I went to Aqua after purchasing a Groupon for their services. The owner was very nice, attentive and turned out to be an Operation Smile volunteer like myself. My honey scrub and massage was AMAZING! Ayssa was very professional but very considerate as well and my treatment was very relaxing as well as uplifting. I left very happy and relaxed.

Alaida is amazing! I have gone to a few places to get my brows waxed and was never too impressed. I came here for the first time today and already have my next appointment booked. I’m not to picky about my brows and told her to just do what she wanted and my brows have honestly never looked this amazing!

The worst place for a pedicure expensive and is not worth it will never go back there receptionist on a personal call all the time I was there not happy with pedicure don't waste your 35 dollars ain't worth 5 dollars. the most expensive money wise and cheapest pedicure I have ever had.

I had an appointment. When I went , there was nobody in the salon and the door was locked. I waited for 10 minutes. I left a phone message then they called me back and explained the situation. ( A client and a staff were inside the salon because of her hair or sth was wet they couldn’t open the door ) What? My appointment was at 10 and nobody was there to deal with me. It’s not an excuse. They should have put a note or informed me before. The other reason: the eyelash extension fell off in one week. Nothing has quality.

To describe Aqua Salon and Spa in Virginia Beach is hard to do in just one word-it would take MANY words in fact! It is exceptional, wonderful, luxurious, high quality, and truly divine! I could go on and on!! I am a regular customer and would drive from anywhere for the services they provide and for the people who are there! One can genuinely feel the care and concern for you as the guest as soon as you walk in the door or call on the phone. The ease of getting an appointment and even being a "walk in", they are so accommodating and gracious! They truly care for your requests and desires as a salon and spa but they have a burning passion for what they do too! Everyone is so knowledgeable and thoughtful! I couldn't speak more highly of a salon and spa in my lifetime of going to beauty parlors/salons/spas; I have been to my share of them, trust me. I have had almost ever service done at their salon-from long lasting and amazing shellac manicures and pedicures, to "it is all gone" Brazilian waxes, to transformational facials, and to drop dead gorgeous hair cuts! You are getting a top notch service at Aqua Salon and Spa! You are in trusted hands as soon as you enter the doors. The prices are reasonable and you get way more for what you pay for! True quality and service and I don't feel disappointed after leaving. More like glowing, calm, and beautiful! In addition, they are clean which is huge for me. I have had bad experiences at other less than stellar salons whom I won't name, where I don't dare stick my feet in the water for say a pedicure. Health, cleanliness, and beauty are at the core of Aqua Salon and Spa and they are the one's to walk the walk and talk the talk. On a final note, I am a big fan of the products that they use and sell to customers at the salon and spa. I have had the enlightenment of using Osmosis skin care system and products. I have first hand experience with all kinds of skin care products from over the counter, prescription, made for tv, etc. You name it-I tried it, smeared it, used it, swallowed it, etc. So when I got a facial done by Alaida for the first time a while back with the Osmosis skincare products-my skin transformed!! NO LIE! I will be a customer for life. It has improved my scars, pigment discolorations, texture, pore size, no acne, and I now have skin many compliment me on which I never had before in my life. I even use the color makeup/foundation made by Osmosis too. It kicks bareminerals to the way side and I was a die hard bareminerals fan at one point. Try it and see for yourself for any skeptics out there, I was shocked at how much I loved the Osmosis color makeup/foundations. Overall again, I can not speak more highly of Aqua Salon and Spa and the people who are there! I can not thank them enough as well for all that they have done for me and helped make me feel better from the inside and out! Definitely worth an experience and you will leave satisfied and gorgeous!!

My first time here about a month ago was wonderful- completely above an beyond. Long story short, they are very accommodating to customers that have kids (as long as they are old enough to sit and behave, play on a phone, etc. Don't get me wrong, there's no babysitting!). They develop a great rapport with you, environment is very clean and staff is incredibly professional. I felt like I made a new friend after having waxing services done by Assya! She was so great, and legitimately cared about my experience and my skin! The receptionist is very accommodating with scheduling. They will call to confirm appointments and let you know if there are cancellations for earlier times which I can really appreciate. I've been to a lot of other places in Hampton Roads but Assya has topped them all and again I just felt like family. You'll never want to go anywhere else.

Went in for a trim without scheduling (door says walk-ins welcome) and I wasn't greeted for about a minute. I can visibly see two to three stylists sitting down talking to each other. Finally, I'm greeted from a stylist who was in the back. She asked what I needed, and I said, "do you have time for a walk in?" She asked for what, and when I said just a trim, she said she didn't have any available for another two hours...... The salon was empty... The stylists were sitting down.... What the heck? Don't recommend to anyone- there was is a salon about five doors down that actually holds true to "walk ins welcome"

You cant get an appointment because they only have 1 nail tech. After a drop in on Tuesday (a very slow day) they were unable to do a mani pedi so I asked for a brow wax. After sitting for a while the girl brought me a form to fill out. They wanted to know everything about my life which also included a medical form. I say: Uhhhh this is ridiculous and I stormed out of there. PS- I had called several times for an appointment, but when you have 1 employee, its pretty hard to get in there. I doubt this place will be around for long. Toodles Aqua!!

Alaida is the absolute best aesthetician. I first came to her when another salon messed up my eyebrows by waxing off too much of one of my eyebrow’s tail. I have now been coming to her for 2 years. No one has ever taken as much care and detail into waxing my eyebrows. She is a perfectionist and I SO appreciate it. I recommend everyone I know to her because I’ve never had a bad experience with her. My husband and I also came to her for facials the week before our wedding and it was such a relaxing and skin-benefitting experience for both of us! She is THE BEST!

It was horrible!!! It was difficult to get an appointment. One would think it was an awesome place since it was booked so far in advance. The front desk was very pleasant and informative, that's the only good thing I have to say about this establishment. I was getting a shellac manicure done for the first time. My technician was not very friendly or helpful. I couldn't get out of there soon enough. They do offer other services and maybe those would be better ecperiences.

Luke is a master hair stylist who rescued my hair which was very badly damaged from Hair Cuttery dyeing it the WRONG COLOR then I went back the next day because I couldn't stay due to appt (which was TOTALLY EMBARRASSING!) So I went around with a grey brown instead of a golden blonde. The next day the beautician was "absent" & the manager stripped ALL of the color from it so my hair was WHITE from bleaching ALL of the color out!! I was so embarrassed but Like knew exactly what he was doing! Now I am going to have him permanently as my stylist!!! He is great! They also offer teeth whitening, manicures & pedicures, waxing & even sell CBD products! Amazing store!!

I don't advise anyone utilize this salon. The manager does understand customer service at all. I made an appointment for a mani/pedi from a Groupon I bought. When I made the appointment, they asked for my Groupon voucher code. I also made a waxing appointment. When I arrived at the Salon, I discussed time tables for completing the services. I realized I did not have a enough time for everything to get done so I get the waxing done and said I would call back to re-schedule the mani/pedi. When I did call back, I was told that they had already redeemed my voucher and would not honor it because I did not cancel my appointment within 24 hrs. As I argued with her about this, re was quite and told me it was Groupon's fault at which I told her I know that was not true and she could choose to honor the voucher if she chose too. She replied with she didn't have to and if I knew anything about Groupon, most customers did not return to be regular clients so doesn't feel the need to honor it. I will not ever go back to that salon and if you have a groupon do not tell them that and do not give them your voucher number over the phone. Terrible customer service! Zero stars- in order to post you have to click at least one star.

I love getting my nails done. My profession is taxing and I look forward to having a little me time. Today, I was looking forward to my visit at Aqua salon, as I had heard good things. Don't waste your money or time. I felt unwelcome and it seemed like the nail tech. was more interested in talking to previous client and ignored several questions, and igrnoed when I said she was hurting me. She was rough. Not relaxing at all! I left at the beginning of the service. I had paid for the Mani and pedi package. I did not even make it through the manicure. My nails look like a five year old cut them. Avoid! The owner was there and just walked to the back of the salon and didn't even acknowledge the situation. Awful customer service.

Shampooing was painful (my hair kept getting pulled), this was followed by a trim of the back and my bangs--no layering--for which I was charged an outrageous $55. When I got home, I realized the trim was crooked.
