I was under the impression by the phone call I made that I would be getting a consultation on the chemical peel [tca peel] that I asked about and I would be getting it that day upon setting my appointment. When I get to my appointment I am taken to get a facial which is something I didn't ask for! And then after the facial I was consulted on a entirely different chemical peel than what I asked about. I ended up paying $115 on a facial I didn't want! I won't be returning. Edit- No a basic facial for my face was not discussed between me and the esthetician. As I said to the esthetician I had no idea I was set up for a facial just a consultation for the chemical peel that I wanted. Ask the paying customer before you take word from your esthetician! That is what is making me upset.

I took my sister here as a gift for being my Maid of Honor. I got her a $135 gift card for a 50 minute wellness massage, which actually ended up being a 30 minute massage. We both walked in at the same time for our massages, but she was done about 20 minutes before me and mine ran exactly 50 minutes. I asked the receptionist and she even agreed that Lauren (sister) was waiting for a good while before I was done, and apologized for the short time and said the massage therapist had more appointments. Lauren had already given the $135 gift card to the receptionist before I had a chance to ask about what happened. I feel like this was a huge waste of money and a total ripoff. I told the receptionist I was not comfortable paying for a 30 minute massage, when it was supposed to be 50 minutes. She said it was too late to compensate us, and she could give me a discount on my next visit, but that was the best she could do. Why would I want to come back? I then asked to speak to a manager, which there was not one there at the spa, and then she could not get a hold of anyone on the phone either. She finally got a hold of someone through the computer? Poor customer service on the management part. After all that, I was given 20 dollars off of my massage that day, but that was the best they could do. Although I really enjoyed my prenatal massage, I would not come back here due to the poor customer service. I typically go to V-Spa at Hilton Anatole (highly recommend), but wanted to try somewhere new with my sister, when I should have just stuck to my normal go-to spot.

Hidden gem, that once found never want to let it go! It is located in the back of Travis shopping mall. (And if we read the introduction email more recently we would have remembered there is parking in the back) They do send out paperwork ahead of time which makes your spa experience that much easier. Though on my husbands computer the link was having issues, but I never found a problem. When we arrived check in was easy just a double check who we were and a walk into the calming waiting room. You do have the option to change at this time, but we were also offered to change in the room. (Which we elected) we were offered drinks and in general relaxation and everyone had such a great attitude. Our technicians, Kate and Carrie, retrieved us and we did the normal talking and general information pull (when was your last massage etc) reviewed what we were doing and left us to undress. The couples room places the tables angled toward each others head but enough room for people to walk around. They have a fireplace set up with a fake fire. The massage was very relaxing and for my husbands 2nd massage he now is willing to come back (his first being at the Disney's high end spa and he couldn't relax) They are very professional and honestly him being a novice made him feel safe and discussed his issues for future. (Thank you!) Me being a avid massage queen I felt right at home and honestly I almost fell asleep (which never happens) bc I was so relaxed. Overall amazing experience and for my husband a first with him wanting to come back! ♡ thank you for this. So overall perfect the only change I would recommend is having a crackle sound for the fake fireplace but this is not a necessity and probably not appreciated in summer but with today's cold day it would have been perfect.

I just moved to Dallas from Chicago. I have been searching for a facialist to replace mine that I have been going to for a decade. I found the BEST!!!!! James is a perfectionist at what he does. James is very thorough, you feel his genuine care from begininning to the end of yourservice. First he analyzed my skin and asked my concerns. I was getting a dermaplaning and the Eminence Organic Facial. He took great care and was so meticulous and through during the entire service. I highly recommend upgrading to the 80 min facial which I did. Your skin will feel amazing, days after my skin is still soft and hydrated.

My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary with a couples massage and were fortunate enough to have Toby and Scott and our experience was all around excellent! The front desk staff was very knowledgeable and communicative, and our massage therapists made sure that we were well taken care of and all of our needs were met. I usually have a hard time with male massage therapists not providing enough pressure (because of my petite size) when I ask for it and Toby did a perfect job! We would highly recommend going here and can’t wait to go back!

What a great visit, the staff and massage exceeded expectation. The relaxation lounge starts the process, you can have wine or mimosa or just chill out. My message was just amazing and the technician was very attentive to areas we’d discussed. I was encouraged to relax a bit more in the lounge before driving home. I was so relaxed! I really have a thing about communication and customer service. You can tell that they invest in it here. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Great job!

I was really excited for the couple’s floatation because of the great reviews and the upscale location, but left disappointed. Everything is very nice and luxurious, except for one main flaw that ruined everything: the rooms in the floatation tanks are way too cold. The tanks are nice and heated to body temperature (90s), yet you step out into an air conditioned room that causes you to shiver like crazy. And then the ground you step on is some stone/concrete that feels even colder than the room! So much for sensory deprivation and relaxation. Not exactly sure how such a glaring flaw wasn’t accounted for. If you want a floatation tank, just get the $30 Groupon for a place in Richardson. If you want a luxurious floatation tank, don’t waste your money here!

I visited this AMAZING spa last weekend and I am so glad I did! let me just start with the front desk staff... They are so sweet and attentive. As soon as I walked in, I was welcomed with smiles, offered a robe, and a complimentary mimosa bar! Alyssa, who was so helpful with all of my questions, showed me around the spa, and let me know that Kate, my massage tech, would be right with me. Kate was so knowledgeable and knows exactly what she is doing! Working manual labor, my back, shoulders, and arms are always sore but after my massage with Kate, I feel like a new person! I am definitely coming back!

We were 3 very unhappy pregnant ladies going back after a very dissatisfying prenatal massage of 15 mins. Worst thing was the customer service. Not happy and not coming back again.

I''d probably give a zero if it would let me. We had a horrible experience here. We had a baby sprinkle planned with a couple of pregnant women, who were flying in for the weekend. We left ahead of time, as well. We called them 30 mins prior to our appointment informing that the tollway was completely blocked up and there was no quicker route to get us there faster. We checked what happens as we could be about 5 mins late, they said it'll creep into our service time, we asked if they could reschedule or cancel or be a little flexible here. I mean we were just stuck, their tone was harsh, they wouldn't budge, weren't even trying to work with us. We got there and it took us over 10 mins to find the place, the parking lot and a parking spot that was so tight that us pregnant ladies had to hop over to the passenger side to get out of our car. We get to an elevator that doesn't work! Finally when we got to the place we were 15 mins late, they told us there's nothing they could do about it, and it'll be a 30min service instead of the 50 that we'll be paying for. Well, we agreed as there's absolutely nothing we could do about it. We got in our massage rooms, no robes, no lockers offered. All of our massages lasted 15 mins! Not the 30 mins they told us, just 15 mins. I had the pregnancy belly pillow, my friend just had regular pillows, it was a joke! We were all so upset and stressed at the end of it. And this was supposed to be our celebration! I wouldn't recommend this place, I mean a little understanding would have been nice. And it's definitely not the fancy place that they claim to be, so many better spas around! Def it's a no no for prenatal massages, I don't think their massage therapist was experienced or trained for prenatal.

I recently took advantage of spa week and booked a facial with Hailee Spear. I also added the pumpkin mud facial for an addition fee. It was phenomenal!!! I left with a glow to my face and my skin felt completely rehydrated!Per Hailee’s recommendation, I purchased a facial wash and has been using it for a week, it has definitely made my skin less oily. The location of this spa is also prime! Right in heart of Travis Walk surrounded by shops and restaurants. Garage Parking is free adjacent to the building. Spa is super clean and the staff is kind and welcoming from check in to check out. Complementary wine also included with service!! Will definitely re-visit!!

I absolutely love this place. I got a gift certificate for my birthday to go here, and I've kept coming back since! First of all, the atmosphere there is wonderful. You instantly feel relaxed the minute you walk in, welcomed by the registrars and offered refreshing spa water while you wait. They even have a relaxation room with comfy chairs and soothing music for you to relax in before or between services. I get regular Signature Wellness massages from Pamela Lux, and she is the absolute best! She knows my body and works certain places accordingly. She applies just the right amount of pressure to help loosen my constantly tight muscles. Plus, we always have a great time catching up! For anyone who wants a massage therapist who knows what she's doing and is also passionate about it, choose Pamela! I have never had a bad experience at Riviera Spa, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a regular place to get massages or facials. I look forward to going here every chance I get!
