If you are looking for a nail salon that can do Gel, DON'T go here! After sitting for 2 hours soaking off my old nails and applying the new set on, it seemed that the guy had never done anything but Dip nails. Today a nail cracked and they are to thin. Don't waste your money here, expensive lesson learned.

I had an incredibly nice woman who actually asked questions about my nails and double checked with me throughout the process (definitely don't get that everywhere & wish it would)! Ok, usually I like this place and my nails still look good after this incident, but I have to say something because I have never felt more uncomfortable. First off, the second I sat down my technician looks at me and asked me if wanted an eyebrow wax because my eyebrows look bad. One, I like the way they look and thanks for making me feel insecure. Next, I felt judged that I was getting gel nails instead of dip because she kept pressuring me to get dipped even though I didnt want it, and she kept talking about how too thin my nails were and bad they were. Which doesnt sound like a big deal but I dont know, I just felt judged all around between all of the little things that were happening. Next weird thing and the most frustrating thing was when I went to pay, she kept trying to get me to give her a cash tip, and then proceeded to pressure me to tip and watched how much I gave. Maybe it was just this one person, but it was all so unprofessional and uncomfortable that I really just dont want to go back because I dont want to be judged like that again. It was ridiculous. I usually dont write reviews or complain but I just cant not talk about it because it was a little upsetting.

Paid for gel manicure which at most salons will last almost three weeks. The polish began lifting before even one week had passed. Very disappointed. Staff was very friendly but either their gel polish is poor quality or they didn’t do something right in the process.

It was my first time been in that nail salon and it was horrible. First the guy couldn't take off my old nails , he kept hurting me while trying to take them off. Then he cut my nail to short were I start to bleed den while he was shaping around my nail he cut me in 4 fingers... at the end of the day my nail end up braking . I spend 45$ on SOME SIMPLE NAILS that broke the same night! No diamonds no nothing. I wouldn't care about the price alsongest my nails looked good.. But not even that my nails are all different shapes...... And my nails hurt .. all he was able to do was take 10$ off for taking off my nails. Original price would be 55$ . For SOME SIMPLE UGLY NAILS!! AM NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN. . Ladys in that salon are so lazy. I asked one of the ladys if she can do my nails instead all she said was " no he knows how to do good nails " wow..... Am stiking to the same nail salon I been going. Am so upset at the work they did here. I will recommend y'all not to go if you never been here. My first experience was HORRIBLE !

I was going to get the usual acrylic set, but the lady next to me had just finished up her SNS nails and let me look at them. So I gave it a shot. WOW! Lightest, prettiest nails I've ever had. Vivian did my SNS nails & she was so efficient and careful. I almost fell asleep while she was doing it. The atmosphere is nice, with complimentary drinks. The pedicure chairs were nice & very clean.

And they don't get the concept of customer service! We pay for what we want..they react to quick.they are only worried about the MONEY! that's a horrible way to do business!! Clean place nice staff but be sure you ask for pricing because they will tell you it is the same as what the original price is but then when you go to pay it ends up being more ! gel polish is $55 , even though it is on the same color wheel as the regular nail polish! it is a different price ! they don’t tell you that! I asked and she did not say! I asked again and she said yes it’s the same!! If you do a basic pedicure and they ask you for calluse scrub it is $10 not $5 like I was told!!!! It’s horrible customer service to be hit with extra fees you didn’t know you had to pay!! Unfortunately I Will not come back!

The first review I ever gave. & It is so unfortunate that I have to give this place a bad review. Only because the quality of her work was great! But, unfortunately my nail technician DID NOT LISTEN. I literally just left from getting my nails done. When I got there I advised I wanted to take my gel nails off and do the dipping powder. Proceed to pick out my colors and she see my looking at white and said you going to get white, I said yes with another color. When it came to her dipping my nails she immediately goes and gets white and starts (without confirming with me the color I was getting). She starts to put the white on all my nails I stopped her and said I wanted multiple colors, she goes to say yes ma'am not done yet. So I let her proceed. She gets done dipping my nails and proceeds to file them, I stop her AGAIN and said I wanted multiple colors she says, yes ma'am not done yet. She gets done filing and I stated to her I wanted glitter on some of my nails, she still says she is not done. We end up finishing and there is no glitter on my nails. I am disappointed because I advised her 3 times that this white is not the only color I wanted. I'm not sure if she did not understand me, but if she didn't I rather her or someone else tell me she did not understand but to blatantly just act like you understood what I was saying was not cool. Also, advised her at the beginning of my service I wanted a pedicure and she said okay. But, at the end walked me to the register as if I was done and didn't want my pedicure .( even though 3 other people were there, 2 just started a full set and 1 getting a pedicure). But, communicate that to me please. I have never been to a nail salon were I had to keep repeating myself and still not get what I want. I had already been there 2 hours and needed to get back to work.

This is honestly one of the worst nail salons I have ever been to. I have been twice and they were short staffed and out of several powder and gel colors. They did not do a good job of fixing my cuticles and the tools they used did not seem very clean. They used a dirty brush to scrub my feet and it looked like they had used the same brush on my feet that they used on another person without cleaning it. It was expensive for a low-quality mani-pedi.

I started going to U nails a few months ago because of their convenient location near TCU. While their facility isn't as fancy as some of the other salons in town, their service more than makes up for it. I always ask for Lily now because she is such a perfectionist and is always so friendly. One time, I was running late and she got both my nails and toes done in record timing and both still came out perfect. I've never had a bad manicure or pedicure with them and TCU students get a discount!

I’m not one to post reviews, especially not poor ones but If I could be of any help please take my advice and don’t take your business here, it’s not worth it. Some staff memebers were very very rude and the whole service was rushed despite us getting there with ample time for the work to be done before they close, we arrived 2 hours before closing time. I got a pedi and mani and my fingernails were aching for about 3 or 4 days after I got them done (the nail tech was extremely harsh when working on them) and not to mention they were uuuuglyy, misshapen, uneven, with bumps and bubbles and the nail tech did not let me get the color I had asked for. When it came time to pay our bill they were difficult and did not want to split it as we had asked (it was a check for 3 sets of manis and 3 pedis, me and my friend were paying for our other friend since it was her birthday and we wanted to pay exactly half and half) My other friend also did not get her nails shaped like she specifically asked, she bought supplies so we could fix our own nails later. Not one more of my pennies will be spent here. I’ve never had such an unpleasant experience at a nail salon and “spa.”

Horrible management/customer service! I’ve been coming here on and off for a little over a year and the nail techs are great and I’ve always been pleased with my nails BUT I was double charged and yes accidents like that do happen sometimes but the way it was handled was horrible, I simply just wanted a refund for the over charge I was not confrontational about the situation, this happened on a Friday afternoon and that evening i spoke with a male manager and let him know what had happened he asked if I could give it 24 hours and if it was still there he would issue me a refund which was understandable, I even waited till Tuesday to let everything post in my bank account so I went in and spoke to the managers wife she was so rude I showed her my bank statement where I had been charged twice and she turned around grabbed a bank money bag pulled out cash and as she handed it to me she rolled her eyes and went back to what she was doing! Never did she apologize for THEIR mistake nor said ANYTHING else to me! I was in shock! I said um ok?! And walked out! I can’t believe they would treat a long time customer that way, I’ve spent lots of money there on myself and my daughters I’ve recommended them to my friends and that’s the kind of customer service I get back? Smh! U Spa & Nails lost my business!

I came here last night for the second time. I was hoping Kelly was there but they said she was off. I let someone else do my nails I wanted dip. Alison I think was her name she did a good job but I was not happy. by the time I finished I just was not pleased. She seemed new to dip. The management was awesome about making me happy they soaked them off and said I could go back today. I was so pleased with the customer service they wanted to make me happy they were willing to redo them that same day. I was so tired and I'm sure they were tired as well. I highly recommend this place. They go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy.

I loved this place!! I had Tina and she was amazing. She took her time, especially during the foot/leg massage (my favorite part) and she did a great job cleaning up my feet and with the paint job. Came in at the last minute and at 8 pm to get an emergency pedicure. Tina was fabulous! Took her time and gave one of the best foot rubs I have had at any pedicure salon. I came here to get dip nails and they insisted on drilling the dip nail off my nails instead of soaking them off with acetone. Then he told me they would have to use the drill on my real nails. The guy told me it would take too long. I told him I didn't want a drill in my real nails Use the file. He turned me away. I went to Upscale Nail Bar two weeks prior and they used the file on my real nails like asked for and my nails were gorgeous. I only came here because they were open until 10. They have bad customer service

Wow! Very impressed! I went to U Nails today after reading reviews on Yelp. I'm staying in the area and U Nails was convenient. I noticed their extended hours which was nice to see. As I entered I was greeted right away by the owner, Top, very nice guy! He explained the SNS Dipping Powder and I decided to try it along with a pedi. Both ladies were very kind and friendly. Both ladies looked me in the eyes when we were talking, listened when I had a question or comment and that made me feel at ease and included, like I mattered and wasn't just a number! They had tons of color options and I believe organic options as well. I love the SNS powder! Easy, quick and it seems healthier for nails. Definitely no odors! Beautiful! The pedicure, all I can say is OUTSTANDING! I did the #4- we're talking massage, hot towels, yummy orange smelling scrub, hot wax, hot stone massage and on and on! My feet were beyond help and I am shocked and amazed at how beautiful my toes and feet look! I feel like a female again- ready to wear strappy sandals and use elegant hand gestures!! I had the pleasure of sitting and talking with Top, the owner! When does that happen in a spa? NEVER! What a personable, hard working, friendly guy! Top has owned this spa for 15 months. He's turned it around by hard work, integrity and taking care of his employees as well as clients! If you look at old reviews they are not great BUT it's BEFORE Top took over! Now, as the new owner, you will see 4-5 stars! Very clean, very nice, very beautiful work, very impressed and very positive! U Nails will be THE ONLY place I will ever go! Thank you all for a unique, positive experience!

There are many salons in the area. Do not go here. I was charged $25 for removal of gel from 4 fingernails and a basic manicure. Overpriced compared to similar nail salons in the area. Their website stated $18 for manicure. Seven dollars to remove gel. Not to mention, it was not enjoyable. I should have read the reviews before deciding on this place. I recommend Four Seasons Nail Salon, 3400 West 7th St.

I have been to several nail salons in my lifetime and this by far was the best I've ever been to. Tina was my technician and she went above and beyond to make me feel and look great! She took her time to rub the tension out of my legs and did wonderfully on my pedicure. I got waxed and she did a fabulous job. She rubbed some lavender oil on my shoulders because she could just see how I just needed some TLC. Thank you, Tina! You rock! When first arriving, i was sat down pretty quickly. Sat there for a good 10 mins without anybody saying a word, after telling the manager I had to get back to work, he finally started taking my polish off. I very blankly told him not to make them short, he gets up another woman sits down and gets to work. She makes my nails VERY short and when i tell her I don't like them, she tells me they were uneven (she cut them uneven) and starts to ignore me. As i check out, the manager tells me its higher than what he originally tell me.. They do have a very good color range but I will not be going back and now I have to wait awhile before doing anything because my nails are so short. UPDATE****** My "GEL" polish started cracking and coming off 3 days later, went back for a refund and got it. Will not be going back.

Severely disappointed. My dip nails only lasted a week because she had no idea how to put them on. They usually last 3-4 weeks before I really need a touch up. They cut each finger with the grinder and they really grind them down to almost nothing my nails are now egg shells. They had to stay late because they had no idea how to make a straight line and were really rude and rough on my friends nails. I’ll never go back.

I went to get a manicure with dip nails and they completely skipped the manicure part. Then the nail tech tells me how I have such bad cuticles. The nails were not the color I requested, lopsided, and extremely thick. I felt like I was being rushed out. The result was so bad I had to go to another salon that day to have them fixed and the nail tech there was shock to see how poorly my nails were done.

I have been coming to UNails for a little over a year. My experience has just been better and better everytime. I have a tech now, that is very pleasant and is always willing to please me with my many request. She just takes her time and makes sure I leave happy. Hours of availability are great too.

I’ve gone here several times. They offer complementary wine which is very nice. I’ve never had an issue with my nails and the staff is very kind. The owner is nice to talk to and I have never minded advertising for him to spread the word. Any time that I have gone, at least one person has remembered me which is nice.

Don’t bother. My mom and I were visiting Fort Worth and popped in to get pedicures. Nail techs were rough, didn’t listen, and tried to nickel and dime us for every little thing, while offering complimentary neck massages to regulars. No one offered foam flip flops to either of us, something that has literally never happened to me at any nail salon. Disappointing!

I was very excited to try this place as the rating are very high. The atmosphere was average, typical nail salon. However, my manicure was absolutely awful. I asked for the dip powder. After completing my manicure, I had dip powder all over my hands, the nail tech cut my fingers with the filing machine, my nails were all uneven, different lengths and very thick!! To emphasize on the uneven nails, the top coat was not evenly applied, and the edges of my nails are a combination of various straight lines that are in around shape. After telling her that to smooth out the edges and make my nails round, the tech was rude and upset that I asked her to correct the problem. Now, I am left with awful looking nails for an event I have this weekend. I am completely embarrassed. It was absolutely NOT worth $45. I will not be going back!

Best experience. I walked in and was greeted by Jenny. She made me feel like she truly wanted to help me. I got dipping powder French and it looks great. I had a stroke so my left fingers are stiff and don't move much. Therefore, it's a challenge for nail techs to work on me. Jenny never once complained and told me not to worry or feel bad. She treated me like we were best friends instead of 2 strangers who just met. I've never been treated so well.

If I could give no star I would. And not because of the staff but the owner himself literally made me feel like a criminal when I was clearly trying to pay. And by choice they didn't except my form of payment. With an American Express card. That they even had a sticker on the window saying excepted.. I left in tears and I will never ever recommend anyone there. The service was over priced and just ok. But to have the owner himself lie and speak to me the way he did. I know I'm only one person so this won't make a difference 0but I wouldn't recommend anyone there. At all. Literally the worst customer service from the owner. I tried paying then after presenting my card was informed there card machine isn't taking American Express. Not once did I ever try to leave without pay. I'm an honest person. My husband is Active duty military. I'm a mom of 5. Why would I try to waste my time and trouble to not pay a whopping 45 $ when my intentions were to get my nails done with my friend. Which btw I had picked this location because of the great reviews and the hours my friend and I were both super excited to try out. And not once did I say I was going to bring my BOYFRIEND, down. I'm married. I remember saying I was going to call and see what I could have done but you were so worried about that 45$ you decided to hear what you wanted. Calling the police and lieing to them in front of your employee, my self and a customer. Shame on you. If I was in the wrong why are you so quick to defend yourself after my post. Also for all of you who decide to go there not only do the have surveillance cameras there's also a live camera that is on. He spoke over the camera to the nail tech who was doing my nails. Overall horrible experience. Horrible person.

I am not a regular, but my girl friend is, for a long time now. Topp is great! The whole salon she trust to touch her nails! The quality is consistent no matter who I get. U Nails is clean, very little acrylic odor, but my girl gets the SNS Dip. They pamper us with drinks, waxing is quick, easy to get in. This is my place for relaxing, getting pedicures. It is a great date night out. Overall Great experience, friendly, relaxed environment. The Best Her toes have looked all season with the gel polish. Been over a week and they still look wet, like we just left the salon. Will definitely be back!!

Came in for a full set and polish change on my toes and was turned away and was told that they're not doing anymore full sets. As I advised the guy in the front that it just turned 9pm and i just called and explained what i was needing and was told that it was fine to come in. As i drove from across town to make sure i was there before 10pm. I proceeded to go in and wasn't greeted by no one the was a huge deal breaker for me. I was standing there looking like a plain fool until I was finally acknowledge. My toes was rushed verrrrrrry horrible job. I could've done it myself or had my 6yr old niece to do them. I left with my nails undone. The worst experience i ever had in a nail shop. I will neverrrrrrrrrr return back here again.

Wonderful place. They offer late hours which is a plus. They even have a fully stocked bar. You can't get any better. Friendly staff, clean environment, and wonderful service. You can't go wrong. I have even seen them host private events. Can't say enough positive things!!! Great deluxe pedicure....they massage for a long time....and the manicure is the same!!!
