This was one of the best experiences of my life. The staff is unbelievable. I got the signature spa package as a birthday gift which was 4hrs+ and included a massage, facial, manicure, and pedicure. All the services were perfect. I will be back. Did I mention all products are natural/organic!

I was thinking for a long time if I should leave a comment or not. I had a day spa and hair treatment. With both I was happy on one hand and completely disappointed on the other. I had very good massage but horrible quality manicure with rude person who jump every 3 min as she had things missing on her table , and shellac lasted 3 days only .. I have beautiful balayage but the technique used on my hair was the longest ever and as painful as you can imagine. 3! People could not brush my hair over 2 h , so the stylist run out the time and would not finish with me and had to combine with other customers and speed up as a result terrible haircut with no due attention. If you charge 450$ for the service I expect 100% attention to myself and not sharing with other clients and waiting .

I went to milk + honey on a Saturday and had a 60 minute signature massage with Anwar. I like strong hands, and my massage with Anwar was one of the best massages I have ever had! I will definitely be back and will leave myself more time next time to use all the facilities.

Originally I had a massage, manicure and pedicure scheduled with my friends. Unfortunately my masseuse had a health emergency and I couldn't get my massage. However the manager went above and beyond by allowing me to add on anything to my manicure and pedicure and also offered a free facial. She also made sure the day was still special for my friends as well. Even though things didn't work out for the massage, I was very happy with my manicure and pedicure and the excellent customer service. I will definitely be going back.

Her positive attitude and bubbly personality is really infectious and you can't help but feeling better after going to see her. (Of course the massages are great too)

Booked a cut appointment at Milk + Honey for the first time a week ago with whom the receptionist called one of their "best stylists". After having to wait over 30 minutes past my appointment time, my stylist proceeded to ignore all of my hair concerns and give me what has to be my worst haircut to date. Not only is it not what I asked for but it is technically atrocious. Please think twice before booking your next cut here.

I have been coming to milk+honey for over a year. Every experience is perfect from start to finish. I was referred here by a friend and I always recommend it to people. It is a high end salon, and gorgeous yet not pretentious at all! Every staff member is so professional. I come for salon service which is the best I have ever had in my life. I have visited the spa as well for massages. AMAZING. I love the reward system. I especially recommend buying gift cards for your loved ones during the holidays they have great packages.

I went there and asked for a simple trim and they gave me a bowl cut and it doesn’t stop there. Multiple of my friends have went there and have a absolutely terrible experience. Everyone I know that’s went there has not got what they wanted. They should either shut down or get better!

My experience here was wonderful! Beautiful interiors, knowledgeable staff and great products. My masseuse, Skyler, gave me the best deep tissue massage I've had in a very long time. Prior to my massage I brought up the fact that I had back issues and she listened to my concerns and made me feel comfortable. I also received a facial, manicure, and pedicure. Amanda and Connie were both fantastic and today my skin and nails couldn't look better! I'll definitely be back.

Great locale, nice atmosphere but the shower hot water runs out WAY too soon. There needs to be a place to put your personal items back near the shower area. Massage therapists have all been good. A little too pricey.

While I'm more into relaxation, my husband goes for the therapeutic benifits, and we both leave happy.

Five stars for massages, customer service, ambiance, locker room and lounge - I could have stayed all day. Minus 0.5 stars for pushing products, it's a really uncomfortable way to leave a session. Otherwise it was a great experience. Parking is also really easy and free which is nice.

Spent $400 for the worst cut and color of my life. Cut was so uneven and the color was blotchy and terrible. When I contacted the salon they basically brushed me off and said that since it had been more than 2 weeks it’s my fault and I should have come back sooner, then suggested I book another appointment to pay for a toner. Not only was the 2 week policy never mentioned, but when I replied saying that I was out of town and couldn’t have come back within 2 week I never got a reply.

My massage therapist, Skyler, keeps me sane. Skyler has been my massage therapist for a while now and I really love her. Those fingers and elbows are magical. The facility is so clean and welcoming. The lounge area begins your mental calming with the low lights and cucumber water. Each visit is a wonderful experience!!!

I have never been disappointed and always leave feeling great and relaxed. Their massage therapists are top notch and I recently had an amazing facial with Tanya at the River Oaks location. I especially like that they have their own all natural products and a curated line of skin care. Everything smells amazing, too! This is my go to place for relaxation and spa services. I recently moved to Houston and was so happy that the Milk & Honey staff here is just as amazing as the ones in Austin where I used to go! I got a haircut from Kimber and she did not disappoint! She took her time with my initial consultation and with each step would make sure she was going the direction I wanted. She was so sweet to talk with and is incredibly talented. I'd like to rate them based on actual experience but since I've never actually been able to speak to reception to book an appointment after 3 attempts I give up and will just go elsewhere. Leaving messages and waiting for a call back is not customer service. Your in Houston it's not hard to find an additional receptionist If your so busy you cant answer the phones.

Nails and facials services are way below average quality -- by far. But I had a really good bikini wax. Overall, staff including technicians and the check in/check out desk is very nice but the management is sooo rude... Just mediocre trying to masquerade as lux.

Very pleasant environment. Came here with my friend for a massage. We were both asked about areas of concern, explained those areas to the masseuses, and both masseuses purposely went to the opposite side of pain. My masseuse said I should come back for a second session as soon as possible before the current session was even half way through. We both had a one hour massage. I am still in discomfort. Makes me wonder if they are more concerned about the money I will shell out or my actual comfort. Disappointed. Will go to a different location.

I went in for a haircut and ended up booking a facial on the same day! This visit was very special to me, as I chose to donate my hair to a Children's Hair Loss Foundation that's dear to my heart. The experience couldn't have been any more inviting, relaxing and comfortable. I saw Christy for my facial; she was very knowledgeable and super sweet! I was with Kristi for my haircut and she not only gave the best haircut, but gave me a style that fits my everyday lifestyle! I highly recommend visiting milk + honey; everyone was so welcoming from the moment I walked through the door. Great customer service and worth every penny!

Tried cancelling an appointment that was scheduled right before closing time but missed the receptionist and left a message to cancel. I called back the next day to make sure it was cancelled but i as told that i called to cancel exactly 21 hours before my appointment time (3 hours) outside of the cancellation period and they would not help waive the cancellation fee. All because i was short of the 3 hours. I asked if they could do it as a courtesy but they refused. I just started going here a few months ago on a biweekly bases but i wont be back.

I had decided to go all out and take my wife to a high end salon for her birthday. Very expensive operation but the stylist was a novice, My wife was worried about offending her and messing up my plans and got a low quality experience. If Milk and Honey is going to spend millions on there facility why not hire only the best? Instead of a happy wife I have frustration and dissatisfaction.

This is a beautiful spa in River Oaks. I have had their massages, facials, manicures, hair masks, and pedicures. The services are excellent, EXCEPT for the pedicures. I was actually shocked at how disappointing it was since all of the other services are so impressive. I get a far better pedicure at my local neighborhood nail salon. So, don't waste your time with their outrageously priced, poor pedicures. My favorite are the facials. Splurge on the most inclusive facial. It includes a back scrub and massage...Agh...Heaven. The estheticians for the facials are top-notch. The massage therapists are equally skilled. The spa offers a wide range of massages. They're so relaxing. The spa products are high quality and natural. This is my go-to splurge spa.

My favorite "me" time. A little on the pricey side but worth it. Their loyalty program is great too, I often get a free $40 for services. I personally recommend their hydrafacials, signature facials and their mani/pedis. The mani/pedis are expensive but they use all natural and high quality products plus the spa itself is very luxurious and calming. Worth the $$

Massage was okay. My wife liked it. I thought it was good to okay. However, we came 15-20 minutes late, and thus got a 50 minute massage instead of a 75 minute massage as we had signed up for. However, they charged us each for the full 75 minutes. I simply don’t think it’s right... I can understand charging us a penalty. But, paying 1/2 more (each) because you are late makes no sense and strikes me as greedy.

This past year I’ve been getting my hair cut with Krystal and she does a spectacular job. I have naturally blonde hair that kept getting darker but I hadn’t colored it in 10 years and was nervous to commit to coloring it again. She walked me through doing a “lived-in”, low maintenance balayage and it looks and feels incredible. I was nervous about maintaining the health of my hair so she took that into account when choosing the color and placement and she’s educated me on how to care for it. I am allergic to a lot of shampoo scents so she educated me on what to look for in an unscented shampoo, and suggested a trial size of the natural shampoo they offer at the salon (sadly it made me sneeze too much but it was glorious). Her hair cuts are perfect as well. I have thick hair that I blow dry every day so she does a great job of thinning it to cut down on time, while still maintaining a healthy look. I’ve only lived in Houston for two years and finding a good hair stylist was overwhelming - I did a lot of hopping around to find a professional that I loved, and Krystal is it!!

Our whole family goes to Kimber and we absolutely love her! I have been getting my hair cut by Kimber for 3 years and followed her into the city. Her biggest client is my mother who gets a color, cut, and a full keratin treatment! The keratin treatments have made a world of difference for her hair. She now drives an hour every time to see her because she won't go to anyone else. I would highly recommend going to see her! The salon is also a spa and very beautiful!

called ariel to make an appointment for a signature hydra facial using a gift card I received. The gift card came with another card that says i can enhance my visit to milk & honey with one of these complimentary enhancements if I schedule M-W and tell them about it. The enhancements under facial stated "hydrating hair mask, moisturizing eye, OR lip treatment." I tried to add the lip treatment and she said that the only one I can choose is a hair mask. When I asked why, I didn't really understand her answer. She said something about its too expensive and because of the way the machine is set up... I don't know. So I asked "ok does that mean that my signature hydra facial already includes eye and lip and thats why I can't add it on?" (because that would make sense). And she said she's not sure. I asked will they touch my lips at all during the signature hydrafacial, and again, she wasn't sure. I settled for the hair masque as I had no other option and then called her back to ask if someone who IS sure about what will happen during the facial can call me back and explain what the facial entails and why exactly they won't honor the written statement they sent with my gift card. She said she can do some research, placed me on hold for 15 minutes, then magically said "yes we can do the lip treatment." without any explanation again. I asked for the eye treatment instead and she said ok. I'm not sure why I had to fight for what this company voluntarily offered me in a written card mailed to me lol.

Ruined my mom’s birthday gift by “losing” her reservation for massage, even though the other two that were booked together as a package were still scheduled. Tried to offer a manicure or steam room in its place. Girl at front desk also caught attitude with my sister when she mentioned this ruined their girls day out by mouthing off, “well we OFFERED OTHER services.” Not the point. Terrible management. Terrible customer service. Will not be a repeat buyer at any milk + honey because of how this was managed and handled.

Horrible horrible horrible! Please don’t waste your time and money here. They have most inexperienced consultants at least that’s what they assigned me with . Wasted more than 3 hours at this salon and didn’t even get the service done!!!! She kept discussing how the color will be for endless amount of time and she seemed super inexperienced as this was not the first time I was getting my hair colored. Please save your time and money and go someplace else!

This is by far the best spa in Houston. I had the signature massage with Celeste and let me just say - she's the most incredible massage therapist I've ever had. She was incredibly knowledgeable about all the products the spa had to offer and she even helped me learn ways to relax to reduce the tension. The staff was extremely warm and friendly. The locker room was clean and had everything I needed. The robes were warm and the lounge (where you wait to be called for your services) was extremely tranquil. They offer hot tea and infused waters - and they have almonds & dried cranberries to snack on while you wait. Up until toda,y my go to spa was the Houstonian, but I can honestly say I will never step foot in another spa after coming to milk + honey. The next time I return i'll try the Spa Partisan! I can't wait. Also, the perfect place for your holiday and birthday gift cards! I know where I'm sending my mom for Mother's day!

What a terrible place to go!!! I will never go there or recommend this place to anyone. I had a treatment done by Kimber and she ruined my hair. Customer Service 0. I normally visit high end establish spas and this spa is by far one of, if not the worse that I ever been! She did the keratin treatment and applied on my scalp not only it gave me terrible dandruff like some horrible residue. I have washed with everything many times to try to take this chemical, which it was burning a bit in my eyes on the day she applied.. called many times to speak with a manager never got an text, email, phone call from her or any manager! Called about 10 times for you to have an idea for months never got a call back. Very unprofessional. Asks too many no of your business questions. Barely gave me a descent hair cut. I hate giving review. But, I don’t want this to happen to other people. Be alert! Even when I wash I have this problem still on my scalp. I consult with a doctor and they really recommended staying far away from a place like this. If a place don’t care about your customers to try to take care of something serious like this and resolve why would someone go back?

They are so great! And somehow the gift card I got for my girlfriend was lost. Just a phone call and they emailed me a new one! Friendly and professional. Part 2) Had to come back and edit this because there's more! When my girlfriend wanted to get her nails done this Saturday, they were all booked up with many other customers that love this place. We did call on short notice. However, Angela made it happen anyway, and my girlfriend is able to get her nails done and have a spa day. Henceforth putting the happy in birthday and adding extraordinary value to my feeble relationship. Thanks guys!

It's like she was trying her best to use as little of the product as possible. And my massage was horrible by a different person, she couldn't stop this one painful habit that I asked her to stop because it was hurting me.

Nice facilities. My massage from Simeon was great. The scalp massage was not worth the additional $25. They have a spacious lounge but it does not seem amendable to hanging out with girlfriends; there is even a sign reminding you to remain quiet. A recommendation would be for them to have a place where you can lounge and talk.

Much needed and so worth it! I would give 5 stars however, I was not a hundred percent satisfied, more like 85-90. The up sale of your professionals is a bit much, your products should be able to sell themselves, unless asked. If your going to talk through steps an process, just talk through please. I am here to relax not be pushed to buy products. The manicure could be more thorough, I work a lot and have rough hands and feet, so if I am going to invest this much money in your service, invest more effort in me as a consumer and clean up my cuticles properly as well as my feet and between my toes, attention to detail. Outside of those two areas, I give high praise to milk + honey. Thanks ladies, I look forward to next time.

My therapist was lovely, the only thing I didn't like was the wet warm towels and the air from the cealing vent blowed in my face. Next time I will let them know that I don't like wet towels and ask about closing the vent.

Update: Went back in for a deep tissue massage after being contacted by Alex. No issues this time around! The massage therapist got most of all my knots out and I feel much better. It was similar to the service I received in my past visits at Milk and Honey ____ My friend an I came to get prenatal massages before I was getting induced next week. I checked in at the front and there was a line waiting to check out so they said to go ahead to the locker room and someone would come to help me. NO ONE ever came.I grabbed a robe and slippers myself and thankfully I remembered how to use the lockers. When they called to confirm my appointment, I specifically said I wanted to lie on my stomach, it was the main reason I came here. Not only did I get a different therapist than the one I booked the appointment with, I was told they only had one bolster for prenatal massages and someone was already using it. The therapist said she spoke with the new management and he gave me the option of leaving my appointment and coming back at another date (and they would not charge me for their mistake) or getting either a back or foot scrub. My friend, who also had an appointment at the same time was offered the bolster but she declined. Upon check out, they told me that the therapist I booked the appointment with had the flu so that's why I got a different therapist but that I must have also incorrectly made the appointment and did not request her when I booked the appointment online (where you actually have to choose the therapist to book the appointment). I left here more tense than when I came in. Terrible experience all around, especially before being induced.
