UPDATED 9/26/18: Per the owner’s response to my original review, the spa offered to bring me back in as the correct protocol was not done during my original facial. This time I saw Natalie Anne and she was absolutely fantastic. And I have to say the spa did not have to offer that to me, It that was extremely kind and appreciated and made me feel valued as a customer. My facial experience today was definitely different from last time. Natalie Anne’s massage and facial techniques are wonderful and it did include my neck and décolleté area and light massage on the arms. She was very nice and extremely personable. I would absolutely go back to her. When I called and mentioned the owner’s response it was very easy to book and they even had recommendations on file as to who to use. Thank you to the spa owner for knowing the experience could be better and making that happen. Changed my star rating to 5 to represent the fantastic facial experience and the awesome customer service! Original review: I would like to first of all say that the rating is not a reflection on the young lady who did my facial. I thought she was very nice and accommodating. Her technique was also very good. With that said, I wish the site allowed half ratings because I'd give the actual facial a 2 1/2. The spa itself is pretty and seemed clean and relaxing. The option to change into a robe is nice but the reason I was there was for an excellent facial. And that is what was lacking for me. I found the protocol of the facial, assuming it was followed, to be very disappointing. I have just been through surgery and was looking forward to 50 minutes of relaxation. That's why I booked a spa that might be a little pricier but was (in my mind) more likely to provide that total relaxation. I did a 50 minute facial. At no time were my décolleté or neck even touched. I have never done any facial were they did not include those areas. I've done 25 min facials that included the neck and décolleté. It's pretty standard. The hand massage was about 30 sec on each hand, no arms included. I've also never had a facial were my scalp wasn't touched at all. Zero light massage time. Even when a mask is sitting on your face. With all that was missing, it just seemed off. When I asked the front desk if they had facials that included more they didn't really know. One girl said all she's had is the 'ultimate facial' and it included a little bit of it but not much. For the price and quality of service, I know I can find better elsewhere.

I want to give a shout-out to all the stylists in Daired's salon on Sunday, 3/17. I made a last minute appointment to come in to get my hair shaved off. After 2 chemo treatments, it was already toast and driving me crazy. My appointment was with Mikayla and she could not have been nicer or more considerate! I started to feel ill toward the end and the entire staff worked to make me more comfortable (sorry, I didn't get all your names!). I can't not say enough about how kind everyone was. The only reason I’m returning is because of Tamara. Customer Service is horrible they do not listen nor adknowledge a customer concern or maybe it’s just mine. I haven’t been here since October due a scheduling conflict which lead me to cancel my memebership. I had ask for a manager to contact me to express my concerns, I never received a call but instead received multiple text messages say “We Miss You call is to book your next appointment”. I was standing strong with not returning but unfortunately my skin has taken a major hit with me going for my monthly treatment and not purchasing the product to maintain my skin. I hate Tamara works here, she does the BEST facials in the DFW Metroplex at crappy place. Cheers to Tamara not Daireds.

Been coming here for a year now due to having the best service I've ever had! Makayla always takes care of me and has done a great job with my hair. She's very consistent when I'm keeping the same style and very good at adapting when I want to try something new. She always goes the extra mile offering me a drink every time I come in (which are great btw) and getting outside perspectives on my dude hair, rather than just "figuring it out" like I have seen many other average stylists do. My first time at Daireds was an excellent experience. Everyone was friendly and professional. I called Daireds and Reyna picked up the phone and was very helpful, she told me that they didn't accept walk-ins and that the hair dresser that I was recommended to was busy until next week but she was kind enough to recommend someone for me with the same level of experience and hair-cut styling technique. I scheduled my appointment for that day. I walked into Daireds and I was greeted quickly. I was asked to complete a new client form and to wait for Ashley who was my hair dresser. I was really nervous, I have had not very good experiences in the past with hair cuts. Needless to say, Ashley did great! she greeted me quickly didn't have me waiting for her for minutes or hours on end. She was very friendly and asked questions about my hair, what I was looking for, how I style it normally, everything. Then she gave me an amazing scalp massage before my shampoo and it was great. She then cut my hair to perfection and styled it, she even took the time to teach me how to curl my hair with a flat iron. The process didn't feel rush, she really took her time, making sure my hair was even, that it had enough volume without being too much hair (I have thick, wavy hair and I appreciate a good thinning). Anyways, I am glad to have had Ashley do my hair, I love my short hair now more than ever. Thank you Ashley!

UPDATED: I got a call from the spa manager that reached out to me the same day I posted this review. The manager offered me to come back and apologized profusely for my experience with the massage therapist. I made an appointment for the following day and my experience was 1000 times better. The lady that did my massage was absolutely wonderful. I have also gone back a following time to get a facial as well by the lovely aesthetician. This place is wonderful and definitely recommend. Customer satisfaction is very important to this company, Not for the reviews, but because they hold their company to high standards. ORIGINAL REVIEW: First impression is this place is lovely, I got a facial from there from an amazing esthetician and then had a massage lined up. Now to start off, the lady seemed friendly enough at first, however she discussed controversial topics throughout the entire one hour massage, most of which, clashed with my personal beliefs. Not only did she consistently talk the ENTIRE time, but I felt forced to interact. This ended up making the massage stressful instead of relaxing as it should have been. Quiet frankly, regarding the massage, I felt like I wasted my money. Other than this beautiful facility with lots of potential. I wish the massage had aligned with my relaxing spa-day expectations.

The manicurists and massage therapists were courteous. The front desk attendant who answers the phones was also nice, but not fully effective at her job. I telephoned Daired’s to request an appointment on a Sunday with my friend. The person who answered the phone stated that no appointment slots were open on Sunday. After that phone call I looked online and saw multiple open appointment slots for the Sunday in question, so I booked online. The woman who answered the phone could have missed an opportunity to generate revenue for the business by not looking into the appointment times more carefully.

I have visited Daireds on several occasions. Pedicure with Rosa a year ago which was amazing, used to get massages there all the time but recently I went in for full hi lights with Mallory. I loved that she listened carefully and knew exactly what I wanted. She did a great job. I have been with the same hair dresser for 30 years, and I haven’t been happy. Seems she wants what she wants to do haha! I have been wanting blonde back all over. I wear my hair up a lot and like having hi lites heavy underneath. And that’s exactly what Mallory did, it looks gorgeous! I have booked 2 other appts with Mallory for haircut and will go back to get more hi lites in a month! She is very sweet too! Can’t go wrong with Mallory!

Top 3 WORST haircuts I have every had. I called them several days afterward to express my displeasure. I was told the manager was not in that day but she would be contacting me the next day to "make things right". It's now been more than 2 weeks and still no call. If they schedule you with Siera tell them you want a different stylist. She is a very sweet girl, but she has no business cutting hair. I have long and short pieces all over my head. It's ridiculously horrible! It's much shorter than I asked for as well so there is no way to fix it at this point without it being even short!! Everytime I look in the mirror I get mad all over again. AVOID THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU DON'T CARE IF YOU LOOK TERRIBLE FOR MONTHS!

Today was our second time to go to Daireds to get our hair done. Having recently moved to the area we had to find someone here, which was difficult. We found Carly at Daireds that we liked, but Daireds on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired. We have been sitting here with no lights and no air for 3 hours now. Daireds is wanting to blame the electrical company, claiming that the power is out and it could take them days to fix it, but how are some of the plugs in here working at times if it's the electrical company? I'm not buying it! As much as we pay to come here, it seems that they could spend the money to keep things up to code so we can be comfortable while here.

I've had many massages during my lifetime and I can assure everyone that the experience with ALEXANDRIA was fantastic; THE BEST EVER! She truly has a Magic Touch. I've never experienced such absolute relaxation and in the first 20 minutes I was in dreamland. The tables are electronically adjustable and Warm. The most difficult part was having to force myself to get off the table. After we finished I took the offer to sit for awhile and enjoyed an excellent hot tea. The dressing rooms were spotless and comfortable. Everything from the time I walked in until I left was perfection. Thank You Alexandria!

Our Spa Day at Daired's Spa Pangea was absolute perfection! My mother, sister, and I got a spa package with massage, exfoliation, facial, mani, and pedi. Every single person who worked with us was kind, accommodating, and professional. As "fluffy" ladies, we were nervous about being accepted, but every one of the women who worked their magic on us made us feel accepted, appreciated and pampered. I would recommend this spa to ANYONE who wants a day of pampering and relaxation. This was a wonderful experience for our family and one we will always remember.

People think because of the high prices they are getting the best but they are just getting over charged. I had not one but TWO bad experiences here in both the salon and spa. I’m a former stylist and in the customer service field myself and from the way I was treated when I first walked in to the bad services I was overcharged for I just don’t know how they stay in business. A lot of undertrained staff. Over $300 worth of money in a gift card given to me as a bonus from my boss completely wasted! Not to mention a HORRIBLE haircut and color and terrible massage. I have been in contact with Hannah and she was prompt with the first problem I had but hasn’t returned my emails about the second time

Nice and pleasant experience with very nice people, if there is one thing that I was a bit disappointed about. It was that I was supposed to get a manicure but when I came to get a manicure I was told there was not enough time to do acrylic nails(at the time I had acrylic nails that needed to be filled) so I was not able to get my nails done but I wasn't too upset because I didn't have to pay the expense of the manicure that they were unable to do in the amount of time I had in the salon....I just wish I was informed before I scheduled the mani and pedi. I was also a bit dissatisfied when the lady who told me that she was not going to be able to do my nails, was struggling at painting designs on my big toes. She repeatedly removed the polish on my toes and I finally just suggested to her that a sparkly top coat would suffice at that point. I realized that she was simply just going to try to replicate the nail designs I showed her on my phone, so I tried to pick a simplistic and not too liberate design that I thought would make up for the manicure and kill the time I had not spent on the manicure.Turns out that it actually killed too much time because she was struggling and my friend who was still getting her natural nails painted finished her pedicure well after me and had to sit for a bit for mine to be finished. But other than that my hair stylist and massage therapist were amazing I walked out very pleased with my hair color, and unfortunately no manicure as expected and nail polish on my toes that chipped off the night of.

Pretty disappointed, I went in for a massage for a crick in my neck and did the 50 minute Swedish massage (which I’m pretty sure was less than 50 minutes) and the lady did not even rub my neck. Like five seconds at the very beginning and the shoulders for two minutes at the end.

I went in for a Brazilian wax. I've had this done for years, but never at this spa. The girl was definitely a novice. Never have I ever had such a painful and unsuccessful session. After an hour, I still had hair. She kept waxing over the same areas, they became red a raw. I had to tell her to stop, it was too painful to finish, I almost cried. I have never had to stop before. I recommend you request someone with experience if you visit. Or you might get stuck with the same girl I did.

If you are getting your nails done, KYLIE is the girl to see! I had a terrible manicure prior to seeing Kylie and she was able to salvage my nails and make them look great. Kylie is warm, professional, and pays super close attention to detail. I cant speak highly enough of the experience I had with Kylie.

Had a trim done by McKayla. When I called to make the appointment they said it'd be $55 for a trim with no blow-dry or style. Apparently this was for a "more experienced" hair dresser. I asked for any other options and they scheduled me with McKayla for $35. SHE WAS AMAZING. I don't even know how more skilled or professional you can get. Great service. Love my cut. She knew exactly what I wanted and delivered. I also saw on her mirror that she was going to be promoted soon. Way to go, McKayla!

Today I tried this spa out for my birthday. I heard it was a nice place from a Co worker. Well nice is an understatement. This place is marvelous. From the moment I walked in the staff was polite. The robes could use an upgrade,but the changing room is great. Now to the massage Shawn has hands from heaven! My swedish massage was such a pleasurable experience from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone going for a massage. They have other things that I would have love to try but when they say it's best to book an appt that is the truth because they were definitely booked but they were definitely good with time management. I plan to go back in the future with an appt and try a coconut milk bath!!

My wife made an appointment 2 weeks in advance and I took a day off of work so that I could watch our 10 month old so she could have he hair done and have a relaxing day so the day of the appointment she arrived 20 min early and the staff tells her that the person she had the appointment with had called in sick and they had no openings...very upsetting will not return to spend one dime at this place

I go for Swedish massages here every few months. The prices are pretty high, but it is worth it for the quality of the massage and the pleasant environment of the spa. However, don't go during busy times like Mother's Day or on long holiday week-ends. The quality of the service is definitely not the same, because I suspect due to staffing shortages. I stopped coming here since Jan 2019, as I found other places that are far cheaper and offer excellent quality one hour massages - only, they do not have the ambience of this place - no plush robes, or fancy water falls. I only care about the massage, and so I don't mind.

It was my first time at daireds and I made my appointment to get ombré done. After speaking to the stylist we both agreed it was not going to be exactly what I wanted due to previous colors. But just a darker brown to light brown on bottom. That sure didn't happen. It came out yellow brassy ugliest color ever. I was not happy but after being there for 3 hours I just wanted to leave. Total was over 200$ for something I hated. I told the lady in the front desk I was not happy and later in the afternoon a manager called and asked I come in to see what can be done to fix it. I did and went back in 2 days later to get it "fixed". They applied a brown on roots and a medium to cover the ugly brassy yellow. As she said it will wash off to a pretty light brown and give you the sombre look. I guess I was ok with that. After about 3 weeks now my hair is so ugly. The ends are back to brass color orange color. My roots are black! Worst experience ever! What makes me more mad is the first stylist just let me walk out the first time unsatisfied if I wouldn't have told the front desk lady. That would have been it. Total waste of money. I was so excited to get my hair done I was looking for a mommy makeover. I haven't touched my hair in over a year. And I went to daireds thinking they were the best and come to find out I there not. It so frustrating!!!

Had massage, facial pedicure and nail dip done. This package was a Mother's Day gift. I gave a three stars because my massage was great and facial by Cassandra was great also. The only thing I didn't like about facial section with Cassandra was she talk the whole time. I don't like to talk during my facial section and if I ever go back I will let her know. The WORST part of my visit was my pedicure and nail dip by Lori! She is terrible! I explained to her am very picky about my nails especially when it comes to getting pedicures, she informed me she has 25 years of doing nails ( more like 25 days). I said okay. Will I had gel on my nails and it was thick enough so they don't break. She looked at them and said wow is this gel.... hmmm yes . Well she only put one thin dip on my nails and one week later five nails have broken! When she said she don't use a nail drill I should have start running up out of her chair. She only had 10 nail dip colors and said her and the manager was going to get more colors and the reason she didn't have more is she had not decided if she was going to do nail dip! Lori needs refresh training when it comes to nails. She is so out of touch! Pedicures at this salon are expensive basic pedicures was $55 and that is not including removing callouses , $75 to remove callouses.

I always walk out of the salon feeling embarrassed, and every time I've come back they remind me why I shouldn't go there at all. For example, I went my junior year for prom to have my hair and makeup done and by the time I had gotten to the front desk I was offered a full refund by the manager after looking at me. The service I've had has been very unprofessional and I would not recommend it.

I had hair cut, hair curves styling here twice and Swedish massage 3 times. Overall, the atmosphere is very relaxing. The hair stylist was very sweet and good skill. I keep coming back because of her. For massage therapist, she was professional and gave me the pressure on my back exact what I requested. The room was very clean and the dim light made me feel very relaxing. Honestly, I fell asleep during the massage session!!:-)

The spa is beautiful. They offer many services to help you with skin care maintenance, manicures, pedicures, relaxation techniques not to mention they also have one of the best med spa's in the area. The cafe has many delightful items to offer including wine. I am always happy with the service that I receive. I highly recommend Natalie Anne, she is truly caring and very knowledgeable with skin care products, microdermabrasion, anti-aging and facial treatments.
