Had a grpupon for facial, wrap, and massage. Unfortunalety our scheduled therapist went home sick that day....it happens. The service we received to make up for that was excellent! We didn't lostwn to our voicemail about the massage being cancelled, so we had to wait an hour for the rest of our services. But during the wait, we had a hot foot soak amd momosas. They warmed the water from time to time and refilked our drinks. (They offered a sauna, but I don't care for saunas so got the soak). The facial and wrap were amazing! Can't wait to get my massage!

Had a Groupon offer that I redeemed. They will try to upsell, and it is usually for the "up grade" of what you already purchased, so buyer beware. Other than that, this was one heck of a spa! Loved the atmosphere and the staff was professional. I have already booked my next appointment.

They offer a great deal of services! My issue is they never answer the phone to schedule be able to schedule your appointment. So you’ll leave a message and They call back a week later. To me that’s not great customer service! However when you do get an appointment and you actually get in the services are awesome.

The people are very friendly and the environment is cute and clean. I bought a deal package for “Return the Glow Head to Toe” which included a body wrap, facial, body scrub, deep conditioning treatment for hair, some other scrub for the face and an oxygenation treatment. All for $159. I was impressed that they would do all of this for $159. When I got there they said the services would only take one hour, which shocked me. I quickly understood why.. the whole thing felt like a rush job. The girl didn’t even know all the items in the package and didn’t even do the body scrub though I showed her my confirmation email that listed the services several times. The body wrap was just them spreading some cactus oil on you and loosely wrapping your arms, legs and torso. It was a very sloppy wrap.. didn’t at all give the toning/ detoxing effect it is supposed to. Overall it was an okay experience, but I would not have paid $159 for one hour of half-effort services. My general impression is the place is new and has staff that are just beginning in their career.

I bought a package for massage, facial and a wrap. At the time I booked they didn't have time to do my massage with the other services so I opted to just have the facial and wrap done. They had another Amanda scheduled at the same time as me. I arrived early but wasn't called on until 5 minutes after my appointment time. The tech took me into a room and started asking me questions that you get asked when you get a massage. I told her I was there for a facial. It turned out there was another Amanda there and they hadn't bothered to differentiate the two. She took me back to the waiting room where I waited another 5 minutes. I wasn't taken back until 10 minutes after my appointment time for my wrap and facial. By the time we got started it was almost 15 after. The wrap was something new to me so I don't have any comparison to make on that but the facial was amateur at best. It was very quick. Even though my appointment started very late, she did not make up for the time. She finished on time which means my appointment was cut very short. Huge waste of time and money for me. I won't be back for my massage even though I already paid for it with the package.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I bought two Groupons and set up an appointment for my partner and I to get a couples massage in December. I was informed during that phone call that our previous massage therapist no longer worked there (which was a bummer but I understood) and they also said the soonest they could book us was today, February 6th. Again, I set this up in December. So today we went to get our massages we've been looking forward to (after a previous massage here that was very relaxing and enjoyable). When we went to check in they claimed there was no appointment booked. Two months y'all. We waited two months and cleared our schedules and requested off work for them to have NEVER booked our appointment. They attempted to offer for one of us to get a massage today but we were wanting a couple massage which was what we booked... kinda defeats the purpose. Anyway won't be back. Customer service is awful and so are the receptionists.

I had a very relaxing experience today with Abby and Chandra(?) I used a package that had a body wrap, facial, and hot stone massage. Abby seemed very knowledgeable about products and treatments; it would be nice if there had been some sort of follow up. Like a note at checkout listing recommended products?.. since I couldnt exactly write things down during my treatment. I will definitely be back!

I have frequented the Village Spa for several years now, and it is without question my favorite spa in the area. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the ambiance is perfect. They often offer special packages at reduced prices, and they stay very current with newer treatment options. They do book up quickly on Saturdays, which is to be expected for such a high quality and client friendly establishment. Highly recommend!

If you can ever actually get in they are great. DO NOT BUY ANY PACKAGES! You have to book months in advance and if something comes up you are screwed for a few more months. I have been trying to get in to use my package for almost 4 months, but booking 6 weeks or more in advance just does not work with my changing work schedule (and getting in on a Saturday is near impossible).

Great services are a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Serene atmosphere that is quite calming and relaxing. Schedules are often booked quite far in advance, so you may have to wait. But, my visit was well worth the wait.

Got a Groupon for mothers day to try out this place out. Pro: Clean, friendly staff, minimal wait. Con: Their specialists are not master techs. Never in my life have I broken out, but they obviously don't use hypoallergenic products so my skin was irritated for days after a facial. I usually always fall asleep during facials, but this one kept me awake. The soothing facial massage was non existent, it was more like a "rub the product into my face" kind of way. Body massage wasn't terrible, until she made me itch, means I got rubbed too fast in that area. No bueno. I still tipped generously, but had higher expectations for the prices that they originally would charge. Groupon pricing ok, but regular price? I'd rather spend it at Nordstrom Spa, Daired's, ect where they only employ master techs.

my husband bought me a groupon spa package for $99 and I went to book it and they wouldn't let me book it without giving them my credit card information!! My service was already paid for and I didn't want to give them a credit card and they wouldn't make the appointment for me even thought the $99 service was already paid for!!!!!! They just lost a customer but it looks like they just stole $99 from me!!

GREAT package at an amazing price! I was preparing for my wedding (because who wouldn't want to look great in their wedding dress!?) and was interested in getting a weight loss wrap. My biggest concern was that I wanted to get the most "bang for my buck" and actually feel like it made a difference. While visiting family in Dallas I found Spa at the Village and they had a special on a weight loss wrap that INCLUDED a bunch of other upgraded services with it! Here was the best part- I wanted to buy the package, but didn't want to use it until a later date (closer to the wedding). The girl at the front told me that all of their packages never expire!!! So I was able to buy the package (on sale) and I went in for the service about 2 months later. I've never been to another spa that didn't have a short expiration date on a sale package. I will definitely be buying my family packages from this spa for Christmas. LOVED THIS PLACE!

I love this spa! They use Eminence products which include all natural and organic ingredients. The staffs are very nice and professional. Lauren is the best esthetician! She gave me all types of advice and tips to deal with my hormonal acne. I'm so glad I met her! Highly recommended this place!

I never thought I would be a victim of racial or social bias. I am not one to complain nor have I ever left a bad review for any company. However, I would not recommend anyone to this establishment. I felt completely disregarded as a guest and even a human being. I wish I had read the reviews before I went here. I had a similar experience as some stated in other reviews. While other guests (socially well off) who arrived on wrong dates received mimosas, myself & other solo guests were left in thirst. After driving an hour and a half & taking the day off from work, they told me my massage therapist unexpectedly went to the hospital? I told them I didn't mind and that I'd take someone else. They told me they were fully booked and "kindly" apologized. I will never return here and I am truly hurt that I had to experience such biased behavior from a business and I don't recommend this place to anyone.

Tried to schedule my appointment and the answer was "oh, for groupons we don't have any availability until over a month from now" I was treated as if I was asking for a free service!... They sold this package, it is them who should have stopped when they saw it was selling beyond their capability. I honestly was trying to find a place I liked for my future Spa services, I am not a groupon hunter, but after this terrible costumer service I won't even consider bringing my business to them... Too bad

There are some other reviews that weren't so good from other groupon customers, but I did not experience those same problems. We scheduled our appointments in advance and received wonderful service. I purchased a package which included a 50 minute hot stone massage, however, I was told that hot stone was an elevation that needed to be purchased separately. If it is not part of the purchase then maybe take if out of the description so that consumers know exactly what they are purchasing. Lying about the offer to make sales is uncalled for. My package included 5 services, however, two of the services I was told were elevations that I needed to purchase separately. I purchased the package because of what was listed. I also had to ask for a robe and a bag to put my clothes in. I was never given flip flops like everyone else so I had to put my own shoes back on. I also had to carry my own bag around which I don't mind its just that everyone else had their bags carried for them. I was 15 minutes early for my appointment and they were 25-30 minutes late. My spa time there should have been an hour and 40 minutes, but both my masseuse and aesthetician finished early...which is not good when we are talking about spa treatments. I will never go to this establishment again. Also I thought if was weird that plastic gloves were worn for my hand, arm, and foot massage.

I discovered this place via Groupon, where I purchased a package deal. The facility was clean, nice, inviting. The staff was friendly, and sometimes with a Groupon that is not the case. The services were nice and the staff was professional and good at their craft. I like that they offered me the option to purchase the same package at the same price and it never expires! I received a massage for Christmas from a friend. When I made the appointment the lady on the phone specifically stated that my gift card included gratuity. After the massage I left and someone from the spa actually called me and said I didnt leave gratuity.. really? You're going to call me fishing for gratuity? For one, it was already included ($25), how ya'll didnt know when I checked out is beyond me because the person who made my appointment knew, and for two, you're really going to call me and ask for me to come back and give gratuity without even asking if my massage was okay or if there had been any problems if you think I purposely didnt leave gratuity? Never seen such a thing. This place is awful not just because of what just happened (I'm still in shock someone would think this is acceptable), it takes over a month to schedule an appt! There are a million other places to go, DONT GO HERE!

I purchased a package for myself for a 50 minute facial, 50 massage, and 20 minute body scrub. When I arrived, I had to wait 15 minutes due to both receptionists being on the phone and ignoring me. Finally, one of them starts to take me to the back, and the other is trying to confirm that I have a body wrap, which is not what I purchased. I clarified what I had bought and wanted, and with some confusion, continued to the back for my facial. From the moment the esthetician began to work on my face, she was pushing products and asking me to pay more for an "elevated" experience, aka an expensive upgrade. I declined, but was asked multiple times throughout the day if I wanted additional "elevation" and if I wanted other products. My facial was shortened by about 5 minutes, then I was ushered into a hallway waiting room to wait for my massage/scrub. I waited for about 15 more minutes, and was finally taken into a massage room. The masseuse again pushed products and promotions the entire time, which made it impossible to relax and enjoy the experience. She also combined my scrub/massage into the same 50 minutes, which was not what I had paid for. On the way to check out and tip these ladies, the masseuse literally handed me a few products that she had selected for me without any expression of interest or prior discussion, with an actual receipt attached to them and said "you told me you sometimes exfoliate your feet, so I've picked out a few items for you." Needless to say, I declined to purchase their products and packages again at the register, and will not be returning for any treatments in the future. I understand pushing your products, but this was a horrible experience and so far from relaxing!

I sent a family member here as a gift (who is an esthetician herself) and her report back was very disappointing. The Facial Products are fake copies of the real ‘Branded’ products. She said the service wasn’t bad but that this location was selling branded facials and using generic products (like plain aloe vera as a substitute for a branded cream). She said it was bluntly obvious to her that the products used were not the real branded products due to simply the smell and feel as she uses all of them on a daily basis. I felt horrible sending someone here and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Please share so others don’t get ripped off too.

Disappointed in this place; they are very bad at returning calls, and I was promised a refund for an item I ordered 2/20/19 and was not told there would be a shipping delay, so as of today 3/12/19 I think I may have to dispute this with my credit card company. Maybe someone there will read my Google review and call me back? They don't have a Facebook page for their business, and I'm wondering if they were getting a lot of bad reviews there also and maybe took it down.

If I could give this place a zero I would. I had two Groupon coupons and had appointments scheduled at the Rockwall location, which they closed without any notice. I have tried calling this location numerous times and always get the recording that the mailbox is full so you cannot leave a message. They owe me $80. They are CROOKS and my next stop is the Better Business Bureau!

Update to my review below - The manager did contact me after I wrote them directly and has explained their end of the miscommunication and has offered to invite my wife back to give her a better experience. My rating has changed from 2 to 3 stars, for now. If my wife is blown away with her return visit, I will change it to a 5. If she is impressed, a 4, and if she thinks it was just okay, I'll keep it at a 3. ------------------ I dropped my wife off at the spa this morning a few minutes past 9 am for a Sugar & Spice package I purchased for her for mother's day. The package includes a 50 minute massage, 50 minute body wrap, and 50 minute facial. However, we were informed that the session would only be 2 hours, or 100 minutes, because they do the body wrap and facial at the same time. We were okay with that. But they issue came after I picked up my wife after 2 hours. Fully expecting her to be very satisfied and happy after the treatments, she came to the car and looked very upset and unsatisfied. I asked her what the issue was. She said everything was okay, nothing exceptional or amazing, except for the fact that she felt that she received only 2/3 of the treatments. For some reason the person in charge of her body wrap and facial indicated to my wife that she could not do the body wrap for my wife because she was still breastfeeding our 11 month old. She didn't give her a choice to postpone the body wrap treatment to a later date after my wife had stopped breastfeeding. Instead, she told my wife that she would include "add-ons" to the facial, like using a special scrub, etc. My wife left very confused and upset that she felt she was "cheaped out on" by the woman that refused her the body wrap. First of all, to us, that is a complete fallacy. My wife looked rules/guidelines for those breastfeeding and could not find any clinically proven data showing that it was inappropriate to receive a body wrap while breastfeeding. Not sure why my wife was told that she could not be given a body wrap other than the technician being personally against it or just did not want to give the body wrap. I would like to be pointed to where on the company website where it states that the technicians do not offer body wraps to breastfeeding women. I'm quite upset as well, because the treatments my wife received are short of what I paid for. The "extras" that were supposedly given to my wife were, as my wife explained, what the facial was made of...meaning that if you took away what the technician referred to as "extras", there would be no facial! What should have been done, from a customer service-sense, would have been to offer whatever facial "add-on" complimentary and to have given my wife a rain-check or the ability to postpone for the body wrap. I purchased this treamtent for my wife as a gift and was hoping in the weeks leading up to the appointment that nothing of this sort would happen, that my wife would have an enjoyable time where she didn't feel shorted. I certainly gave this spa the benefit of the doubt and was giving them every chance to make the appointment perfect for my wife. That didn't happen, and I'm really disappointed that they did not offer my wife a complimentary body wrap for a later date when she was done. Maybe it was the specific technician and not the spa policy, but whatever the case, I have to give a rating of 2* for the unfulfillment of what I paid for the specific spa package.

My services were top notch, and the staff was very inviting and professional. The place had trendy decor, but was still comfortable. This spa also has the most comfortable, fluffy, soft, best bathrobes ever made. I wanted to steal one, but I'm pretty sure that they would have noticed if I wore it out. I've already scheduled my next appointment.

This will be my new go to spa when I am at home and I need a little pick me up. I have to admit, they could use some updating... Or maybe I'm just used to a different experience. I take trips to Vegas and enjoy the spas at the hotels. So naturally they include so much more with any spa service. I'm used to unlimited sauna use, access to a gym, pool, nail salon, hair salon, and a changing room with lockers and showers... I know space at this location is limited... But considering the price I will still prefer my spa in Vegas any day. But I did pre-purchase some bundle spa treatments they had on sale. Cause I admit, I love spas, and this one is close to home.

When I walked in, I was greeted by my esthetician and asked if I wanted a cucumber or lemon water. The waiting area was very plush and nice. There was a video running explaining the ingredients of their skin care line and as a fellow esthetician I found it very informative. I arrived rather early but my service was started on time and my esthetician was very knowledgeable. If I had one suggestion, it would be to have clients fill out an information sheet. It's important to know if you're working with someone who has allergies to anything you may be putting on their face. It's good to have someone sign a release form as well, just in case. Typically nothing happens, but it's good to cover yourself if someone hasn't told you they have an allergy to salycilates and they don't tell you. My facial was crazy relaxing. I have some purging today, but my skin feels incredibly smooth. My massage was very therapeutic and I enjoyed it thoroughly. One more suggestion would be to have music in the rooms as well. My room didn't seem to have any music and the only sound was the air vent in the ceiling. Overall I would definitely come back. The quality of the services was awesome, the atmosphere was gorgeous and comfortable, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Hope to be back and see you again!

I bought a groupon for this spa package. After an initial booking mishap, which they were very sorry for and attempted to remedy as soon as possible, I had a nice experience. The booking mishap made it so my groupon had expired, but they honored it in full no questions asked when I let them know my situation. Korrina and Lauren were both great as my technicians.
