I loved my massage here.
I've been going to Massage Envy for a year now and I love it! It's my mandatory chill time - and I am a huge fan of Heather as a therapist!
Always a great massage. They work with you to find out exactly what you're looking for from the massage. Staff is always warm and friendly, facilities are always clean and inviting.
The therapists are wonderful. They listen to what you want and need and ask questions to meet your needs. I've been going for months and haven't had a bad massage yet.
I love it there. My experiences are always amazing!
First of all, John. He is simply amazing. I have probably had over 40 different practitioners over the last 30 years. Except for a couple of highly specialized individuals doing very specific things, he's the best. Granted, I have no idea of how he does with the fluffy, make me feel good, type of massage. I come to John because I'm getting older (54) and things need to loosen up and I don't want to do hours of yoga every day. He gets in there and loosens things up. And it hurts. Lordy, does it hurt sometimes. AND I walk out of there on cloud nine. No, it's not just the endorphins. It's like going to PT or to a burn therapist. If you really want them to do their job, it's going to hurt. Highly, highly recommended. But only as a deep tissue kinda massage. I think sometimes about asking for a gentler, more soothing massage. Nah! Second, Massage Envy. I love that someone has figured out how to franchise massage. It's convenient and the cost is pretty damn reasonable. I understand that they are trying to upsell. I don't mind. I used to be a waiter and while I wanted to provide the service the customer wanted, I also knew that the tip was on the total. So whenever they ask if I want any of the extras, I smile and say no. Third, ambiance. If I was paying $250 an hour, I'd expect little water falls with bamboo groves everywhere. And little pots of complimentary tea. And little slipper socks. But this ain't 10,000 waves or one of those places in southern california. It's Burlington, Vt. And it's a franchise. And I get an amazing massage from John every two weeks. If my budget could afford it, I'd go every week.
Not only did I have what was likely the best massage of my life, but when my ride fell through the staff took the extra time and effort to make sure I got home safely. The staff and therapists are professional and caring, capable and kind.
Great massage and the staff is very friendly! Lots of different services including stretching with massage. Facials as well.
John at Massage Envy is by far the best massage therapist in our area, I hated to share my secret but others deserve an hour or two with him. Thanks massage envy
I enjoyed it very much also respect there opinion on mire time need for a better outcome for myself.
Great salon experience! Friendly staff always know you by name, flexible hours, clean location and excellent services. I joined the membership club and enjoy relaxing with monthly massages or facials, great to look forward to each month!
Knowledgable staff helpful makes me feel better and comfortable
Waited OVER TWO WEEKS for an appointment for a prenatal massage and they called and cancelled LESS THAN AN HOUR before the appointment!! They were not very polite about it at all. Seriously? I think I will take my business somewhere else where they care about their customers.
I can't say enough good things about this Massage Envy location. The front desk staff are super friendly and always seem to be in a great mood. They genuinely seem excited to see you when you come in. My therapist (Amanda) is about as amazing as it gets. Great personality and even greater hands! She always makes a point to ask me about how things are and always remembers something that I told her last time. I always feel 10 times better when I leave than when I walked through the door. Highly recommend Amanda and Massage Envy in Williston!
Brittany is awesome. I'm going to miss her as she is heading back to school for her senior year. See you again in June!
Do not join. Hard to schedule and very difficult to discontinue membership. I have asked several times to stop my monthly billing. Asked for the manager to call me to no avail. Very disappointing!
I love this place! The receptionists are friendly and I’ve only had one massage that wasn’t outstanding. I appreciate the little touches like the warm neck wrap at the beginning and the warm wet wash cloth to wipe off the excess oil at the end. I would have to say the BEST MASSAGE IVE EVER GOTTEN AT A MASSAGE ENVY was from ANGELA. I came in with a wicked tension headache and a really sore lower back and left feeling amazing. She listened to me about my problem areas and delivered a customized massage. She could go work for movie stars or royalty or something she is that good. Honorable mention goes to Kyle and Matthew. They both delivered extremely detail oriented and customized massages. Make sure you call and request for them so they get the request bonus. The one picky thing I’d like to point out is I wish the facility didn’t use plastic water cups. Some other locations have reusables for coffee, tea, and water. I can’t imagine how many are in the landfill now. Overall, this location is great. Check them out.
Horrendous. Customer service is non-existent and they cancelled my appt 10 minutes before I arrived. Not only was the receptionist uncaring but she also felt the need to tell me how my almost massage therapist just got out of previous booking appt and felt sick so she went home. Lucky person in front of me who had sick massage therapists rubbing people down all day. Gross! I made this appt weeks in advance and you cancel 10 minutes before? You're a chain, how do you not have other therapists on staff? Get another person to take her place. When I asked to speak with the manager the girl told me 1) they didn't have managers and then when we asked for the district manager she told us they didn't have those either. Then she refused to tell us her manager's name and would not give us her contact info. Then she gave us a fake email address. DO NOT BOOK HERE. Go to Oasis Day Spa down the street. They're lovely and clean and they are professionals.
Great staff and therapists. Just really busy all the time
Worst massage I have ever received. The massage therapist left in the middle of it and came back and told me she went to the bathroom. (Why would I want to know that when your rubbing me?) when she continued the massage her hands were absolutely freezing. She wouldn't stop talking about my hair and what salon I go to. She didn't get the hint that I didn't want to talk when I stopped responding. Very uncomfortable. Wanted the massage to end the entire time I was in there.
I have been going to Massage Envy in Williston, Vt for 4 months now and I LOVE it!!! The front desk staff is always so welcoming and pleasant. The warm neck wrap is a great relaxing touch. My massage therapist Amanda is out of this world!! She is always checking in with me and asking what areas need to be focused on. She does a great deep tissue massage! I highly recommend Amanda and Massage Envy to everyone!
Chronic pain can be difficult to manage but people like Amanda make it more bearable. I would highly recommend her as she listens to your input and adjusts pressure accordingly. I had a wonderful experience and look forward to my next visit!
Had an hour massage with Marissa, did some focus work! It was AMAZING very clean and professional. I felt much better! highly recommend!
Caitlin was very informative with describing all the products used in my facial as well as recommended products to sustain the results of the facial during the following month. I look forward to my monthly facial & actually remember to go because the gals behind the desk called with 2 reminders!! Great Service.
I feel the member rates are reasonable and I like that I can bank my monthly massages if I don't use them one month or combine them for a longer massage the next month. The therapists are excellent and the relaxing environment is perfect! Highly recommended.
This is a very nice Massage Envy. I had a great massage and loved the relaxing environment. I will be coming back soon!
Massage Envy in a great place for an extremely overpriced massage. Your first visit will be totally affordable but unless you get a membership, it's absurd. Don't get me wrong, the massage was okay... But not $99.99 worth. Gift card or not. Also, be cautious that a lot of the 5-star reviews have been coaxed out of people for a free 30-minute upgrade. Also, please know that the hour massage is actually 50-minutes (read the small print) unless you had who I had and it was 45. Suck. I plan to find a much more affordable place now.
I LOVE coming to Massage Envy! They are always clean and inviting and it's a wonderful experience and time to relax!!!
I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the massages!
With so many different styles of massage techniques from therapists, you can always find your favorites! So easy to schedule and the price is awesome, especially if you go more than once per month.
I went in a couple of weeks ago for an introductory massage, and quite enjoyed the experience. The space is clean, neat, and comfortable, and the staff very friendly and helpful. I will likely be back.
I'm so happy that I joined last January. I enjoy my monthly massage, bringing guests and telling others about this wonderful business. Give yourself a treat and book a session.
Love the atmosphere here. Rich is an awesome therapist and uses the right amount of pressure. I highly recommend him as a therapist.
Very relaxing and very helpful for my back pain!
Great environment, staff, and perks! The prices are great as well as the welcoming staff. My membership makes me look forward to my monthly massages; it's like a little monthly getaway! Couldn't be happier with it here.
go here if you want to experience a sales pitch. asks creepy questions to try to figure out how to sell to you. when you come out of your massage they try to trap you into a contract. not relaxing.
It's been several years since my first massage at Massage Envy in Williston, and that was a good experience. I just booked a prenatal massage on short notice and was very pleased that they could fit me in before my due date in a week. I'm really looking forward to my 1 hour prenatal massage to relax my sore muscles before the big delivery!
Staff very friendly and accommodating. I am able to see the same therapist who knows me and works well with me.
I absolutely LOVE this place! John is my favorite! He finds knots I didn't even realize were there and gets them out every time! I highly recommend their membership because it's only $60 a month and you're guaranteed a massage EVERY MONTH. As an added bonus, the employees at the front desk are always so pleasant and helpful! I genuinely look forward to the whole experience every month!
The massage therapists offer a range of professional experiences: hot stone, deep tissue, trigger point, cranial sacral, reiki, reflexology, energy work, etc. It's helpful to specify your needs and expectations early on with each new therapist in order to build a rapport and get the most out of your experience. The front desk staff are warmly personable and professional, and have gone above and beyond to reconcile any miscommunications in order to accommodate each customer. Hanging out and chatting with available staff members after a massage or facial are my favorite aspects of ME!
I had a relaxing massage last month at Massage Envy. Amanda was the therapist who did the massage.
It's my mini getaway each month. Atmosphere is serene and staff is super friendly. Massage always exactly what I need.
Very disappointed at the unethical nature of the membership program. I was going to buy my fiancee a gift card here but was persuaded to get her a membership instead because of the additional benefits. The staff either doesn't know all of the downsides to membership or are purposely told not to disclose them to the customer. When I went to cancel the membership I was told my fiancee had to do it because the membership was in her name despite the fact that my credit card was the one being charged. Seems like a very ridiculous set up. Every time I spoke to the manager regarding the membership she simply said "You signed a contract stating...". I didn't realize I needed to bring my lawyer with me to purchase a massage. This place is very unethical and shady. Do not give them your credit card info. Do not buy a membership of any kind. If you want to get a gift just buy a gift card or go somewhere else. I would never treat the customers at my business that I manage the way they treat customers here. I am not the only person to comment on this fact with Massage Envy. Keep scrolling down and you will see other people express the same sentiment. I wish I had read the reviews of Crater First, Judy New, and Susan Parker before going here.
Worst Experience Ever-Do not go. I can't believe how awful they are to deal with. They make canceling your membership very difficult. They would not let me speak to a manager. I had to cancel my card because they kept charging it without permission. Avoid them!
Just had an hour massage today with Heather. Great one hour of relaxation. They guys at the front desk are also pleasant. Always look forward to my time there each couple of weeks.
Very relaxing experience with good selection of therapists across a variety of massage techniques. Facility is top shelf.
Sarah is amazing. I walked in with aches and pains, walked out a new man.
I had a terrible experience at this massage envy yesterday evening. They lost my appointment in their scheduling system. I was supposed to have one at 6pm and when I showed up for a massage, they told me I wasn't scheduled. They then decided to book me an appointment for 9pm. I left and decided they had made up for the original mishap. Then I got a call from them saying an employee had a conversation with a manager who told them "since I'm not a member, I cannot have the final appointment of the evening." How would you feel?
Massage was wonderful, aroma in building overwhelming, left me stuffed up and headaches for 2 days
Very professional!
Highly skilled professionals. I've been a faithful customer since they opened their doors.
Shady as hell. Tried to get me to sign a very legally questionable waiver that no other clinical practice has ever tried to make me sign, the front desk lady tried to get me to stop asking questions about it. The waiver explicitly stated, among other things, that I would defend Massage Envy and its associates in court over matters including negligence of their own employees.
Who does not love a full body massage? The ladies and men working here are very friendly. They offer different styles of massage. I definitely recommend the hot stone massage. Sto es are warm and smooth and an experience you don't want to miss out on. Establishment is clean quiet and safe.
I have always had a great therapist. I've had deep tissue, the heat treatment, sugar scrub and always a good response to my requests for focusing on my feet/ legs/ lower back or shoulders... Thank goodness for the late hours and ability to accommodate a last minute need.... I find the front desk staff cheerful and helpful. I am a member, because If I do not schedule ahead, I'll never do it. I go monthly, schedule another as needed.... I find the price to be fair and reasonable.... spas charge twice as much !!!
I have been a member for almost 2 years now and love it! People are very nice and the atmosphere is great. Highly recommend it!
It is so relaxing, friendly staff, and price is reasonable, and Murad product are amazing
I have not gone to Massage Envy myself and will never ever go. My 89 year old mother got a gift certificate for a massage and they signed her up for a year. After going, she realized she could not breath while laying down on the table for very long and tried to cancel her contract. Not only did she go there to cancel because no one would call her back, but she had to cancel her credit card. That was not enough because somehow they got her new number from the credit card company because in small writing the mastercard had a contract and her bank gave them her new number. She struggles to make her payments for medicine at $600+ per month and they keep charging her each month and she can't get them to stop. What a scam of a place.
Everyone who works at Massage Envy in Williston is super professional and there to make your time as relaxing as possible. From the warm neck wraps to heated massage beds, the opportunity to add aromatherapy, and the glass of water and a warm towel your masseuse brings to you after the massage, there is so much attention to detail made to make you happy. Would definitely recommend getting a membership to anyone and everyone.
Rebecca did wonders for my face! I had never had a facial before but I just got tired of oil spots and dry spots. My face just needed a "start over." She took her time to explain what she was doing and I was obviously nervous but she made me feel confident. Highly recommend if you need a face reboot!
I had a massage by Jared today and it was just a massage. I was disappointed because I was suppose to get a 90 minute massage. I understand they allow time for dressing and consultation. My massage started at 4:10 pm and ended at 5:21. I feel I should have had another 15 minutes of massage. He talked through most of massage and he complained constantly that massage therapy was a physically demanding job and he was tired. He explained that his girlfriend understood because she was a message therapist too. I felt he was not really interested in helping me personally.
I find the service very pleasant and reasonable. The facility is set up similarly to other spas that I have been to and everyone at the front desk seems pleasant and helpful when I arrive and when checking out. (I love the hot neck wrap they give you when you arrive!) My massage therapist always asks if there are any particular areas that are bothering me at the start of my appointment and spends a little extra time addressing those areas. I've gone to other spas and felt like I was being beat up during my massage and left feeling sore for about a week afterwards. It was NOT a pleasant experience! I've never felt that way at Massage Envy. I'm happy with the service I receive and feel like the areas I need loosened up are being taken care of.
I have been going to this location for over 6 years. I am always greeted by name, and the staff is very personable. The massage tables have heat (if wanted) and are very comfortable. The therapists always check with you at the beginning of each session to discuss areas of focus, and there are a number of add on services available to further customize your experience.
I had a great skin care treatment with Rebecca. She truly is a delight.
Great hours and service. The therapists are always friendly and professional. Highly recommended!
I tried using Massage Envy in hopes of treating a frozen shoulder and lower back pain. I could not recommend this franchise to anyone with health issues. They lure customers in with a low price quote and then give you a hard sell to "subscribe" for a year. I made the mistake of doing so and regretted it deeply. What I got was low quality bodywork from a revolving door of "therapists" whose techniques were sloppy and often left me in more pain than when I came in the door. This is a franchise with low pay for its workers, high staff turn owner (I found one therapist I liked and then she left bcs of the low pay and high demand to turn over clients back to back.) The model here is a a chop shop and the turn over in staff/therapists so high you'll never be able to see the same therapist twice. You'll be pressured to see "another therapist" so they can meet their contract promise to one massage a month. Yuk. To add insult to injury they pressure you to pay a "tip" each time directly to the therapists in addition to your monthly fixed fee, making the service cost even more. (They do not pay therapists well and pressure, you, the client, to make up the difference personally). I have heard that other franchise locations for Massage Envy are better run -- its a national chain -- but the one in Williston, Vermont definitely has client service issues.
I have always been very happy with the massages I have had at Massage Envy. The staff is friendly and the therapists do a wonderful job so that I leave my massage feeling completely relaxed and happy that I took the time to pamper myself!
I have been a member for over a year now and I have been very pleased! Shari is the best and she really gets to know you. I also have Angie for my facials and she does a fantastic job! Thank you both!
Great staff and excellent massages
I always feel really relaxed after my massage. Indira is very professional and one of the best masseuse's I've ever had!
The therapists & staff are all wonderful.
So many talented therapists! So many different services! Great atmosphere and friendly faces. I look forward to every visit!
I love the heated neck wraps as you wait for your therapist. The spa is very relaxing and clean. It's fun to try out a new therapist every once in a while for something different.
Friendly staff, massage was amazing
My wife got me to go. I was really stressed out. Nice relaxed atmosphere starting from the lobby. I fell asleep a couple minutes during the massage. I had not been that relaxed in years. Felt better for a week. I'm going again today and looking forward to it. Definitely worth it.
