I floated the whole time rarely touching the walls of the pod. The experience was surreal. Ive never floated on water. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Clean bathroom, shower and pod. My boyfriend is 6'6" and he fit in the pod. We both agreed we will do the pod again and try the suite for both of us after. Four thumbs up!

Lovely experience. I was a first time footer and didn’t know what to expect. The place was very clean and looked up kept. The pod is in a private room with a shower. They give you sandals so you do t get you shoes set. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash is provided. There’s also a vanity area with Lotion hairdryer, qtips. They recommend you float Jude, but I’m sure you could bring a bathing suit. There is also a team room afterwards to have snacks and hydrate. The full hour didn’t start until you were in the pod. It was so relaxing, the time went by so fast!

Beautiful, quiet, good smelling, clean, perfectly relaxing spa! Although I had a bit of anxiety and ended getting out of the deprivation tank early because of it, it was a fun new experience that I look forward to trying again.

Wonderful experience! You can even read what other first-timers have to say (see photo). This was my first time at a place like this. I came for the float spa, and didn’t even realize how many other services they provide. The float pod was relaxing, meditative, and as effective as an hour of therapy (physical or mental). They have water and snacks provided, the staff was awesome at explaining things and offering little things to get ready after.

I made an appointment online a few days in advance. Took the afternoon off, arrived, and was told they could not see appointments scheduled online and no spot was available. Frustrating to not have a something on the website that says online scheduling doesn't work. I recommend one of the other float facilities in SLC.

The Floatpod was clean and beautiful. The facility is newly remodeled and the reception friendly. I liked that they made sure to schedule at minimum 90 minute intervals so I would have a full hour float, time to shower and prepare going into and out of the pod. So relaxing. I zoned out and slept a good part of the hour. Then they gave me a free session on a HydroMassage lounger. Felt like I had younger knees and hips when I later walked around my neighborhood. Fantastic, definitely going back.

Nice atmosphere. The receptionist was very sweet. They had an issue with the first tank they put me in, but I was immediately transferred into another one. They also gave me a free voucher for a hydro massage! Good pricing and a friendly staff! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good float center!

I definitely think everyone should float! It's a great experience and is very relaxing. This facility is clean and beautiful. I'm only giving 3 stars because I've floated before at other facilities and didn't find this one as impressive. The staff, though friendly is a little in your face. For example I was standing in the waiting room watching the orientation video and she repeatedly told me to sit down. The smell of the salt is incredibly overpowering and it made my stomach turn. The music in my pod didn't work ): Otherwise it is a great experience if you've never done it before. I would highly recommend New Age Spa in American Fork if you're looking for a memorable experience. Their facility is calm and beautiful and includes guided meditations while you float :)

First time floater, didn’t know what to expect. Facility was incredibly clean and inviting upon entering. Shawn greeted me, handed me a nice pie of addidas flip flops, no cheap foam ones, took my shoes for me, and walked me through the float process. He even showed me around the spa and it’s other amenities. Absolutely impressed with how classy, clean, and friendly the whole environment was. The float was relaxing, and felt very private. Showers were nice, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided. The towels were even soft, and smelled fresh and clean. Mints, water, and ear plugs were all provided. I’d absolutely recommend Spa 19 to anyone looking for a great float experience.

We had a really wonderful time floating here. They had a special float tank where two people could float at the same time, and it was such a special experience to share. It was totally relaxing and we both feel great. Everything was so clean and nice, they had a great room to sit in and have snacks after too. Service was great too. I would definitely recommend this!

I have never written a Google review in my life. This is amazing and I will be going back regularly. Pros: Wonderful service, they give you earplugs and access to shampoo, body wash, and conditioner, as well as dry towels and a snack bar with water bottles and tea for after you get out. Clean facilities and white glove treatment. Cons: I'm 6'4" tall and it took me 10 minutes to find my float center and not bump the walls with my hands and feet. (Totally fine after that, though, and someone taller could easily fit.) Don't shave the day of. Serious pain and burning (from my fiancee's experience). This changed my life and I experienced peace that I've never felt before. I will be returning.

Priced better than i expected. Non-deluxe float tank has some noise bleeding in from the motorcycles that drive by, but I've heard that that's not a problem in the deluxe

When we first arrived we signed in and a lady took us around and showed us the different rooms, one room had water jet massagers and she said after our float session we could enjoy the jet massager, at the end of our session my girlfriend wanted to try it out, when she was done and we were leaving out the door that lady said oh wait you owe me $20 for the 5 minutes you're on the water massager...??? We were like what???we were there for a relaxing calm evening so I didn't raise hell I just paid it so we can enjoy the rest of your night without being annoyed,so to everyone the massage chairs are 20 bucks just be aware because they will not tell you ask on everything for a price

My wife had her 1st appointment that was set up by wounded warriors. It was to be a 60 min session. The in side is nice and as expected. We watched a short video and then were taken back for her to have her float session. I waited in the back waiting area. About 1:25 she appeared, having showered after the float. I was shocked as it was too soon. I asked her what was wrong? She was confused and did not realize that she had not been in there very long. She replied the music stopped so I got.out as instructed. The man at the counter was busy on the phone, he waved as nothing was wrong. I wanted to ask him about the time of the session but he continued on the phone and we were done.

The spa was beautiful what I saw of it, the hostess didn't even show/tour us around or show us where the bathroom was... which is pretty critical in most of the spas that I've used. I tend to use the bathroom at least once after floating and my bladder always feels ready to explode after because of the deretic process the pod creates in the kidneys. I guess they assume that you could pee down the drain in the shower? It's ladies running the day spa and you would think that they would realize most women use two towels for their shower one for their hair and one for their body. I opened the door and kindly ask for a second one. I While overall nice ambience the customer service and the authentic care was lacking. The sitting room already smelled like coffee which is a total turnoff. I'm not here to bash on people but I feel like if you're going to offer a service you may as well go all the way with it and create a five-star returning clientele experience. And at the end of it tranquil and peaceful float where I was closing my eyes and relaxing the time goes by you don't realize at the end the Jets stimulate the water and circulate to clean were so loud that it was bringing me almost completely out of my experience in the float pod. Anyways if you tweaked a few things it could be an excellent experience. By the way the TV in the entryway doesn't work when your greeting and checking out other guests while having other guests new guests I might add trying to listen to the demonstration on the TV. that was highly annoying because I couldn't even hear the TV while another lady was laughing walking out. That almost needs to be in its own separate room. Over all a 3

This was an amazing experience. I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival and completely relaxed upon departure. The staff is amazing, the spa is clean and aesthetically pleasing and the tubs are incredible. Would recommend to everyone over and over again.

It was clean, smelled clean and was very relaxing. This was first visit, typical paperwork and legal stuff. A quick video to watch, then you will be taken to your private pod room and shown how all that works. It was explained that the music would automatically turn off when your session is completed. I paid for a full hour. Arrived at 1pm. Did the above, got into float. Was just to the point if totally into it when the music turned off. The feeling of being weightless and quiet is amazing. I lingered for about 5 minutes, hoping my time was not over because I enjoyed it so much. No more music, my session was done. You shower both before and after the pod. I showered and walked up to the front desk to schedule another appointment. The employee was busy on the phone bit waved goodbye. Sadly, it was only 1:30, so of the 60 minute session I got 15 minutes. Other than that, it was great.

Came to Float Spa 19 specifically for the Sensory Deprivation Tank. It was very relaxing and the before and after care was so impressive. They give you towels, mints, water, and snacks for after your experience. They give you enough time to shower before and after your float, so you can have a full hour of floating. The staff was super helpful and nice. The atmosphere of the spa itself is so serene and relaxing. They have a wide variety of services to fit your needs.

Do not let the outside look of the building or location scare you away from this experience. This place was amazingly beautiful and clean inside with cozy and comfortable lounge area. We did the 1 hour session in the suite and it was relaxing to say the least. The weightlessness was amazing for my bad neck. Can’t wait to do this again. Great service from the employees, could not be more happy with this experience.

The staff is super friendly and helpful, especially if it's your first time floating. They explain who the float works and what to expect. It's a very clean establishment and they have a very comfortable relaxation room to sit and relax after your float session is over. Their float pods are roomy a d they have a few different type tanks to choose from.

So.... fun? It's such an unusual thing to float! I had a hard time letting go my first time but i also couldn't get the light to turn off and frankly I'm not great at meditating for 5 minutes, let alone an hour. The fact that I made it for 40ish minutes, means it works. I would like to keep trying. They also have a couple's size pool that has little lights like stars on the ceiling. I think that's also worth a try!

What a wonderfully relaxing experience. Upon arrival the staff was very welcoming and informed me of everything I needed to know about the experience. They showed me a video that explained the float process. They also took me on a tour of the spa to show me where everything was; bathroom, vanity area to get ready after your float (including a blow dryer and q tips). Everything was very clean and welcoming. My float experience was very relaxing. I will say that the salt did burn my skin just a little bit to begin with. I wonder if the salt content was just a bit too high. After my float I spent time in the lounge room drinking tea and eating snacks. I will definitely float here again. Thank you Float Spa for creating an Oasis in the heart of a busy city.

This was my first float and it was very relaxing. The staff was very nice and welcoming. After the float was also nice because I was hungry and they had some snacks. An added bonus was a hit had wax. I will definitely be coming back and will recommend this to all my friends.

This was our first time floating at this location and it won't be the last. The staff was helpful and nice. But the big winner was the Suite style Sensory deprivation tank. These fit 2 people at once, ideally meant for couples. I would definitely recommend this location for your next float.

The staff was super nice and helpful from the moment we got here, the rooms were stocked with everything you need. From towels to shampoo. Everywhere was super clean and pristine. The pod itself was clean, and the temperature remained perfect the whole hour. I liked being able to control the lights myself and that the music shut off automatically after a few minutes and then came on again toward the end to let you know the hour was up in a relaxing way. After an amazing and relaxing experience they have a room to relax in complete with snacks, drinks and a cute walk of people leaving their comments on their experience on post it notes. This place was perfect, clean, relaxing and friendly. I’m so glad we chose this place for our first time floating. Thank you for making it an amazing experience.

Came here for a birthday gift and was amazed. The place was so clean and pretty (don't let the location fool you). After the float, which was awesome, you shower and they give you drinks and snacks afterwards. I would highly recommend coming here if you're looking for relief and relaxation from the world. Definitely coming back.

I absolutely love and whole heartedly recommend Float Spa 19! The entire atmosphere is one of peace and healing. The staff is very warm, welcoming and accommodating. They have two new float ROOMS for couples (see the photos), if you chose to share the experience with a partner. Personally, I prefer floating alone. However, if anyone is claustrophobic, using these rooms eliminates that concern. The ceiling is as high as the rest of the room. There is even an option to illuminate the "stars" on the ceiling. So, if you've thought about giving floating a try, this is the place to do it.
