Went in for a facial and was not disappointed. Firstly, you walk in and it’s full of color, beautiful tapestries, and tasteful decor. The lady who gave me my facial was very professional and also told me what each product did for my face. I felt like I was glowing when I walked out of there! Best experience I’ve ever had.

I had a really nice experience! My sister and I both got the European facial. Upon arrival we were a little hesitant cause it looks like a normal house and on the inside it is different but in a good way! Definitely not your typical day spa. We both loved it and will be going back soon! Pon is amazing!!! Very gentle with facials.

Had the best experience! My 2 sisters and I met in Salt Lake City for a sister's weekend and went to the spa. They treated us like princesses and we had the best time ever! Holly was my massage therapist and also did my facial and pedicure and I have never had quite such a good experience with these services in my life :) I would highly recommend them!

My family and I were on a trip out to SLC to visit some relatives over the summer. To my delight, I had a free afternoon all to myself and what better way to spend my time than to go to a spa! After doing a quick search, I decided to book an appointment at Avenues Day Spa because they had what seemed to be the best spa packages for the price. I really went all out with a pedi, facial and massage, and I'm so happy I did! I enjoyed every minute of the Invigorate package. I was able to soak up every minute of 'me time' in full relaxation mode at this charming converted spa. Thank you so much! I will be back next summer!

We went to Utah on vacation, after a few days of hiking and mountain biking we decided we all needed a massage and a pedicure. Found Avenues Day Spa on the internet and since we were staying downtown and its close to where we were, we decided to give this place a try. Driving there, we discovered the Avenues which is in a residential area and the spa is inside this cute house. Outside the spa is very pretty, many fruit trees and flowers and fountain. The sign was not very visible but we were told to look for a house with yellow and blue trims. Upon arriving we felt relaxed immediately. Sound of water, relaxing music, scented candle, mixed with the cozy feeling and charm of the old house and very friendly staff was the beginning of a heavenly experience. We all enjoyed our massages and pedicures. We all could not stop talking about our pleasant experience afterwards. More than anything, I loved the fact that the spa was not located in a commercial building or a mall.

My experience at Avenues Day Spa was AWESOME! I'll admit, I'm always a little nervous to try a new spa for massage. (I mean, you get naked there...) However, my experience with Avenues Day Spa was excellent from booking my appointment. They were extremely professional from the very beginning. I was greeted in a warm & friendly fashion from the get go. The gentleman who runs the front was very efficient in explaining what to expect, etc. It didn't stop there. My actual massage (the 90 minute hot stone massage) was MAGICAL. Donna May was absolutely wonderful. I'm a hairstylist that has neglected taking a moment to myself...Donna May listened & understood what areas needed some help. She was kind, nurturing, & intuitive. She made me feel SO comfortable in a new environment. I can't wait to go back again. I would absolutely recommend Avenues Day Spa to anyone. Family, friends, & clients. It's a charming environment full of kind people, delicious smells, & excellent customer service. A rare gem to me that is a new found treasure within walking distance from home. My one recommendation would be to make confirmation calls for appointments the day before. :) Thank you for making my new experience an awesome one!

I went there because my friend gave me a gift card for my birthday and I've got to say this place is awesome. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is very professional. Very quaint inside and the surroundings are amazing. I'm definitely coming back.

This spa is a joy to experience. During your pedicures/ manicures, you have an exquisite view of the Salt Lake Valley, which is absolutely stunning! The facials are rejuvenating and you really DO see results! The massages that I have recieved here have all been excellent and the therapists were specific to my needs. I highly recommend this lovely Spa!

I was given a gift card for the vitality package. The entire experience was amazing. I was offered a cup of ginger tea at the time of the arrival which I enjoyed. I thought the decor was fun, colorful and happy. The massage, facial, mani pedi and makeup were all great and it felt like being with family the entire time. The snack was also very healthy and nutritious and served at the perfect time. I will definitely be back and recommend if your are looking for a cozy and unique experience. Oh and the fruit garden upon entry was very inviting.

I fell in love with this spa the minute I stepped inside. My experience was nothing short of fantastic. From the beginning to end, I was treated warmly and with great care. One of the treatments that I had was the Polypeptide Chemical Peel with Pany. I was a little nervous to get a peel on my face, as I had never had one before. Pany alleviated my fears 100% because she talked to me about what to expect, what products she was going to use, and what I would experience after. She told me the approach she was going to take with my skin, so it was very individualized- it was definitely not a 'one-size-fits-all' treatment. Needless to say, it was a fantastic treatment; I was sincerely astonished at the results from just one peel. I have booked several more sessions, and I have happily purchased the products she recommended. I have not had anyone help me with my skin the way Pany has. I am so grateful to her! I highly recommend Avenues Day Spa, and Pany for your skincare needs.

I received a gift card from my husband and kids for mother's day '12...just finally got some time to go in and use it. My appointment started with a massage that was soooo relaxing that I pretty much fell asleep for the last half of it. The lady did a good job with my lower back that has been bothering me for basically 3 years now. Another girl came in and did a facial that was much needed, it was really nice right after the massage and this was the part that I needed to get into a spa for in the first place. The products they have are great for the facials and they do a customized mask for whatever you have going on with your skin. Then my gift package came with a manicure to finish up but I asked if we could do a pedicure instead and the girl said "sure" so I did a pedicure with shallac. The shallac was a little extra but the polish hardens and stays on like two weeks so that was worth it. Thanks again to my hubby and kids for the gift!

Service Received: Invigorate Spa Package (60min Massage, 30min Facial, 30min Manicure) I'll preface that I've worked in the spa industry and am a licensed massage therapist. Going into a spa with "trained professionals" there's an expectation of boundaries and security when your body's comfort is in their hands. Pros: Cute set up; complimentary tea; rooms were sound proofed pretty well. Facial was relaxing and done well, probably the only part of the experience I enjoyed. Cons: I filled out an intake form that gave specifics on needs and wants. It was never read. The massage therapist ignored my request to work above the waist only and ignored the note that no secondary contact was wanted. In her approach she shook my body so much, the sheet and top blanket kept falling off my body, exposing me. I had to grab them several times to cover me up; it's like she wasn't paying attention, but noticed I had to keep grabbing the sheet and comments how she hated them. That was all in the first couple minutes. Beginning the actual massage the table was about 4-6inches too high and she couldn't reach my back without placing her breasts on top of my head. The back of my head was "motor boated" several times. Her body rubbed up against mine several times. This isn't all that happened, but was definitely the most uncomfortable parts. The massage was worse than any I've received, including untrained students. The manicure was okay, not great, but not the worst I've ever had. I'll never go back just based upon the massage experience. Some much needed training is needed for my massage therapist!

The girl who did my manicure absolutely ruined my nails. I had to go to an actual nail salon right after my appointment to get them redone and the person who fixed them had to cut my nails as far down as she could because my nails were ruined. Not happy and I wasted money.

Excellent experience with the invigorate package! Very well decorated facility that was very warm and inviting. The massage, facial and pedicure were great and extremely relaxing. Great customer service! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a calming spa experience!

Love their products! I get my face cleanser and tinted sunscreen here and I am very happy with the results. The sunscreen doesn't make my skin breakout (which normally happens with sunscreen) and even better, makes my skin look flawless. I have also received a massage at Avenues Day Spa and it is one of the best messages I have ever had. Thank you !

Maybe the worst massage I've ever paid for. I went with the deep tissue massage and asked the therapist to focus on my shoulders and neck. She focused on my neck for 10-15 minutes and the rest of the massage was a schizophrenic full body rub with lots time spent fiddling with towels and stones.I don't want to pay for someone to place hot towels all over my body. I can do that myself. $85 and it lasted less than 50 minutes. Also the massage room was cold (when you're naked) and the decor of the spa is a little dark and glitzy for my taste. Lots of beads and red curtains. The people were friendly.

Thank you! Thank you! I was preparing for my big cruise and wanted to slim down, your wrap worked awesome! I did a couple of them as suggested and it really did help out the areas around my butt and thighs. Cool thanks and the facial that I did the second time was so much better to help brighten me up and pass the time. i will be coming back for a massage too, gonna try to get a spa finders card and come in for a package. you guys were so friendly and it makes me feel at home, see you next time!

I went in for a classic manicure and spa pedicure. They do not do what they list. Honestly, I would have been better off going to an Asian salon. The one I use to go to in had better prices and do a much better job, "Top Tip Nail" in Midvale. What was list: Our Classic Manicure begins with a soak in lavender and sea salt, followed by nail and cuticle conditioning, nail shaping and cuticle grooming. Nourishing oils are massaged into your hands and arms and lastly, finish up with your choice of OPI nail color. Add Shellac for $15 What I received: Nail shaping and cuticle grooming and a Shellac job that wore off in the first 3 days of my vacation What was listed: Spa Pedicure $65 - (allow 60-75 min.) Relax while your feet are soaked in a purifying tea tree oil bath with grapefruit extract. Soften with Avocado Lipid Complex callus softener with green tea extract; exfoliate with AHA scrub with natural crystals. Nails are shaped, gently buffed and cuticles are tended to. Nourishing oils are massaged into your feet and ankles, followed by reflexology of feet. A clay mask mixed with cucumber, green tea essence and cooling menthol is applied to hydrate. Lastly, a moisture lotion with soothing botanical extracts, anti-oxidants, Vitamin A & E is applied to revitalize and renew tired feet. Finish up with your choice of OPI nail color. Add Shellac for $15. What I received: Spa Pedicure Relax while your feet are soaked in a purifying tea tree oil bath with grapefruit extract. Soften with Avocado Lipid Complex callus softener with green tea extract; exfoliate with AHA scrub with natural crystals. Nails are shaped, gently buffed and cuticles are tended to. I did get the Shellac on my feet too and this one did last for the 2 weeks that they say. ***I got this done in December the day I was leaving to FL. That is why it took so long to review the company. I didn't realize that they didn't do what they listed until I looked at the website today. They did offer to fix them when I got back. I had to take them off when I was down there for pictures.***

Had an amazing experience!! The relaxation started the minute you walked in and didn't end until we left. The massage set off the mood and was absolutely DIVINE! The facial finished off the massage and the pedicures were the icing on the cake. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and made sure that we were taken care of the whole time we were there!!
