and I only trust her with it. She has exceeded my expectationa every single time - no matter what color/ hair style I ask for! Did regular man&ped. The lady was in a rush for no reason. I kept asking her to properly remove the extra skin around my nails many times, and when she polished my nails, she left a big gap in a way like my nails looked like they were done a week before or so..and the color was all over my fingers!!! When I gave up, I asked to deal with somebody else. The guy fixed what she did. She was moaning& yelling in her language (Chinese or Vitnamise). Overall, very bad experience. Will never go back again. # Any ped & man include removing the skin around the nails, shape them& finally polish them. If you ask me to pay extra for that, SORRY!!

Calvary Nail Bar, which used to be Yvonne's Nail Spa & Salon, is great! The new location is smaller but very chic. I've been coming here for 2 years and never have a complaint. All of the staff are friendly and very attentive. Anzhel (pronounced Angel), my nail tech always does my pedicures and I just love her to death. She's very professional, kind, and attentive. She never rushes her clients which I absolutely appreciate because I pay too much money to be rushed. Far too often you go to nail salons and they wanna rush you out of the chair to get other clients in, so you miss the true experience but the business never misses your money. Anzhel is the epitome of what you'll want in your nail tech. She's the reason I've been a loyal customer. If Anzhel is not available I definitely recommend Danny. He's professional, funny, and really gets my cuticles...my biggest pain. If you have not been here, I highly recommend that you pay Calvary Nail Bar a visit.

The best place nail place around. Pretty big place so never a long wait (if you don't make an appointment) and very clean. Receptionist Christi always very welcoming and makes it an overall nice experience. I usually do the spa package so my feet and hands feel so refreshed and soft. They all do a fantastic job and take their time. Free Parking is available downstairs in the garage. I never do my own nails now!

I went by this location yesterday with my sister. I ended up getting my nails done by a woman that goes by Coco. My sister got her nails done by Tony. I got acrylic with gel nail polish. My nails came out mediocre. My sisters nails came out super nice and I would definitely go back to have the guy do them for me. He was patient and even cleaned her cuticles for her. The lady that did mine rushed through the process and when I went to sit down to wait for my sister atleast 3 of my nails looked lopsided. Not ok for a service of that price. I went back and told her and she said I needed filing. She did it but to be honest for me to notice that my nails came out messed up would usually Make me not want to come here ever again, but the job my sister got done by the guy is enough for me to give it another try but with him instead.

I've never seen such a salon quite like this before. It's amazing because it's a full service and they are exceptional at what they all do and offer with reasonable prices. Such a friendly staff and clean salon. Literally services from head to toe for Men and women. Not many places can do a full Balayage correctly or even offer foot reflexology! They also carry some of the best products for your hair. I highly recommend this place for your services you won't be disappointed.

Been here for a pedicure and then for acrylic set. Both times were great! Nice staff, clean and quite environment and good prices. They’re busy at times but never to where they couldn’t do a walk in or short notice appointment. Acrylic was done exactly how I wanted without needing to ask for correction or fixing during the process. I absolutely love them and that’s the first time I’ve ever loved acrylic. (Other businesses would make my nails super thick with the powder or lopsided. I’ve left with sore and damaged nails from over filing as well.). I will always recommend Yvonne’s!

I reeeeally wanted to like this place, but I can't give it more than 2 stars. The customer service part was great, but the actual service part was not. I got a fish pedicure done. Leelee was the person I booked with and she is very sweet and nice and just wanted to make sure I was having a good experience. She was super friendly. She offered to get me food or drinks, but I wasn't hungry. Making sure the water wasn't too hot. Like the customer service part of going was great! I really liked Leelee which is why I feel guilty leaving a bad review. The fish biting my feet was a cool experience and I'd definitely come back for just the fish part alone. Leelee did good with "prepping" my nails: trimming, getting the dead skin under the nails, etc. It was the actual nail painting part that was bad. As you can see from the pictures (taken a few hours after I got them done), there are lots of places without nail polish on it. The blue you see in one of the pictures was the old color I had on when I came to the salon. I didn't look at my nails until I got home, and if I'd noticed it while I was still in the salon then I would asked her to fix it. For the price paid, I was expecting a better job. There are cheaper places that I could go to, but I really wanted to try the fish part. I do plan on giving this salon 1 more chance because like I said, the customer service part was great. I also went by myself and want my friends to experience the fish part. I'll most likely just book with a different person and will update my review after I go again in a month or 2

I walked in asking for the Dr.Fish ultimate pedicure. This was suppose to be a moment to relax, try something new and treat myself. Did my search and on ratings and reviews, decided I would go and try it. Strike one, my session was suppose to be for 20 mins with the fish. Was there for 15 min . Ok not a big deal. So I just kept with the flow. Strike two, my pedicure ended with high disappointment. I question the lady if this was the ultimate pedicure. For in my session I received no scrubs, mask etc.with what was listed for $85.Turns out, oh yeah she was just giving me regular pedicure, Ok so she tries to regain her session and resumes. Strike three, the hot wax also know as paraffin. Yes this is suppose to be warm/hot. Key note the amount used in the bags they wrap your feet around ,is a thing to keep in mind. Well I told the lady as I placed my feet in. The wax was pretty hot and I mean hot there was a large amount in the bag. As she attempted to move the wax around it alone increased in heat and uncomfortably Strike four, after me letting her know the wax was really hot she left. Why do you ask, well her next appointment had arrived. So another person resumed my session. Not sure if he know where she was left off at for my session. Also the paraffin was still hot and there was still wax left in the bag that was still in a liquid form. Strike five, upon my check out the my original service lady,she stated I had gel on my nails. I dont use gel on my toe nails, no need the polish last. Nice try in adding an extra $5 for something I didnt have. So needless to say the only thing I left with a pleasant experience was the fish. The result of every thing else kind of took away from the whole reason why one would go to pamper one self.

This place has great service and a pleasant atmosphere. However, there is no reliability when it comes to the nail techs. Two of the nail techs that did an awesome job with my nails previously are no longer there. My friend gave me a $60 gift card to use there as a birthday gift. I called to make an appointment for a full set with ombré. Unfortunately, no techs were available to do the service. I was going to settle for a powder set, but then was told that the nail tech there was not confident enough to do ombré with powder.

For a salon with such high ratings, I expected a better guarantee for the work. I went in for SNS nails a couple of weeks ago before traveling to Europe. I figured $50+ might be worth not having to worry about my nails for three weeks. After 3 days, the backs started lifting and before 2 weeks, 2 nails popped off. As soon as I got back into the country I called to ask if they'd remove the rest of the polish for free, but they wouldn't do it. I'm certainly not wasting my money on this anymore.

Had a gel manicure and a massage. Two gel nails were all bubbly by the time I left. The massage was all over the place. Part Thai, part Vietnamese, part hot stone, part manicure massage, part pedicure massage, way to much ear massage, and beating on the head, no deep tissue work, all kids of weird. I booked a deep tissue. People were nice but the quality of the service was not worth what you pay for it. Oh, and they played pop music in the massage run and another person came in part way through and had a conversation with the therapist.

I've been going to Yvonne's for a few months now and I am so glad I found them. The salon is indeed spa like (nice music, massage pedicure chairs, waxing and massage services) and the technicians are all very friendly. I get SNS manicures from Coco who is fantastic! (I recommend scheduling an appointment, because she does book up.) She does a beautiful, detailed job (fairly quickly) and even helps me choose my color. I've had SNS manicures from several places in the area, but this is the only place where they actually last past six weeks! For fun, I did the fish pedicure once, it tickles, but it did leave my feet feeling a bit softer than a regular pedi. I highly recommend Yvonne's for all your nail needs :)

So disappointed in this place. I’d been coming here for a few months going to the same guy Danny and he seemed to be a nice guy. I went to get my nails soaked off for a nail appointment I had the following day. When Danny began to use the electric buffer, a hole appeared in my nail. I am shocked to see this because I’ve been getting my nails done for 10+ years and never has this happened. He calls the hostess to translate to me and claims he didn’t do it.... Didn’t do it? I did it to myself? I’m very irritated at this point. They say they’re not going to charge me to put Nail envy on the damaged nail and suggests to go buy the stuff they had from a store. Oh and I can’t get my nails done for a month because of it. To add insult to injury, I’m charged for the service. Never again will I come here or recommend any more of my friends. I wish I could post the photo of how damaged my nail was left.

Went around 6pm to get two fish & pedicure, front desk said no because she just happened to have feed all the fish. Didn’t offer anything else. Update: I came in the very next weekend, after my fish pedi I started to notice red dots which were normal, then two of my nails one worse then the other shallowly started to get infected. Infection got so bad that I had to go to the doctor they had to cut skin & nails to try to get the infection out. My first and last time ever going to get a fish pedi! I would never recommend this place to anyone I’m going to have to speak to my lawyer about this.
